@@hasibchowdhury1742 Carters was as big as it gets being the world series stage and clincher, but if you take into consider everything that led up to that 7th inning, all the drama and tension, Bautista's was on a smaller stage but more dramatic. And that feel both teams hating each other and making things personal just added to the drama. But to not make the playoffs in 2 decades, than immediately go down 2 games to none and each game be a sudden death feel, battle back and then go down early that game to battle back again, and then have that run Odor scored that felt like they robbed the jays, and then the bottom of 7th comes and it all exploded, like a lightning. I watched both Carter and Bautista's HR on TV and Bautista's was more electric, something about that HR going with a big FU to the rangers lol It really felt like winning a world series again.
@@phily78 how do you know he wasn’t, this is someone else’s opinion. Who’s to say he didn’t think he was the worst ever and now just the 5th worst ballplayer ever. Still technically better than he thought, and junk at the same time.
Absolutely. I knew that homer was going to be number two on the list. I remember feeling a lot of the same feelings I did when Jose hit that home run as to when he hit his 2015 ALDS Game 5 HR. It wouldn't have been so overshadowed if the Jays won that game, as that would have been the reason they were able to come back. That whole event happened so fast which is why it's easily forgotten about. Jose ties the game in the top of the 8th, then the Jays lose the lead in the bottom of the 8th.
Awesome to relive some of these moments! Encarnacion had one of the most explosive swings, looking at his stance you really don't see that coming lol! The croud at the dome makes this that much more exciting to watch. Go jays!
I feel like both his walk off grand slams and also the Semien walkoff should both be on here. There were some weird home runs on this list that didn’t seem that exciting or special
Baseball is like rolling dice. Sometimes a good team looses a series. A ball hit a foot further, a runner a second faster and the entire game is changed. Just look at the 7th inning of that crazy game. 1 ball not dropped. 1 extra out recorded and Bautista never comes to bat. Maybe the Jays don't win that one.
Great video! Personally I would’ve included raimel tapia’s inside the park grand slam against Boston but the ones you picked were all great as well! Cheers buddy
I think it makes sense to ignore things like first career shots or almost all regular season dingers. I think it was correct to ignore such and include at least 35 of those great post season dingers during the short two year run.
People don't understand how clutch Bautista was in game 6 of 2015 ALDS. He went crazy. Imo, if the Jays won that game, they would have gone on to win game 7 and the world series vs The Mets
#16 should be 2. 1 is the moment that changed the future of baseball. 2 happened 3 days before. And that home run, was the domino, that even allowed the jays to play in a game 4. (They WERE down 2-0 in that series guys) And Tulos had the 1.0 Win Probability Added.
george springers go ahead dinger vs the red sox should be top 10. context matters, capped off a huge comeback vs the hated red sox. the dome went crazy, one of the best atmospheres after batflip
i just thought the 2016 ALCS was just a "fail" when I was watching them when I was a kid, Cleveland was just way too overpowered, got our pitchers in a tough ending, especially winning only 1 game in that series against them.. 2015 was sorta my fav as a kid
The fact that Kawasaki's 1st Career HR (6 21 2013 vs Baltimore) isn't on this list is criminal. "Lil Papi" never gets respect. That being said. Great list.
though it was a terrific game and the home runs were huge in the context of that game, it didn’t have much of a championship win probability effect. we were still a ways away from being in a postseason position due to our slide right before this game.

You deserve more views, GREAT video!!! so hyped for the upcoming season
Fun fact: Jose Bautista's HR in game 5 of the 2015 ALDS is the only instance of a walk-off home-run in the seventh inning.
What about the 7th inning double headers last year

Let's be honest, we all came here wondering what the 24 runner ups to Bautista's bat flip were gonna be.
Yeah but joe caters homer to win the world series is still the best homer of all time
I would put that 2nd behind Joe Carters 1993 homerun in the world series.
yes
Of ALL TIME Carter's is #1, #2 Bautista and #3 Alomar off Dennis Eckersley

2015-2016 seasons were so fun to watch. Lets hope the jays can do something special this year with a new era of players
Tulo was way more productive than I thought
he had some huge hits, just wasn’t on the field a whole lot

2015 and 2016 were amazing years as jays fans, they were so awesome!
I feel like those days are coming back, the Jays look stacked this season, good luck from a Mets fan
Time to rock the rogers centre again this year
Jose in Game 6 2015 ALCS. So incredibly clutch. Because they lose, this is underrated by many IMO.
his game tying homer is the most underrated homer in jays history imo
This is the only game in Jays history I wish we could have back. The Ump downright decided that game against us in the 9th.

I had completely forgot about Chris Colabello. What a great team that was.
The boys of summer are back in Toronto. Now they are the men of playoffs. Let's Go Blue Jays!!
Steves pierce’s 2nd walk off grand slam shouldve been on there
I feel like both his walk off grand slams and also the Semien walkoff should both be on here. There were some weird home runs on this list that didn’t seem that exciting or special
I still miss Jose. Seemed like every time someone mad him angry you could almost guarantee he'd hit a home run.
you know what number 1 is, but you have to watch because its a thing of beauty
I think it was john mcdonald who hit a home run on fathers day only a few days after losing his dad. That was a pretty cool home run too.
The nostalgia is insane.
Really wish one of those mid 2010s teams could have at least reached a World Series, dunno what went so wrong in those championship series
They just ran into better teams
pitching wasnt good enough

This video just shows me how much the blue jays lit up Darvish hahah
I genuinely think that Edwin had the most raw power in the sport since Barry Bonds. If he got into one, it was going a loooooong way.
