For those considering this a high level yoke, I'll throw in that I have a Yoko+ and a Ruddo, and sadly while they're good products I can't recommend Virtualfly. The support is not what you expect for the price, and the rudder is a nightmare to disassemble /reassemble. The software is also subpar.
Seems very close to the Fulcrum I use for two years and I am very glad with it. Unfortunately Fulcrum suffered heavily because of the Covid and for the time being does'nt produce.
Was this video recorded before you had the Authentikit Comanche controls, or did you have to give it back? Seems like this yoke paired with the Authentikit unit would be the ultimate combo for the A2A Comanche
I hear that, for some reason, this yoke doesn't work with other components? Is that... true? Like if I wanted brunner pedals, will they not be compatible?
@@skippychurch2965 not experienced that (I don’t have Brunner). It is a standard peripheral interface so should work just like any other joystick or yoke.
FFB yoke is a different animal and personally, although much more expensive, I would opt for FFB over a standard yoke every time. For those not willing to pay for FFB this is the next best thing.
Too late smile 😃 I already have the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, and the thrustmaster Boeing Edition Yoke and throttle quadrant My partner has said no more simulator peripheralsand I admittedly agree 👌
Shame about Honeycomb. I did grab myself a backup Alpha/Bravo pair so I should be good on a yoke for a while. However this one does look pretty good but $170 for shipping to the US. I'm sorry but $170 for a 16lb block of aluminum is beyond ridiculous. Nothing against the product itself but there is no excuse for that shipping.
It’s 16 pounds. I was sent 4 puzzles that weren’t what they should be. It would have cost me $80-$150 to send it back to China. Puzzles don’t weigh anything as much as 16 pounds yet was ridiculously priced to send it back either US Post or UPS.

Nice looking unit. I'm impressed with the quality.
I'd like to see SmartFly fill the void left by Honeycomb.
What void? Is Honeycomb gone?
@@SimWithDon Honeycomb is in shambles. Production has ceased production for at least a year. Honeycomb doesn't even know who owns the company!
@@spinb what a shame. Their products are good and a good value.

Yes it is very similar to the excellent but I’ll-fated Fulcrum
thanks for the review
Considering that Honeycomb is defunct this is great!
Hi, Mark,
What is the small piece of hardware attached to the Bravo...and a link, perhaps?
Another spot-on video here, too.
Well done, as usual.

That looks like a great quality yoke!

Agreed, the Comanche TQ will feature in a future video 😊

They need to add more switches to the yoke. This isn’t for a real airplane, it’s for simming and that’s not the same.
After the CLS-60 , would you prefer FFB over this?
That’s what i think too, hope mark can confirm, he has hands on experience

I don't have a table that big, so the new yoke won't work for me!!
This is definitely the most value under £20000 Yoke
Not compatible with Xbox?
Unfortunately not.
