For Xiaomi/Redmi Phone: How to power-on without using POWER button
Tested on Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G, also Redmi 5 Plus/Note 4X.
When phone is Power OFF:
Press and Hold VOL-UP button, Insert USB Power cable, to enter Recovery Mode.
With Reboot option selected, just WAIT, the phone will reboot in around 4 minutes.

Oh God!!!! Can't even explain how it feels to be able to finally see the lockscreen of my phone!! This actually works!!! Worked for my Redmi Note 5 Pro, it took me a little more time than 4 minutes, so people don't lose hope if it doesn't start immediately.

My situation is the same as yours but (my phone is 100%) when I click and hold the vol-up botton it doesn't work and everytime I put the charger in the phone it keeps showing the logo and how much battery is my phone

3 years later and YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!!
My power button has become less reliable recently, eventually dying, but the power button's fingerprint scanner still worked. So I just used that to wake my phone and double tap the screen to put it to sleep. I didn't worry about it. But today my phone ran out of battery and it suddenly occurred to me that I can't turn it back on again!! Oops! This video sorted me out, so thank you.

Hi, thank you! Worked also on a Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite. After the first turn on (Vol Up Pressed) I got a "Unkonw command" message, I waited for 4 minutes and the phone started! Great!

@@mxrcuriie5783 im late but if it's stuck in fastboot loop you can either try the same thing as shown in the video or try holding the volume up button with the power button simultaneously for some time, that should help restarting your phone!

100% it works. Thank you soooo much. My sister's phone is MI A2 and the power button was completely not working. Suddenly the phone got switched off and this video helped us alot. It didn't ask me with any option when I kept pressing the volume up button and connected the charger, it just showed me no command. I left my phone 3-4 min on rest with charging and it got up automatically.👍

yes, same step for my MI A2. shows 'no command' and android logo. then after 2-3 minutes, phone restarted normally.

For those who have problem with pressing power up button and connecting charger , after mi logo appears, battery indicator comes and nothing Happens, use usb cable charging from your laptop instead of charger connected to a power socket this helped continuing with the process mentioned in the video
But for selectiny reboot button I need power button ? And my power button os not working
@@pankajagarwal1879 you don't need to press power button just wait for few seconds or minutes and it will automatically starts reboot as shown in this video

@@allistersupetran9716 first step is press and hold the vol button and simultaneously connect usb(if charger connected to power socket is not working) .. if vol button is not working in your case I don't know what to do here.. if vol up button is not working try vol down button if both are not working means then i don't know

I just did as in the video then waited for 4 minutes and 40 seconds and my phone turned to normal.. you just don't have to press/choose anything at the choice given.. you just have to wait without doing anything!! And my data in my phone didn't lose! Thanks god i don't need to go to a store to repair my phone :))

IF anyone's stuck in FASTBOOT MODE THEN:-
1:- let the phone's battery drain completely and wait for it to switch off (in my case it took me more than 1 day)
2:- Once Switched Off Plug The charger And Press Volume Up Both At Same Time And Enter Recovery Mode
3:- Follow The Video Rest And U Are Good To Go

if you are stuck in Fastboot you can just use the command "fastboot reboot" on command prompt. Just need ADB & fastboot installed

thanks bro, i remembered that if my phone shuts down ill need to plug it into pc and press volume button. forgot which it was supposed to be and pressed down. Stupid. now im stuck waiting for that 1% do drain with only fastboot text lol
btw, im also furious that 1000+$ phone would have a power button break in 2 years.
