It's like Sony took the negatives of both the MCU being too formulaic and the DCEU with it's lack of coherence and connection and mushed them together to the point that they've dug themselves into a hole so deeper, it's easier to get out the otherside then it is to climb back out
The whole Sinister Six thing is just so funny to me. It's clearly just one of those ideas some producer had (gonna go out on a limb and say Avi Arad or Amy Pascal) and just leaned into obsessively despite nobody else really being into it, like Kevin Smith's story about the giant spider in a Superman movie. Like it's obviously something they came up with in the wake of the success of The Avengers, because they looked at a list of Marvel properties they could use for a team and said, "Ooh, Avengers but bad!" But a decade's passed, the market's changed, every other cinematic universe attempt has flopped, Sony's Spidey spinoffs continue to be a punchline, the general vibe on the Sinister Six movie continues to be, "Really? They're still trying to do that?" and yet they still press on.
Except no other company has even tried to make a cinematic universe. DC spat out one origin movie and then went straight to civil war with BvS. Then rebooted. Then rebooted again. Sony just did Venom, then did Morbius, and didn’t even try to connect them other than a joke or two. Like imagine if Thor never went to earth, the MCU did Thor 2 and 3, then did civil war and expected you to know who all the avengers were and have us watch them fight for two hours without any added explanation.

Chameleon is already confirmed and casted in Kraven, it seems like he'll be important in the movie since the movie seems to be some kind of a family drama with everyone in the Kravenverse
Yeah, my guess is that Chameleon is going to be the centerpiece of the Sinister Six movie, just like Loki was for Avengers. Ironically Chameleon is Kraven's brother and they hate each other because Chameleon is the black sheep of the family that keeps tricking others with his schemes and impersonations, just like Loki and Thor.
Ending scene idea: Garfield:Peter DOES show up at the very end to help in a rather minor way (maybe apprehending Jameson while the Six are dealing with a Smythe who has lost all grip with reality), but because Spidey's contribution was very public while the Six's was more covert, Spidey gets all the credit for saving New York and THAT is the start of the enmity between everyone and Spidey.
That's awesome! It's just that kinda petty misunderstanding that makes villains so great! Especially a group, they can't all have the same deep philosophical ideals that drive them to band together to destroy Spidey. They're just mad he got their credit cause they're selfish jerks. The reason why Garfield’s Peter could work in the Morbius world? The underlying theme of TASM movies is the mixing of animals with human experimentation to improve human capabilities. Kurt Connors was messing with lizard DNA to bring back his arm(and cure Norman Osborn) Max Dillon became Electro from getting shocked by modified electric eels. Peter Parker got bit by a spider designed with his father’s DNA. The common theme is mixing animals with human. Morbius is literally a guy who’s utilizing the capability of bats to cure his blood affliction.
This would be a best case scenario for me. It could even lend itself to a final bout between Spider-Man (who reappears after he's presumed dead from the Scorpion fight) and the Sinister Six to defend JJJ despite how much they hate each other, referencing some of the tender parts of their relationship from the comics and in the first Spider-Man movies. even better, first scene with spidey is all done from news cameras and cell videos, found footage style, and at the end when he shows back up we get the big reveal as to which spidey we are watching, maguire, garfield, holland... or a new spiderman shows up to fight the sinister six, mah fackin mile morales!

El Muerte is the key to all of this, if we can just get El Muerte to work, because he’s a funnier character than we’ve ever had in the other movies before… I may have gone too far in some places.
I love the ironic timing of Nando releasing a video with a pitch to kind of save this universe right after Sony does a Sony and announces the El Muerto film.
The fact that it takes 13 and a half minutes of a 16 minute video to remotely claw together the canon of whatever universe this is should be indicative of how unlikely it is for this to be conceived by Sony heads, let alone work as a movie.
Sinister Six featuring Monday, Nermal, that duck from those Garfield and Friends farm segments, Binky the Clown, a spoiled serving of lasagna, and the mastermind who brings them all together, LYMAN.
Also, the Vulture that transitioned to the SPUMC was in prison. He had nothing on him. Because he has no identity, he has no money. This world was not invaded by the chitauri, so no chitauri tech exists. We don't know if the Tinkerer exists in this universe, but if so, he doesn't know Birdman. And yet, he ends up with wings that look like his chitauri-tech wings from the MCU. ...instead of simply patenting this revolutionary technology that only he knows about. He could get rich and experiment with finding a way to get back to his daughter.
Since Spidey has so many legacy villains, I'd set up two Six teams with the first being a heroic prequel to setup up things and the second being full-on villains Peter fights.
It’s a shame that Vulture has been snatched up for this because he would be great for Thunderbolts. Someone who doesn’t particularly want to be there but is forced into it to keep his family safe and isn’t quite as villainous as the others.

