We took a look around the overgrown property and quickly realized that the home had been vandalized, occupied by squatters or possibly both. This free lawn clean up is one of our biggest yet, mostly due to the overgrowth in the backyard as well as the amount of sticks and branches that have fallen all over this overgrown property.

Farmers do not wear masks. Wearing a mask cuts down on oxygen, which is essential for good health.
Another satisfying one in the books. I love that you remove yard waste regardless of whether someone lives there or not. You hold true to making full yard transformation videos.
That's one of the things I really love about them. So many of the other lawn care channels just mow and go. The fact that these two go beyond what others do is because of their amazing work ethic and integrity. Even if it's an abandoned property, they treat the job as if they were getting paid by the property owner.

I agree with you on that. And they both need safety glasses so that dust and grass, etc..., doesn't get in their eyes. I get that it's hot hard work, but as one with COPD in my old age, do all you can to do to prevent health issues in the future. Back braces too for the hard work will catch up with them one day. Whoever thought up the term, "golden years" must have been loaded with gold because they surely aren't talking about aging!

Casey, you are definitely a man of my heart. I absolutely hate seeing trash everywhere. Even on garbage days, I pick up whatever the wind blows down the street. Yes, I'm the neighbor that cleans up! 2nd pet peeve is cigarette butts. I'm a former smoker, and I would extinguish the smoke, and put it in my pocket to dispose of later. If I remembered!! The neighbors need to contact the owner, then the city. Every vacant house needs a family.
I still occasionally see where someone has dumped their over-full car ashtray in parking lots.

Respect peoples choices. When you cut the lawn, wear a mask but don't expect others to do the same. We Respect your choice therefore, respect ours. ( If I get sick because of my choice I am willing to accept that consequence. ) BUT I do not think it is good to breath in all that carbon dioxide or germs from condensation. Everyone has job hazards in thier profession it is the cost or working.

Good afternoon everyone. Go to city hall & look up on the registry and see who owns the house. Send them a letter and let them know what's going on with their property. That way they can do something about it. Just my opinion. Great job guys!!! Peace and Blessings!!!
I live in Florida and lots and lots of homes here have been bought up by investors. They buy them to flip for profit but also to rent . So many of them sit for month on end with no outside maintenance . And NO lawn care. I don’t understand why the county code inspectors are not violating them. It’s not fair to homeowners who do take care of theirs because it brings down their property values. And the county could collect more fines that would help pay county funds.

I love watching your videos. There is one thing I'm concerned about though. When you and your mother are weed eating and mowing you are throwing up ALOT of dust, and neither one of you are wearing masks. You could get very sick breathing in all that dust and dirt into your lungs.

I must say I am so impressed with your work on this abandoned house. This is the first video I have seen you do on an abandoned house and the level of integrity and work ethic you showed was amazing. Most people when they do an abandoned house do just the minimum required but you trimmed the bushes, the trees, blew off the roof, even picked up your grass clippings. Every time you said pick-up sticks it made me laugh (that was/is a children's game). You two did an amazing job - and you're right. If the house & yard don't look so neglected perhaps the ne'er-do-wells will stay away.

5:18 ❤ as I am looking at your video I’m saying to myself, what a lovely man and the way you treat your mother is so beautiful! There’s an old saying that says, look at how a man treats his mother and you’ll see the way he treats you! I love watching both of you joke around together and the lovely complicity you have together is so much fun. Your mom is a strong woman too, and she raised you right! Both of you are lovely souls. It’s always a pleasure to come back and watch your videos. Have a lovely summer! I am up in the north eastern mountains of Lanaudiere Quebec and there is still a lot of snow here it is slowly melting though, and when I watch your videos, it makes me feel good because I have a lot of work to do on my land too in the summer. The house that I bought here necessitates a lot of work, especially on the land because it was strewn with a lot of garbage everywhere and tons, and tons of pallets, lot of rotting wooden pallets and huge, gigantic spindles that are made of wood and many of them were rotting as well. That was all over the land. Those spindles were for cables, and for some funny reason, the people living here kept hoarding them, so I had to buy a lot of power tools because a lot of these spindles were tied together with huge rods metal rods that I had to cut through and then detach the top in the bottom parts of the spindles and I am 5 foot 6” and these spindle top and bottoms, were about 10 feet high, some smaller, but a lot of them were stacked on my land in the woods, littering the whole place, and stacked four , one on top of the other at a time! The pallets were stacked up to 10 feet as well and believe me, they were something to take apart. Luckily, my brother-in-law gave me some 55 gallon barrels of which I stuck three together and was able to burn all that and the ones that were not rotten. I gave them away! This has been going on since I bought the property in 2021 in August. It will make three years that I’m here. However, last year there was a freak flood, and since I had a lot of renovations to do in this house upstairs, I had put most of my life in boxes downstairs in the basement so last spring, I saw my whole life floating around in the basement, and apparently, since I was not alone getting help to get this under control took a lot of time. I lost a lot of things a lot of memorabilia all my paperwork all my bills, my record, collections, audio, cassettes, everything power tools, even my beloved Stihl, chainsaw, and my gas blower, the other Chainsaws that I wasn’t too fond of my power tools that hit me hard because to me having power tools meant freedom from having to ask people to do things for me. Plus a lot of my electronic equipment for my computers, and a lot more! At 66 years young ha ha, that literally knocked the wind out of my sails. Plus, the little time that I could have gone out to work on my land was shortened by the smoke and sut particles that were blowing from the freak wildfires from not too far too! I can only hope that 2024 will be a better year! Ouf!😅 that felt good to let it all out! Living alone is great, but not having anyone to talk to when you need to, can get a bit bothersome ! I am eternally grateful to be healthy and strong. My mother thought me how to be résiliant and I think that’s what always helped me in the past! Again, thanks for brightening up my day and God Bless both of you! 🙏

Trish, this video makes me so much happier! You have long sleeves & gloves on! Now if we can just get you to wear a mask or even a gaitor to protect your lungs. Whenever hear snakes, I ALWAYS wore boots where snakes or spiders were around, & velcro straps around the ankles of my pants if I couldn't tuck them in my boots! Nobody wants unwanted visitors. When I was in my early 30s, I used to wear shorts & flip flops to mow. After a bad brown recluse bite & an unexpected meeting between my self propelled mower & a hefty nest of ground bees, lets just say lessons learned! 😂😂😂
