I removed the driver's side engine mount, but wasn't able to loosen the nut that secures the mount to the bracket, it's on very tight, and I have no way of holding the bracket in one spot. I don't have a vice, will need to work something out. How did you do it? Just a suggestion, reinstalling is much easier if you do up the top nut first all the way until the little bump is sitting inside its spot, then lower the engine down, and put the through bolt in. This way the bracket just slides into position, can't go wrong.
IV only seen the clip , I had a few runs on one and have just got up to doing a fluid resivoir and actually had lift it from reverse transmission and pull a few strings could've done it while it was up crazy but cool my hanger bushes was not issue I thought under there as you turn that 18 mil nut off cause it only a question I've done all but radiator and think it's worth a watch and as this gets warm blooded it looks like U have an open hole myne had a bolt that slided in out , it permanently out , the mount still there
Well I had to move the jack and do one side at a time, om the passenger sides there were some pipes in the way, made it take way longer to change them. But finally I am done!
Maybe box mount. I have the same issue but know eng mounts and g box mount are screwed. I will do the box mount first and see if the vibration goes away without doing the mounts and let you know if interested
NEVER EVER use a brick to jack ANYTHING! You must use a block of wood. Its pliable. Either a hard wood like Jarrah or thick marine ply. Bricks are brittle and aren't designed to take that much weigh/pressure in such a tiny surface area (the 4 tiny thin points of the top of the rotatable jack head)

Can you just remove the radiator hose or do you have to drain the coolant first?

Me too, couldn't get the passenger side high enough to remove the mount.
I get a bit of shudder when the car is in park, but drives fine.. is that sign of worn engine mounts?

yes just did it pretty easy, helped 30% only. will do mounts saturday. expect a long wait for a reply mine is turbo :-/
