Ok, every single time the video cuts to Ashen's waffle maker, its way funnier than i was expecting and laughed every single time. The editing is on point.
This really felt like a Linton-edited video and I wasn't wrong. Frankly, this felt just a like a Barshens video minus the crew purely because of the editing.

I feel sorry for Stuart's girlfriend, it sounds like she was happy they had a waffle maker. I think he will have to very quickly buy a replacement after these experiments, although it is good to see Barry and Stuart together again even if it is a socially distanced visit :-)
This really demonstrates how much Barry has learned from running this channel for years. The contrast between him and Ashens is great, especially since Ashens normally plays the more competent Straight Man.
I think watching an otherwise bright person muck up things that Barry manages so effortlessly really demonstrates just how good Barry has gotten at cooking.
I'm loving this, but it's kinda surreal too. It's not merely a Bashens video: it's like partially an MVK video and partly an Ashens video. And man, what a rollercoaster that was. I was not expecting such a break-neck twist at the end!
If you don't like a Pot Noodle because of how Soupy it is, follow this advice; Do not fill to the line, fill until you just cover the noodles and everything is submerged. Do not wait 2 minutes, wait 15 minutes. This gives sufficient time for the noodles to absorb the water, leaving it coated in a rich dense flavourful sauce that's not washed out by the water. If you ensure the pot noodle is covered well in that time, it will stay hot.
OK so I literally did this to my own waffle iron. I took ground chicken made it into a circular shape in battered it in waffle batter. Then I put it in my waffle iron. I called it chicken and waffles. Boom! You’re welcome Barry feel free to do that in Your next video.
This video isn't so much "will it waffle" as it is "is there a difference between a good waffle iron and a terrible one", and the answer is consistently "yes"
@@mickobee Barry has a Salter branded waffle maker. Ashens has a Sensio Home one. There may be some user error involved, but it has shown the difference between the brands/models.
I know this is only distanced because of the evil rona...but I kinda want more of this style! Especially with the top tier editing, it was even more hilarious than normal!
My favorite waffle iron meal is tater tots & cheese. You kinda make a grilled cheese sandwich- one layer of tater tots, a layer of American cheese, then another layer of tater tots.... Cook for 3-5 minutes. And you can also use frozen onion rings with or instead of tots!
I put various Thanksgiving leftovers in my new waffle iron, which has removable plates. It worked, but some of it made such a mess, I'm still cleaning the thing, cause I had to take it apart...

Anytime I have a sticky mess on the waffle iron I fold a thick paper towels to fit on the plates. Add a little boiling water just enough to dampen and close... don't latch. Leave for a day & the gunk comes off.
I have to say, I really like the inversion of Ashens' negative effort spam nuggets coming out better than Barry's molded waffle coronary. Also, you might be able to get the pot noodle waffles to work with less faffing about with a baking dish by adding some sort of binder. A soft to medium boiled egg is a traditional condiment for proper ramen, so I'd say beating an egg or two and mixing with the pot noodle wouldn't be off-key. Would also help dilute the saltiness a bit.
I love the "Will It?" videos, the 2 of you together are amazing. But this was another level, it is very rare I am actually laughing out loud spraying drink out my nostrils but that was hilarious.
Feels to me like you have proved that Barry is definitely better at operating/adapting stuff for a waffle maker.. and that flip.. genius! 🙂.. ooh and loving the new look stu!
Does anyone know why Stuart shaved his head? I can't get used to it he looks so different. Also although i loved this and it made me laugh it was sad not seeing them together, i'm so used to the banter and laughs they have and this was so strange with them not being side by side.
