Nice to see someone shining a light on Battle Arms. Extremely underrated manufacturer. My only complaint is that I prefer to have a forward assist. With that said, my patrol carbine is an absolute joy to work with.
I trained and qualified on the M-16 when I was in the military. Not once did I or any of my colleagues ever use the forward assist, and to this day, I've not seen anyone ever have to use it. Maybe that's why B.A.D decided to get rid of it to reduce weight. Just my thought on it. I own the Authority Elite Model, and I love it. 💯💯💯👍👍👍😁😁
@alpha2957 I've tortured my guns, and the FA definitely has its place. If you keep them clean and/or have the time to clear them properly, the FA is useless. But if you're in an emergency situation and the bolt doesn't close, it could save your life. Look at the Kyle Rittenhouse situation. Laying on your ass, someone approaching with a gun, bolt doesn't close. He slapped the forward assist and was able to fire within a second. It doesn't cost anything to have a forward assist, it doesn't get in the way, and adds minimal weight. Why you wouldn't want an emergency button is beyond me.
One thing I wished they offered was the option for a cold hammer forged barrel. I know they use Rosco barrels which are known for being very accurate, but for a true duty rifle offering an FN barrel, at least as an option would be great. How about HBAR or Hanson profile barrels...
I’m new gun owner and my first AR was Bad (other) NJ CT compliant . I must say I’m very pleased with it and enjoy shooting. Mines has 12.5 Roscoe barrel lil over gassed at .075 just hold your breath lol Great company with good customer service.
My Workhorse PRC stock shoots just as well as my tuned DDMv7 with the Geiselle trigger. It is lightweight, good ergonomics, and great shooter. Thanks for the video!
Seen when describing what parts they make you apparently left out the hand rail, looks to be the exact rail that Radical Firearms use and manufacturers.
Pricey to be sure, but l damn well like mine. I haven't jazzed it up too much and l carry the pocket Constitution with me because.....well, it fits in my pocket. Pricey though.

Have you seen the economy lately? It's in the toilet and prices are soaring across all industries, including the gun industry. Yes we had a booming year last year, but that was mostly fueled by the Economic Stimulus checks that customers blew on things like the limited supply of guns and ammo that were already being inflated in price. There are fewer people working still than pre-Covid, no more Stimulus unless you have a child and get the child credit checks, and prices keep going up on products, even as supply is trickling back in. Most people have other priorities than buying another gun at an inflated price. Their are some who are doing ok though, and they are fueling the market now, but not even like they were when people were getting $2,400 in "free" money from the government to spend. I'm a dealer and most of my customers are being very conservative in their buying right now. They are opting for less expensive options than BAD Ar's and they are balancing their thriftiness against new products that are coming out that are catching their eye. Some are opting to set on their purchasing until one of the new products they have seen at Shot Show hit the market.
I own one of these rifles. Not a single stake point was done properly. Everything had to be restaked. Not a single screw was torqued to the proper spec. Within one magazine the gas block came loose and had to be reattached. Within 10 mags, the handguard came loose and had to be reattached. "Just as good" is not just as good. Buy from known builders who pay for experienced employee, not from somebody who pays for this clown's advertisement.

Of course, I always check the specs of any rifles or gun that catches my interests. And, I love the specs of the materials used. Those are top of the line for sure. Anyway, I've been wanting to purchase a 5.56 for awhile now. But, BCM doesn't have any to sell nor their dealers. So, this came at a Very Opportune Time.
