This video is trash. 101pod is the best.
You've got to be kidding me! A week of trying to memorize hiragana with no result what so ever just to learn the hole thing in ten minutes!
One of the best tutorials I've ever seen, and not only about 日本語
That's great to hear! I'm glad it helped!
I can’t learn from this video do you recommend any others?
the pretzel has me laughing so hard, i will NEVER forget meh
😅
@@learnjapaneseeasily with Hiragana & Katakana only
the way i remembered it, no is the simple version, nu is the super complex version, and me is in the middle, because im mid. I like it better that way.
I fr said "IS "ME" A PRETZEL!?"
Only 2 minutes in and the video so fast paced but at the same time the information is sticking with me. This actually has me pumped to learn because I thought it'd be so hard to learn. Thanks for this video, dude.
Glad it was helpful!
i tried to learn hiragana by brute force for 4 days but i learned more in 10 minutes, ありがとう ございます!
I'm glad the video helps! I really tried hard to come up with good ideas! Thanks for watching!
is it arigatou gozaimasu
@@Dnadhir Yep.
I've learned and forgotten hiragana a thousand times, so I decided to make the last time I watched on this video the last one. So I bought your book, First Japanese Reader, to keep on practicing. I'm loving it. It has been helping me a lot. Even when I struggle with kanjis, the notes and the audio versions you uploaded never let me down.
Thanks for your great work.
Thanks so much for the support!
nicely done. I learned a lot. More than what I learned in 2 weeks of studying hiragana.
Glad it was helpful!
How's your progress
I just started few days ago on pimsleur now im learning hiragana and katakana do i need to buy text books ?
OH MY GOD IT WORKS.
TOOK ME JUST 1 HOUR TO MEMORISE EVERY HIRAGANA
youre a wonderful teacher.

I broke my toenail in order to never forget that character
Haha! Great comment!
This is the image I've had in my head to remember the character to. Its a toe with a broken nail.

