The comparison with the phone screen is really helpful. Other reviews don't take so many approaches to make the actual surface come across, again, it's really helpful! Thanks!
hi, in regards of input lag, feeling of aiming, of course you use roller, but if you played a bit with mouse, which do you feel it's more accurate, this or g6? Ty!
which one would you prefer: MSI MPG271 QRX QD-OLED or this one? 360Hz vs 240Hz doesn't matter for me in this scenario
Great to see a glossy WOLED option for those folks. I personally prefer a matte OLED monitor since I don’t like gaming exclusively in pitch darkness 100% of the time (hence why I returned my MSI 321URX). Gaming with windows open is very relaxing.
Yes options are awesome 🔥
I’m in the same boat, I like having natural sunlight fill up my studio so to me Matte is more versatile. This is probably why Samsung went with a matte coating on the new G80SD.
But if you’re someone who always games or uses computer at night, then glossy is FIRE 🔥
Do you think this monitor is better than AW3225qf? Today they are almost at the same price.
How is the flickering?
is this monitor out yet ? how did you get it ?
Can u tell me what is that wallpaper name in engine ? tnx
What about 8 bit?! You left the monitor at 8 bit, if you enable 10 bit how much, if any, of refresh rate you'll lose?
Glossy WOLED is much much better than glossy QD-OLED, you don't have the magenta ting and raised blacks when used in bright environment. Nice review man! How is the HDR brightness compared to LG 27GS95QE?
I agree 🔥 completely forgot to point that out 😅
Only thing though is to be cautious about lighting and sunlight positions.
As for comparing the HDR to LG 27GS95QE, it’s hard to say unless if I had them side by side
I heard the text in WOLED is very blurry compared to QD OLED
@@mdzavaid118 Yeh the text is bad, but you can mitigate it by disabling clear text and scale to 125/150%. After these steps it looks much better. I hope the new RGWB layout will fix the fringing issues on the 1440p displays.
Great video!
Could you please help me to make a good choice?
I'm building a gaming rig and looking for a QHD 27" monitor. However, I'm not sure which one is best. Could you please advise?
I'm considering three models now. However, I'm not good at that. So, I'd appreciate it if you could advise me on any other options.
1. ASUS Rog Swift PG27AQDM, which is OLED matte for $1,020.00.
2. ROG STRIX XG27AQDMG, which is OLED glossy for $730.00
3. ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS, which is IPS matte for $310.00.
I use a MacBook for everyday work with a glossy 14" screen, and I really like it. That's why I'm looking at the ROG STRIX XG27AQDMG for $730. However, I have some doubts about this choice, and here are the reasons.
1. Cost: It's quite expensive. My RIG would be RTX 4070 paired with i5-12400. The total cost of the rig is about $1,700.00.
2. I was told today in a store that I won't be able to play games longer than 1 hour. The reason is that despite the great colors, it would be hard for my eyes.
3. I always play with the lights on. The window is on the right side, not behind me. Will it cause some inconvenience at night or during the day? At night, I use minimum light. The light is not behind my back.
If it's true and it's hard for long gaming (2-3 hours), then we have another two models. ASUS Rog Swift PG27AQDM (Oled matte) for $1,020.00, and ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS, which is IPS matte, for $310.00
Again, OLED matte PG27AQDM costs $1,020.00, and I'm unsure it's a good choice due to the cost. At the same time, it's matte, and I'm afraid the colors won't be as good as they could be on a glossy screen.
The last option is the $310.00 IPS matte ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS. It is much more convenient. Are the colors much worse on IPS? I'm using a MacBook Pro 14, which has an IPS glossy screen, and I like it.
I'm planning to play 3-4 days per week. As it won't be everyday gaming, I don't want to waste all the money on it, and at the same time, I need nice results.
Also, the ASUS ROG Strix XG27ACS has a USB-C port, which I can use to connect my MacBook if I have to work at home.
I'll be glad to hear your answers!
thoughts on LG 27GS95QE vs 27-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 vs ASUS ROG STRIX Glossy OLED XG27AQDMG? My new apartment is going to have a huge amount of sunlight throughout the place. Should I go with the matte finish on the LG/Samsung rather than the glossy ASUS?
In mw3 did you play with HDR
what do you prefer this monitor or LG 27GS95QE-B ? You have tried both of them
Prefer 27GS95QE-B for its matte coating, more versatile to use during the day.
However if you’re going to be using it exclusively for night time and/or prefer having a dark room, then this glossy monitor is better for that
@@FIREWOLFTECHfor image quality?
has anyone found the vesa mounting screws? my unit doesn't have any. and normal m4's dont work.
You need to use the VESA mount adapter 2:12
With that, you’ll be able to mount it easily with 100 x 100
@@FIREWOLFTECH you misunderstand what i said, the screws that mount that adapter to the arm are not present lol its just the adapter with no way to hold it to the floating arm it has 4 screw holes for this purpose but it didnt come with any screws so i have non that fit this adapter for the monitor
do you think the lg27gs95qe brightness can keep up with the brightness of this monitor? especially during daytime usage
They both use the same exact W-OLED panel, the difference is the coating, so during daytime use, the LG27gs95qe does a better job at making it better to use.
But during the night, this one looks better
Hello
Would this monitor be superior compared to the new LG 27GS?
Sure that are worlds
What do u think about burn in ? after 3 years we could face the issue about it .
I honestly wouldn't worry about burn-in. OLED tech has been out for a long time, and almost every type of device is switching to or already has switched to OLED. Especially with all the built-in OLED protection features, I think it'll last for years !
Where do you find those awesome wallpapers?
Wallpaper Engine (via Steam) 🔥
@@FIREWOLFTECH I figured it out just yesterday! It's pretty cool stuff
This looks incredible, I’m waiting for 32” 4K, but I definitely want WOLED.
That would be an incredible combo 🔥
if i were to ask you , please give a single word answer for, " Which is better, ROG STRIX XG27AQDMG OR ALIENWARE 360Hz WZ2725DF " what would your anwere be?
XG27AQDMG (personal preference)
@@FIREWOLFTECHIs it the quality that surpasses or the performance
how bad is the vrr flicker?
Asking the real question. I don't get why monitor reviewers never talk about VRR flickering.
will high refresh rate work with amd graphic card?
It should work depending on the game and graphics settings ofcourse
Now you can watch outside while you game. I honestly dont understand why folks have such a hard on for glossy screens. Now you have to control light and game in a dungeon.
Spend all that money to make concessions.
Exactly !
There are pros and cons for glossy, and that is a trade off in reflections.
I can see why glossy is better than matte in darker settings, just gotta be in a bat cave 😅
But it’s still great to have choices 🔥 if I was gaming exclusively during night time, I’d want this
Contrast looks much better in a bright environment with a glossy screen.
$499.00 would be better price
Super Glare!
