I don’t know what it is but those bass drops throughout Undertaker seeeeeeent me back in time. I remember seeing shows back in the late 2000’s/early 2010’s and those bass drops ringing in my chest were my favorite.

I was about to fly across the country just for them. I love the other groups, but they would have been my #1 reason for going to WWWY this year

I only saw them once and it was at Warped Tour 2007. They played right before Coheed and both bands drew the biggest crowds that day besides Paramore later on.
Is that the Paramore crowd that moved the entire audience like 8 feet left and right?? That was insane!!
When I think of Chiodos I think “they had some good songs..” but if I’m ever within arms reach of a Chiodos show it doesn’t matter if I remember the songs or not I am hurting myself in the spinning wheel of angry children

My all time favorite band. Would’ve loved to have been there. I did get to see them when the got Thomas Erak to play with them. It was amazing. Of all the videos I’ve seen of this event, this takes the cake by far. They seemed to have aged like fine wine and Craig literally sounds like he’s in his prime right here. Goose bumps!

This set was so amazing. I'll never forget how full my heart felt. Craig was so into every bit of this set. His eyes after he would sing certain lyrics just burned into my soul. I've seen drugs in a couple small settings and seeing this big set blew my mind. Craig does not lip sync. Almost every artist uses back tracks for entertainment purposes now. So excited to see more of Chiodos. Hope they do Bone Palace too!

Every single song he sang on this set was backtracked, clear as day. They all sound identically to the album version to every single track that was played at the show.

Because they were. There are clips where you can see him lip syching. He can’t hit those notes anymore. His voice changed with age. He can still sing but not that high.

I hated Craig for that intro in that moment. I had a massive migraine but was mainly at wwwy for Chiodos, so powered through. Screamed my heart out the whole set. After the set it was just a headache. 🤘🏻

Why are they playing The Undertakers Thirst? Isn’t this supposed to be the entire “All’s well that ends well”?
So, it isn't really even Chiodos, it's Craig with a hired band, and he's not even really singing for over 95% of the set. He's lip syncing. He didn't do all of All's well, he did Undertakers + Termacare + a reduced set of some of the songs off of All's Well. The sound guys struggled with actually turning on his mic when he wanted to talk, it was honestly such a mess and upsetting after the fact, but in the moment when you can't see it clearly from the crowd and you're jumping around and singing / screaming every word, it was a blast... 😅

His mic was off during songs, because it was running on backing tracks, and they were turning it on whenever he tried to talk. You can look it up, there's like 10 clear zoomed in videos from VIP sections about this that display it with no doubt, even showing him struggling when he accidentally paused or turned off the backtrack.

At minimum, the vocals are nearly entirely backtracked. So yeah, they sound great. Evidence of other instruments being back tracked as well, except for the drums. Lame.

@@zechs5079 it's possible the backing vocals were up too high, because you can hear them come in through out the whole of every single song, but I don't know how it could be lip synced with all the timing issues that drummer had.
@@djstringsmusic2994 if there are backing tracks they are playing to a click which means it could easily have been lip synced. Drummer could just suck or have had issues with their in ears.

Based on what I can hear, it seems like the backing track is insanely loud, listening to how full the vocals get transitioning from when he yells something at the crowd at roughly the same pitch and volume as the next singing section, I think it's likely a way too loud backing track.

It can't be 100% lipsynced listen to this again and pay attention to how inconsistent that drummer is throughout the whole set. Also the backing track is way too loud. Also, there's too many small differences between the album version and this performance.

lol so many people amazed at the sound of Craig's autotuned backing tracks to which he is lip syncing (in a very bad way) but no one is giving credit to the ghost that sings the other backing (and now autotuned) vocals (and samples). And to think Chiodos was actually good, even his wrong notes used to sound great, human, real.

I'm glad everyone is stoked about this BUT, at minimum, the vocals are almost entirely back tracked and he is Lip Syncing. There are also moments of the other instruments not aligning with the music. Which is so lame. He doesn't sounds good, the backing tracks sound good. In fact, it's very obviously too good. Ugh.

The backtrack is the lead though. Craig’s actual voice is much lower in the mix. Almost sounds like the backing track is sidechained to the live vocal track to push his live vocals down when they’re playing. It’s despicable.

@@mellowminnowmusic his vocals sound identical to the record versions of every single song they "played". Other videos were uploaded too where it's clear he's lip syncing. He may be singing but the studio background track is playing so loud you can't hear it - 7:20 is a perfect example of this. Those are his actual vocals and they are about half the volume of the actual background tracking playing throughout the rest of the song.

Drummer for new chiodos is extremely good. He’s in Frail Body, and he’s also in Pains. Absolute machine gun drummer. Sounds like there was some drum mic issues for anyone that doesn’t know the technical aspects of how that works. More of a stage crew/sound mistake.

There is. If you watch the beginning of The Undertaker's Thirst For Revenge the guitarist that does Nick Martin's screaming parts is playing keyboard. Definitely wasn't live keyboard throughout the entire set though.

These negative comments are obviously from friends of the ex Chiodos members or people who can’t let go of the past band . Chiodos is Craig now and whoever he chooses to be in the band from here on out . People need to get used to it . I’ve seen Craig live more times than I can count and he doesn’t lip sing. I’m glad there’s still a ton of fans who know the truth. The haters are only making him get more views so go ahead and hate but Craig will never stop having supporters who know his talents .
