So those potentiometers just upgrade signal/smoothness... But do they remove the dead zones? Judging from the portion of the video where you are flying, it looks like there are still dead zones
The dead zone is likely hard coded into the firmware, so no component mod is going to rid you of it. You would need a new microcontroller to eliminate it.
Would like to try this on my poor-mans version yoke..G-Force Plus. I long ago replaced the springs with dental rubber bands, springs always seemed too stiff(of course rubber bands need replaced more often). The yoke has served me well for many years...but I believe the old pots have been causing roll-overs on short final when frequent inputs are in use. Any recommendations for Amazon/Ebay/other better pots and/or HE sensors to replace existing? Thanks.
Hi SanDiegoLan, Please accept my sincere apology for causing you the troubles with many questions regarding my contact link. I was occupied by my daily 9 to 5 work since January 2024 and have not not checking the messages in all links. I also accidentally deleted all my TH-cam videos by mistakes and will post back the videos later. Really appreciated your time to produce this wonderful video for the HE kit installation instruction.
As ntydk is no longer on TH-cam, do you have the part numbers for your hall effect sensors? A scan of the casings so that someone can generate a 3D print would be great too
@@PaulSmyth no problem, im in the middle of designing a new mount in place of his missing files, once done, i will reply again, send me a message so i have your contact info and i will send it to you or just post it on thingiverse or something!
I had one of the first HE kits from nytdk around ten years ago for my CH yoke. Still works fine but I'd like to check if there was an upgrade. Can't find him anywhere
NTYDK appears on avsim forums, lots of posts developing this and other upgrades. However all posts link to their youtube channel which of course no longer exists. They do still visit the forum as of this posting, so maybe you can ask them there.
Hello, can i have the link to buy the 2 pieces off 3D and effect hall sensor?
The link here is dead.
Thanks a loot
Seems like ntydk is no longer on youtube, any pointers where can one find what type of hardware was used for building hall effect sensor ?
i cant even find the STL for the parts. ugh
Bonjour je voudrais changer mes potentiometres, où trouver les fichiers STL. Quel capteur est utilisé ?
Merci.
I how i buy this sensore? How much cost?
Where can I buy the kit you used?
Months of folks asking where to get the parts with no answer (not even a I/we don't know) is kinda trash.

Has anyone figured out a way to get in touch with NTYDK and order Hall Effect sensors? I’d like to get them as well.

Very interesting and well done video, thanks. By the way, what about the wonderful monitor? Thinking of a curved one (I'm currently using a 42" 4K TV)
