I prefer the in depth , long format videos… Beyond looking for solutions to issues, the process of elimination and diagnostics is more informative for myself. Thank you for your efforts and sharing knowledge.
I spent a year and a half and hundred upon hundreds of hours on my 89 GT/Canadian Cobra car, and it's finally 100% done! Except the loose ends of course ;) You're doing a great job on all your videos Gary, glad to see your channel growing!
I was LITERALLY ripping off the front window trim of the GT yesterday and low and behold.......Guess what I find! Some dingus in a previous life broke the damn tabs in the exact same spot! At least you can get new trim and tabs from LMR, but I just hate the fact that over the years people get so lazy on these. Wood screws, broken tabs, I could build a deck out of all the deck screws and glue I have taken out of this thing!
Didn't know you could paint trim. Didn't know about trim paint. Instead of replacing the faded trim around the convertible top on my 94, I'll find some of this paint and paint. Far cheaper than replacing the trim
Had a horrible high idle on my 90gt and drove myself nuts chasing down every vacuum line. When I finally found the cause it wasn't a vacuum line but the rubber boot on my intake pipe was pinched and curled up where it meets the throttle body but it was underneath so it wasn't easily noticeable.
I remember when they came out with the mass air conversion kit offered by Ford Motorsports for the speed density conversion. Did they not have an information package to make this fairly seamless for the conversion, or did a lot of them get installed doing shortcuts ? My car is an 89, so I myself didn't need it but knew it would making engine mods easier for earlier cars. I view your video's as very informative filled and the length doesn't bother me one bit due to that quality, but I'm a retired engineer who likes good information.
Good Vid -- 28 min long thats why you have a fast forward button on your PC LOLOL Merry Christmas to ya -- still waitin on the bandit in the back round ( :
Thx buddy. I smashed it with my 3/8” dewalt rachet 😂. The light is great. I wish it would size itself slightly smaller. If you see in my video, the only way to get it on a fox hood is sideways due to its overall length…
Quick question, when you swap from sd to maf, aren't you supposed to remove vacuum line from map sensor and it becomes a bap sensor? P.s. wish the average stang in my area was that nice!
I meant to ask you... have you run across any "stretched " accelerator cables ? Very low gas pedal because there is slack in the cable . I've seen zip-tie fixes but they say that leads to the cable breaking.
@@KASLCustoms I bought a replacement cable from LMR but as soon as I took it out of the wrapper I knew is wasn't the right part. I called them and they just refunded my purchase price because they had other complaints about it not being the same. Even with the pedal all the way to the floor, the throttle plate is only about 2/3 open .I guess it is a common problem so l went on a few sites and seen guys removing the instrument panel to get to the pedal assembly bracket at the top of the where the cable if fitted by a small plastic cap that snaps it in place.I pulled the seat and laid on my back for hours trying to get it out then having to put the old cable back in.. if you ever get a chance ..have someone press the pedal to the floor and view your throttle plate and see just where it opens too, I removed my OEM 85 mph instrument cluster a few years after I bought it.and replaced it with the 140 mph... but I didn't know about the cable stretch issue then..
I did the license plate lense, screw, seal, and led kit from LMR on mine. Dude had blue lights in there and one wasn't working. Could have got pulled over for the blue light and or one not working.
Imagine you got that carpet from LMR; i did the same and in no time at all, it faded badly and left me wishing I'd of kept the original and just cleaned it as best i could have. It was/is a real disappointment.
Quick Question: Do you advocate for strut tower braces like the Maximum Motosports style? I never see any of you guys running them. I love the functionality but worry about it taking away from the awesome looks of my engine bay.
Hey bud. There is definitely a time and a place for them. I’ve never had a car with a “tuned enough” suspension to have to worry about getting one. Also, for the type of driving I do, I feel it’s over kill for my application 👍
"Windshield snot" LOL well I guess whoever snotted that on there just wanted it done and over with EH and who was going to know until someone went in there again. Not what I would do. Not what you would do.
Don't you like when people go to change things and do a half-@ss job, and makes things worse, then the problems gets passed down the line, which become a rats nest. Great job fixing these passed down junk repairs.
Love the longer videos.
The devil is the details!!! KASL is a master craftsman with great description and amazing workspace prep and maintenance. #Goals 👍🏼
Thanks so much buddy!!!

LOL!!! Yessir. I will do a video and when it comes, you know exactly who its going to be for 😉
GREAT WORK, what did you do to your finger? looks painful...how do you like that Dewalt light bar?

Yes, you are correct on the MAP sensor. This one however was bad and needed to be changed
Thanks for everything you do for the fox community bud!! Merry Christmas you filthy animal

The blue 2 tone in beginning of video,
Do you know what kind of wheels those are?

I can’t say I have

LOL - I have seen folks rocking the coloured light before as well...
@@KASLCustoms you can get pulled over for having blue if a cop wants a reason to pull you over and I'm already loud with Spintech side pipes

Fiber glass hood
