Rn5 is my back up phone now, i was forced to buy a new phone because of this issue. But ever since i bought it back in 2018, it already has this power button problem and eventually the power button stopped working so I was always anxious about its battery life or accidentally shutting it down. For about two years or so this phone has never been fully shut down! Today i restarted it, using the accessibility button, and it got stuck in the spinning loading screen! So I tried this method(first) and sure enough it freaking worked! Glad it's a notch type that you don't need a heat gun or hair dryer. So weird that after 4 years, it's working like it's a brand new phone! 😂

That 4 coper pin on motherboard connect to flex cabel is only 3 in my case (one broken or missing) what to do know i dont even know what that part is called what to do now....

the button was sticking out so I put very very thin cello tape on it and attached it to the frame now it's perfect. thanks.

also I cleaned the button pad with isopropyl alcohol ( detol hand sanitizer) and earbud q-tip and then dried it. works the same. very good video. subscribing.

1st method worked on mine as well. I endured months. Even downloaded an app that manually restarts my phone if I need. Was avoiding the battery to go empty as it's very very difficult to turn on. But this video helped me fix my power button and it's working perfectly again.

dude i had my redmi note 5 pro ever since it came out and i finally managed to open the back case after using my blowdryer on max heat setting to get rid of the strong glue.
I even had to buy a iSesamo knife to open up the phone lol
Your power button fix is amazing, the power button finally works and I don't need to use fingerprint and accessibility settings to turn off and turn on my phone. Thanks
