That's horrible! I've been watching Sulli's series Jinri Market. The way knetz went after that lovely woman for having a voice and just trying to be herself makes me sick. She tried so hard to fight against it but they were relentless. The harsh judgement and treatment needs to stop.

That's sad. Sad she thought that she had to wear that type of a dress to make a statement in the first place....not sure what type of statement she was trying to make? Very sad though that a bad fashion choice could derail your career as an actor. I hope people don't try so hard to be naked because it's hasn't been bold since the 70s and enjoy an actor for their acting. The rest is all fake bs.

Moon Gayoung's one was a bit jarring. They should've made the lower half at least a skirt instead of underwear and if they were going to do a bra, at least get something that fits. Also have a jacket over it. It was not flattering in the least. Doyoung's jacket would've fit that style perfectly.

    • @challagundlarkvprasadarao9937

Atleast shorts would have been better but they straight up made her wear bra and panty and calling it an outfit is disgrace to such a high brand . Its not a lingerie fashion show atleast. All men at the show are covered well and why does gayoung need to be so skimpy. She looked uncomfortable no matter what people say she is confident or sexy or whatever , its pure injustice and objectification of women under the name of brand contracts. They should include a clause regarding negotiating the outfits that are inappropriate for the actors image .

it's just truly sad that of the serious social issues Korea has- netizens are always the first to be so shallow and bully celebrities for being real. Look at just about any award show across the world with pop singers or move/drama actors and all are dressed to show off or even be paid to wear a designer's clothes. Yet instead of praising someone for how beautiful they look- let's shame them because as a netizen, my life sucks so let me feel good about myself and boost my self worth by tearing down a celebrity for what they do or what they wear because i can do it by hiding myself online and i have power (so delusional). You would actually feel better by praising someone for what they achieved or how good they looked. Because I have yet to see any awards show in any country where the famous actors or singers don't wear something to get noticed (yet look at all the korean dramas and movies where girls and women wear such provacative or such short short attire that they can't even sit properly- but that's ok). That is what the fashion industry is- to get noticed but nope we are going to bully someone instead, even if it cost them their career or worse- their life. truly a sad world we live in

And then Lady Gaga's meat dress LOL I don't know about anyone else but I automatically thought of hot pot and bbq. LoL anyways, asian countries are behind when it comes to "women's empowerment" . Culturally Asian countries are more conservative and teach at a young age, females are not to be seen, not bring attention to one self, and not be heard. It is mostly implied but rarely said. I had to deal with that and I hated it. But then again I was always rebelled and was the "blacksheep" in the family and still am. 😂😂

If dressing like that is empowering then why don't men? why haven't they dressed like that when they were in power in society? I don't think it's truly empowering might make you feel sexy and that is a nice feeling for many that can make them feel confident but confidence is not to be confused with actual power. Men in society don't need to be beautiful and sexy and show a bunch of skin to be powerful, they are ceo's and politicians, you know people with real tangible power. Not to mention at what point does these kind of clothing become objectifying?
Idk... the whole thing feels just like some patriarchal ploy to get women to sexually objectify themselves and appeal to the male gaze by convincing them it's empowering... Even when women are criticized by men for dressing like this I think men still benefit from it, they just like to be mean to women and they will take any chance to put them down.

Man and we have different bodies and boundaries. Naturally we aren't equal. And the encouragement from fans pushed these things so much. They will serve whatever people will eat. So that's why revealing or should I say vulger dresses are becoming more frequent. Anyway my comment is a general comment. Anyway it were women who decided to hide their breast. Not men. Because carrying baby on the back was hurtful and doing it from the front was more helpful. Breast weight caused back paint but a bra can help to reduce it. Exposing breasts can make nipples dirty thus babies breastfeeding would be in risk. Because of these reason women themselves decided to protect their breasts for health benefits. That's how it became our private part because we decided to. And then it got releted to decency to stop people from going through the same problem as women from ancient period. Many of these dresses showcase how some things are considered ok in some cultures, while other cultures are more conservative and find them an issue. Like many dresses in the video are in line of what we see on red carpets in western countries, and tbh i wouldn't even bat an eye to them because i'm so used to see similar styles today. Additionally, what is the most interesting is how times have changed; the "too revealing dresses", that looked ok to me (from a western perspective) in the mid 2000 were just ahead of their time imo
I guess a further discussion is also about how women present themselves. Some say revealing the body is powerful and shows a womans (natural) beauty wheras some might say it's sexualizing.

I don't see anything wrong with any of these dresses or clothes. People should grow up.

Dålig stil att trycka ner o säga dåliga saker om hur de klär sig. Sen tycka om deras filmer o serier.
Så låt dom vara ifred o leva sina liv inklusive klä sig som de vill

Still the worst one is the people who criticised them. I don't really care for the revealing part but I'm just saying if you want to reveal it better be a pretty dress.

People sure are over sensitive and hyper judgemental. Netizens are actually nobody's with their own little personal opinions. So what if the dresses are revealing. Stop holding stars to such high standards. They can't meet Everyone's expectations. After all, they're only human. And we all make bad choices sometimes. Korean standards are unrealistically high and superficial.

I wonder how much netizens would question gaga outfits back in 2011-1014 (all of the actresses looks stunning yall just got beef with the way they dress, and some of them dont even deserve death threats js because of the outfit they wore :((

The fact that women are policed about their sartorial(and other) choices so damn much. It is no one else's business, but here we are.
