Replacing The Blades On The MTL XC7T Brush Cutter!

The Bushings have worn down enough that the blades are hitting the side of the attachment. So time for brand new ones! This is a fun job to do. It’s really cool to compare the old hardware to the new ones! Hope you enjoy the video!

I’m not sure I didn’t keep track of the hours from the last time I replaced the blades.

They claim it’s a 30 minute job. Sure doesn’t look like 30 minutes!

I can not get mine off..maybe i need a more powerful impact.

Yeah there pretty tight. My dewalt is 1/2 inch drive it has some torque

@@weightbuilddig166 have you tried to sharpen blades. And how much did new ones cost. I have the same cutter but in orange. I live in Texas

I never did sharpen mine. My bushing on one blade was always so worn it forced to put new blades on.

When I bought new ones they cost $500.
