Funnily enough, the Night Sentinels themselves shared the same confusion at the inclusion of the Chainsaw in the Doom Slayer's arsenal, but they admitted that it was the warrior's skill that made the weapon work above all else. Also, it's nice to see that the power of the Combat and Super Shotgun's shells is stated in-universe to be able to hold their own against super-heated plasma and gauss-driven projectiles.
Doomslayer would be an unstoppable Titan in destiny 2 and possibly the only one that doesn't devour crayons.

I’ve loved this series of doom lore so far. Oh and when you are looking to close the series out please do a path of the doom slayer episode. Like maybe look into the origin of the doom slayer and talk about how it goes from Doom-2 to 64 to doom 2016 to eternal and how this was all started by the doom slayer loosing a bunny. 😂

the blade of the Crucible is actually the contained world of the crucible in destiny 2, its destructive might is generated by thousands of near immortal para causal beings called Guardians slaughtering each other on mass. some might call it the Sword logic.