I always think I can't learn anything new but honestly, I learnt something off this video! I can't believe I could recognize these letters far better than what my teacher thought me I really think paying to learn something is kind of scam because I love how fast I learn here in under 10 mins than in 1 month 😭😭Thank you so much man, this really helped.
I'm glad it helped!
My sensei gave me 1 day to learn harigana. I think I’ll be good after a couple watches of this video. I’ve also downloaded this video for offline use
Did you succeed?
@@learnjapaneseeasily
My sensei said I did really good and asked me quote unquote “how did you do it in only one night?” And then I told her that I literally just been watching this video on repeat
Thank you so much dude
Currently learning Japanese and this help me SO much with learning hiragana. Took a few watches, but I was able to read the last group of words you put up. I was very proud of myself for it!
But man, I like pretzels. xD
Great job! Sorry, the pretzels joke was just a mnemonic ; )
I have a lot of languages I want to learn on my bucket list. Just added Japanese to that today lol. I'm not doing too well watching this for the first time, but after some practice hopefully I'll start to get the hang of it.
This one is the most well explained one. Congrats, 10/10
Thanks! I'm glad it's helpful!
Man you nailed the way i think it's a perfect video +channel for me😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I almost watch 50 video about this but it's you that make me laugh while learning
I'm glad it was entertaining! Thanks for watching and the great comment!
I started to learn Japanese 2 months ago.but I can't remember any letter. When I watched this i'm like a pro.Thank you for this. Love from Sr Lanka 🇱🇰💖
That's great to hear! Thanks!
I don't know how to feel about the changing fonts. It probably helps in the long run. Thank you for providing a video that's both easy to watch and listen to.
Glad it was helpful!
yup, i learned hiragana by practicing every once in a while using the same font and i got really confused when i met other fonts.
I found it easier to remember the scripts by your different image reference....arigato gozaimasu
I think i would watch this everyday for at least a week to fully master hiragana THANK YOU!!!
This is one of the best hiragana videos I've watched
Thanks!
So helpful with my test, your videos deserve more attention, btw thank so much :D
Glad it helped! Thanks for your support!
love this video. no dumb intro or obnoxious filler just straight to it, I appreciate it. Thank you
This beats all the one hour long videos on this platform. I wish I had stumbled upon this sooner. Thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Wait... I can read?
Hiragana at least, haha
This is amazing !!!! thank you so much !!! I'm able to read the words !!
I'm so glad!
This is SUPER helpful - I'm taking Japanese 1001 right now and I'm loving it!
Great to hear!
This is amazing! I have struggled learning hiragana and this video made it click! Thank you so much!
Oh wow, this is actually..... EASY o.o Might take some time to practice, but it's way easier than i thought it would be!
Arigato!
Glad it was helpful!
great work my dude! it’s really effective, i probably learnt 3x more from this than self learning and duo lingo hiragana practices
Glad it helped!
thank you so much you are the best teacher I have ever seen ❤❤😊😊
This video is fantastic. I get the real dopamine injection when I say the words you spell out. It's awesome
Nice! I'm glad it worked for you!
Thank you so much for this!!! I’m currently studying Japanese 1 and was having a hard time remembering the Hiragana characters. You made learning easy for me. I appreciate this video! ありがとう。😊
So turning it sideways pretty much sums it up,my brain kind of nearly shut down lol good work! This was awesome
Best video ever . It helped me learn hiragana characters faster than I ever could learn.
I came here to get assistance to remember Hiragana kana, and I got traumatized by the と image in my head. Either way, very useful video, I appreciate the help ^^
Glad I could help! Sorry about the toe! 😅
Good video I had to use it for school but Some of the letters don’t look at all like their hiragana contour part
Replied to my own comment LETS GO
i remember "ho" by looking at it sideways (ほ )if you tilt your head clockwise it looks like HO with a line under it.
Great strategy!
I have hyperlexia and this stuff just doesn’t make sense to me. Like, one day, it’s unrecognisable. The next it’s just in my head forever.
It will take a bit longer but keep trying! Whenever I have students who struggle, I remind them there’s no time limit for using romaji if it makes things easier! If your goal is fluency, you’ll be learning for a long time, it doesn’t matter if you need romaji for 3 weeks, 3 months or longer!
Thanks much i joined a japanese club and i was really falling behind since the discussions are so fast ;-;
The way I remembered ぬ is because it looks like め, but you have a hand in front saying you don’t want the pretzel - nu (no).
Great strategy!
To anyone who thinks learning hiragana like this is pointless....you aren't right. Honestly, these relations in the brain help to start. Once you practice reading long enough you don't need to worry anymore but before that fluence is acheived, such mnemonics really help.
Thank you so much, this improved my Hiragana a lot! (don't tell duolingo)
Welcome! Hahaha
This is so helpful, it makes it easy to remember👏🏼
Thanks! I'm glad!
ur much more creative than me my dude 😅
Hahaha, thanks
Thank you. I was able to read most of it.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you very much. Going to listen to this daily, and perhaps do art of the hiragana and their associations to make them really stick :-)
Wonderful!
A million times thank you for this wonderful video 😄❤️❤️
Welcome!
Thank you very much! So useful information!❤
Glad it was helpful!
wow the toenail and the pretzel really helped me remember it thank you so much 🙏🙏🙏
Wow, thank you , this was really useful.
Glad it was helpful!
Good job man , one of the best hiragana videos !
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching!
Learning Japanese has opened my eyes to English-borrowed words, English is my second language but I don't actually like English it's so inconsistent and well this is personal but I got bored of learning English because I can speak the language already so I'm jumping outta the boat to learn to swim again, But the difference is that I have experience learning a language so all the mistakes I made in the mistakes I'll just avoid them now
The word tsunami is borrowed in Spanish too wow this is really surprising
God Bless Y’all🙏🏽 Spread the Gospel🙌🏽
BROOOO THIS VIDEO IS AWESOME i got so fucking excited when icould read the words omg. so fun thank you
I'm glad!
Thank you
You're welcome! 🤗
Ya that's so far the best vid I've seen
Thanks!
How many times do I have to watch the video in order to stuck them into my brain? 😐
Thank you Learn, but I was serious 😢 How much days it take to you, to learn it? Is it a good thing to write it down, or just play with some flashcard app... I'm lost 😳
It depends on the person. Writing them down helps a lot. I think the key is to really visualize the associations while you watch the video. I would suggest writing each one down ten times and then testing yourself.
Don't worry so much about how long it takes, because you will see the hiragana a lot, so they will quickly get stuck in your brain.
@@learnjapaneseeasily Thanks for the suggestion. I'm already started to write them down, so I guess I will continue that and I will also start to watch the video in loop, hope for a brainwash. It is very good by the way, I really like it (the video) 😊 thanks again 😄
I'm glad you like the video! I also think it helps to write words (like the ones found in the video) rather than just repeatedly writing each character, since this assigns meaning to each kana and is less boring. Good luck!
I learnt a lot thanks for the video was so help ful
Glad to hear it!
alright ! i am ready to learn hiragana ! lets do this !

@@learnjapaneseeasily i realized taking notes of everything you say really helped. the amount of time it took me using your video to learn all hiragana is 3 hours, thats pretty impressive! its like knowing how to read a language in 3 hours!
Thanks so much!!
A lot of the mnemonics are great but I wish there were timestamps or were in the order taught by most school (a i u e o then k, s, t lines) instead of a random order so I can quick search for mneonics for the kana I struggle with. Appreciate it anyway
some of it are forced but a great help regardless.
It’s a bit fast but all the tricks are good, pausing it and going back a bit will help. 5:14 bruh
That's great to hear!
You're amazing!!!
Thanks for the great comment!
This is so funny. Exactly how I've been trying to memorize these
Not all of these stuck for me but I will definitely remember "to" forever lol
