I see, how did you deal with Kanjis and conversations in general? I managed to master the Hiragana but I still can't figure it out. Websites I've been to all has the same generic shit like すみません and stuffs.
@@gusta1604 when a left handed person writes, the ink stains to their hands bc the ink isnt dry yet while writing, so most left handers tend to choose to use fast drying pen and not like the pens thats used in this vid ( im sorry my english isnt good, its not my first language 😅 )
I attended Japanese language school in Hawai’i for many years in the 1960s as an after school program. I remember mindlessly filling practice books with hiragana characters. Now that I’m older, I appreciate the care and beauty in your calligraphy. I’m going to return to writing practice, only this time with care and mindfulness. Thank you for the inspiration.

This is similar to Swahili language because we use the same sounds but write them differently. Sa, se, so, si, shi, ra, re, ri, ro, wa, we and many more are Swahili sounds. Swahili language and Japanese language are highly similar. This has motivated me to learn Japanese!!!! Thanks for this video.

In case you read this comment, I have some questions that you might be able to answer in a future video. When you write き “ki” and さ “sa”, you leave a space in curve of the bottom. If I wrote them as they are above, as found on the kanji keyboard, would that be marked “wrong” if someone were testing me? The character ふ “hu/fu” is a similar situation, your handwritten character looks much different than the one offered on the keyboard. I want to write properly in order to one day (maybe) have a Japanese pen friend, so I don’t want to learn any bad habits now! ありがとうございます、先生
For all three characters (き、さ、ふ), you can either connect or leave a space; there’s no right or wrong. For き and さ, most Japanese people including myself leave a space as written in this video. For ふ, some people leave a space, and some people connect (I personally connect my ふs) Hope this helps! :)
I play a Japanese game with Japanese written text boxes. On my Fire it uses the space, on my phone it connects them. Probably because the Fire is bigger than my phone, but I guess they’re both correct and it doesn’t matter.

It is a “meat cleaver” or some other cutting tool. You draw the blade first, then the handle, and that small piece that was “cut off” last.
