- The John P. Grace Memorial Bridge between Mt. Pleasant, SC and Charleston in the early 1990s. This bridge dated to 1929, and was torn down in 2005 after the completion of the Arthur Ravenal Jr. Bridge. The Grace Bridge carried southbound traffic on U.S. 17. The 1966-built Silas N. Pearman Bridge adjacent to the left in this video carried northbound traffic, with a single lane of southbound traffic to handle the trucks the Grace Bridge couldn't.

they were pretty awful, you can tell they were built to the minimum good of their times
