She probably just gets fixated on one person at a time. When she does this emote to male characters, it's a marriage certificate. When the opponent isn't playing a male character, it's something else. The paper changes.

Only person beside nago she talks about marriage was the dead rock guy but at same time she said she was force to do that by her mother. And Nago the only male character she calls special. And on her arcade story when she see him on the first stage she runs off to get the marriage certificate. It’s a misconception by male fans she once’s to marry every dude she see. When Nago is only male character heavily apart of her story. Faust has a small apart because his apart of Nago story. They even team up and fight Faust together every character that teams up with female in this game has some love or like relationship. I would not be surprise in the next game they are married and have vampire/gear hybrid kid

Sorry to break it to you buddy but Nago x Elphelt is not real. First off, the only reason that interaction exists is because Nago is the arcade boss, what also backs up this claim is the fact that as soon as Elphelt bumps into Faust she's already ranting and fantasizing about having a family. Secondly, she flirts with every male character in her taunt, Nago is no exception but she doesn't say anything special to him that emphasizes their relationship Lastly and most importantly, the recently added A.B.A's arcade mode literally confirms that Elphelt is indeed still searching for a husband. Her lines include: "the two of you walk your own, endless wedding aisle! I'm sooo jealous!", "One day, I'll find my other half and we'll sparkle just like you two!" So you see, it was just her dragging a serious character like Nago into her goofy antics, the dynamic is funny but the ship isn't canon.
