super helpful guide. I have been growing my moustache for around 6 months and it was going a bit wild. When I ate most of my mouthful was hair. Was really nervous about cutting it in case I made a mess but really happy with the results
I have been very unsuccessful with getting barbers to understand how I want my mustache trimmed, so I decided to take matters in my own hands and learn to trim my own mustache. Hence, the reason I'm here. Thanks for giving me the confidence to trim my own mustache.
Very helpful video. I really need to trim my mustache but was afraid to because I’m trying to grow it out. Now I can trim it with confidence, thank you kind sir 🙏🏼
No problem man! just be really careful getting the moustache prepped and brush it outwards and not down. Otherwise you are going to get that weird square cut. And take your time :) - Daniel
Just ordered a small scissor from Amazon! hopefully it will be game changer to trim down the Moustache with the scissor and not the trimmer before the hair goes down awkwardly to the mouth! :D
I've realized after watching maybe about 10 different trimming videos. Just for starters, i've had a beard for a while i'm not a beginner but I haven't tamed it in a while I just shave it clean when I get drunk...lol Any way I realized you really need someone with a similar beard to be able to relate beard wise. Great Video! I hope you get more subs! Nice camera too.
Hey buddy how are you? That’s awesome to hear. My moustache is massively different now as it’s not had a single trim in 6-7 months. Yeah it either grows faster or slower than the rest of the Beard
I have a moustache styling video out in the next week or so my man. I’ll be doing a lot more on the moustache from August time and whenever I get any new moustache products to try out 👍🏻 glad you found it useful
Special scissors? Aren't most scissors exclusively right OR left handed? I have found that so (with non-specialty hair scissors) and am still nonplussed as to why.
nice beard man, i smile with a big cheesy smile and trim it that way just shaving along the edge of my top lip and that works nice too but im looking for what to do with the ends of the stache cos i dont suite the twisted look lol
I get that! I’ve actually gone real short on the stache now and I just trim the ends to keep the shape but keep it tight. The twisty Moustsche was too much effort each day
Watched this video quite a few times and just realising what a great job you did. Any wonder your videos are getting more views. Anyhow....Get more videos on the go Dan!! Come on Sir!!! Get the finger out!!!! 😉🇮🇪xx
Started cutting my uncut 5+ year moustache mid video... While I'm chopping away doing exactly as you did... then at the end you say don't do what you just did!? Hahaha nah thanks though looks less scruffy
One side of my stache is super thick. The other is.... not. It’s one of those things you only really notice if you’re staring at someone’s face real close and inspecting it. Who does that anyway?? Well, me... but I’m weird.
😂😂😂😂 my entire beard and stache is the same. The left size grows twice as fast I swear. My barber has to really work on the left size to stop it running away from the right side. Like you say, unless someone is really close to you, touching your beard and staring at it, they won’t notice.
Dude, no offence, but that moustache needs to stay away from your food. All those hairs covering your entire upper lip won't help. Otherwise, good tips
Simple but really helpful method to not lose volume on a big moustache but also keeping it tidy. Great stuff!
Thanks man! I can hardly remember this video it was made so long ago 😂

I know the feeling! It’s terrifying trimming the stache (I’ve made a lot of mistakes in the past). Glad it helped you 👍🏻
...
This is tbh one of the best vids on mustache trimming
Appreciate that ✌️

Wooohhhh, that’s why I don’t drink much! I’d do something stupid with my beard 😂😂😂
@@Beardster ehh it grows back fast I'm lucky ;)
OMG that’s a rug on his face !! I’m jealous super sick beard 🧔
Haha that’s brilliant 😂👍🏻
Thanks for the suggestion. I trimmed the strays my pulling on them with my fingers. Just enough to keep the hairs out my mouth.
Down to earth process, realistic approach with great finish. Nice one.
Hey! Appreciate it on this one ✌🏻
Can’t afford an electric trimmer at the moment, thank you Boss🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
I’ve never thought about brushing mine down like that when trimming and damn it helped a lot lol
I really dont appreciate much but.. You owe an applause for helping me out.
Great tip.
awesome to hear!!! Let me know if you need any more help
always been nervous trimming my mustache especially when I could only find videos that lop half it off and call it a "trim." Thanks for the guide man

Very helpful, even for a dumb nut like me, thanks bro.
Awesome to hear! Let me know if you need help with anything else ✌🏻
Daniel Barnes haha just back from the bathroom and a successful trim up. Looking and feeling sweet mate. Thank you.
Wow, that’s awesome!! Love that this video is a couple of years old (I think) and is still helping people!
Great mustache trimming tips. Your mustache is spot on to mine. I’m always amazed on how fast mustache hair grows.
Salud!

Beardster Beardcare 6-7 months - wow that is disciplined. I don’t have that kind of patience with mine.
You'd be surprised if you stopped focussing on the Moustache each day buddy
Beardster Beardcare note to self...😉
Just used this video and it helped a lot
Hey Zachary, that’s awesome to hear!
This video is really helpful. Please make more videos on moustache.

I do miss this style :)
Helpful video. Thanks!

some cutting scissors for hair seem to be a little bit less specific for left or right but good shout there
I prefer trimming my moustache with chainsaws
Who doesn’t?
You don't have moustache Khan bro 💀
Top Daniel; thanks from Brazil.💈🇧🇷🧔👏👏👏
No worries my man 👍🏻 thanks from the U.K.

How about using an electric trimmer???
100% you can do that. I’ll be doing a video soon on that.
@@Beardster I also do so,but the prob is handlebar moustache turns into handlebar mullet

I'll be making more going forward! One goes live soon and I'll be posting every Sunday.
with this style of beard, do you trim the mustache to end above the top lip or to end where the two lips meet?
That's down to personal preference for sure Habib.
Your voice is so awesome....
😂 thanks 🙏

Had a mustache in high-school then was clean shaven for 5 years but my new mustache too long and gets in my mouth with eating.
Thanks Daniel is really helpful

Dude - I made this video so long ago I can barely remember it.
I'll make a refresh of it soon.

I only snapped out of it when my wife said look, If I cant notice it without you pointing at it, no one would🤣
This is exactly how I need to cut mine.its all wild and shit.
Don’t know why I’m here as I can’t grow one 😂
When you say vis and fickness do you mean this and thickness .
I’m sure you’re the life of the party
Why is he speaking like Alfie Solomsons in peaky blinders?😂
Man, I’ve not watched Peaky Blinders!!! Going to have to TH-cam this to find out 😂
Awesome...Hindu-India likes facial hair
Thanks 🙏
Thanks a lot :D

Thanks Bruno :D glad to have you here :)
it is annoying when the hair touches your lips
It can be at times. I’ve got a longer stache that comes over the lips and with a bit of training and styling, I barely notice it.
