#DoctorSlump has a great story & a good balance of drama and romantic comedy. I haven’t watched kdrama for quite some time because nothing satisfied my interest. But Doctor Slump came and fell in love with it. Their acting are very good especially the lead actors #ParkShinHye & #ParkHyungSik . The couple has amazing chemistry & acting. I cried & had tons of laugh. Whoever says it’s not good, or silly just don’t understand the story & the art of comedy. These two leads really rock it! And the story has its own depth as it tackles depression and PTSD.
I second that. My thoughts exactly. To some this drama is "boring" because well, there's no rich guy falling in love with a poor girl. To me those type of dramas are long overdone and completely unrealistic. Dr. Slump depicts the reality of life, especially the pressures and stress of a medical professional. I'm a medical professional, so I can relate exactly to how the characters feel.
Those who think its silly are clearly not understanding the gist of the story. Its a story depicting mental health and healing from mental health. It was an absolutely well written story and extremely relatable to what medical professionals experience on daily basis. I can relate being a medical professional myself.

Really enjoying this drama, thought everyone handled their roles well, I know it might seem kind of quirky, or kind of silly but it’s a comedic drama. Park hung sik excels at this type of role!
I loved Doctor Slump. Jeong Woo and Ha-neul were very good at it as a couple and as actors, Hying Sik and Shin Hye. I am an avid Shin Hye fan and I also adore Hyung Sik now after Doctor Slump.
I really miss Doctor Slump. It may not be other's cup of tea, but still, many of use found it relatable and its issues applicable to many of us. I am thankful for the pairing of Shin Hye and Hyung Silk. They have great chemistry and their character are totally green flags in any relationship.
For a medical centric drama dealing with depression, it is too sweet to the point of giving diabetes to viewers. And 2nd lead couple here is treated with less screentime then side characters.
It is actually pretty ok I had the same feeling about doctor slump but then I continued it is like typical dramas getting trauma from a white truck etc. But it's not as bad as you described it. it is a good drama I recommend for first time drama watchers
Why did I watch this? It ruined the last two episodes of "Dr. Slump" for me when I now know the F/L is married to some other guy and is a mother. Now I know why the M/L and F/L never or rarely kiss and or hug.
@@sarangparkshinhye a lot of tears, superficiality, and isterica in the behaviours of the characters! But it is the opinion of the one who are conscious of the humans cruelty during the Ukrainian genocide and the passivity oh others! But if the intention is a parody, it’s ok!

This series has no intention of making a parody of any political issue but rather to depict that it is ok to have mental health problems and that it is not a stigma to have PTSD, depression, or burnout and that there are treatments available for mental health. I am a medical doctor myself, and I heavily applaud how the writers try to depict such a heavy topic in a lighthearted and palatable manner. Unless you are a doctor or health care worker of any sort, you cannot empathize the daily pressures and stress of work as someone's life is in your hands and one wrong move can potentially kill the person. It is worse when you try your best and your patients do not appreciate your work, and most of all, try imagining how difficult it is to tell someone they do not have much time left. All these issues can eventually mentally break down the strongest of people. Despite all the troubles in this world and with all the daily stress that comes with life, is it wrong to cry when we aren't happy? Is it wrong to laugh when we can find even a minute of happiness in our daily lives when there is more unhappiness in this world than happiness?

Love Dr slump it’s not supposed to be an in-depth view on Doctors it’s just a light hearted rom com . Yes it’s sweet so what’s the problem with that

I started watching Doctor Slump but could not continue. I found it silly.
It’s stupid. 2-3 episodes of sweet nothings. I felt so cheated. 😊

It is an affront to dignity and profundity of the profession of doctor, the characters are infantile and superficiale for one professor and doctors!
I would like to know how it's an affront to the dignity of a doctor and professor? Can a doctor and professor not suffer from mental health issues?