I had an idea for a spider-man game where you have to fight the sinister six but the ending changes depending on the order you fight them. Each time you defeat one the others get stronger/more difficult. I also had a mechanic where you had to choose what side missions you do (Crime fight/Make Money(Tech)/maintain relationships) and you can only do a certain number of them (i.e. 10 out of 15 total missions).
i really like the pitch, my only drawback being that besides morbius and venom most of them don't have super visible or any superpowers, making it harder to sell the idea that they all fit into a group before teaming up

There was some "sources" according to Forbes that say, Garfield has turned down the Sinister 6 movie role and subsequently, they'll be rebooting SpiderMan again, in the sony universe... Ikr.
The hilarious part is that they’ve already done a cinematic Sinister Six in Edge to the Spider-Verse. And then again in the MCU with No Way Home. And before you say “There were only 5! Not 6! 5 isn’t 6!”, Peter is the sixth. Like in the Ultimate Six story arc.
Oh also, you could kind of swing it like JJJ or Mysterio are the sixth, since their actions set in motion the entirety of the movie by releasing Spider-Man’s identity then publicly destroying his image

I think the "Sinister Six" should be a references to the most connected villains in the city, like Kingpin, and the others fighting Spider-Man are just brought on for that purpose.

If I were in the weird position of Sony asking me what to do with this Sinister Six movie, my answer would be simple -- do it animated, use Into the Spider-Verse as the base and Jake Johnson's Spider-Man's universe in particular, then use the Superior Foes of Spider-Man as your base. I think you could get a lot of low-key hype behind that. You'd have to change some things around from the comics, probably add more Spider-Man into it here or there, but it's genuinely a story of the Universe of Spider-Man characters that they could do that could be reasonably described as both a "Sinister Six" movie and something I would genuinely want to watch.
I have a pitch of my own, it just completely ignores the SPUMC in order to favor Toomes and McCargan, who are already stablished previous to Venom and Morbius and the former seem much more interesting than the later to see, not to mention that Venom and Morbius are meant to be anti-heroes or whatever, I don't much care about them. NWH already made use of 2004's Dock Ock, so any chance of an MCU version of him is gone, but guess what, we already have a cold-blooded criminal head figure with a moral code of his own and a personal relationship with Peter in Toomes. The plot is very simple, they want to take revenge on Spidey and need to learn to work as a team, but it's mostly focused on the charecters themselves, their powers and the mechanics of it in relation to the problems that they need to solve. Also, Toomes is the veteran mastermind, but we get a battle of egoes between him and Kraven, who, despite having the same goals as the rest of them, likes to improvise and disobey a bit too much and risks putting the operation in a premature end, but luckily the things work and the rest of the crew likes him at first. It starts with a montage of all of them being captured, it downplays a lot of them as we see Spidey taking them down quite easily while having a laugh at them. They're a bunch of goofs with excentric powers, how could any of this work? The whole film takes place in the spider-man prison for spider-man villains (is it Ryker Island? Can't remember the name for sure, sorry) it's a special prison for super-powered folk and we learn a lot about it, how it works and all and how can the six overcome the security system using each of their own skills. We see them taking notes of the prison, the weak spots of it, them crafting their plan and executing it. But we must see it clearly, the audience must understand it, so stuff don't seem like it came out of nowhere, it's like they're solving a puzzle. It ends with them getting out, those who had special gear recover it and those who did not, get it. Toomes gets them to work as a swiss Clock, but, again, Kraven shows to be a problematic member, which ultimately pays off in our sequence, Spider-Man VS The Sinister Six. Sony wants a villains film, let's give it to them, let's show our charismatic, but evil villains gather and grow as a menance to Spider-Man and the whole city of New York. It doesn't need to be complicated or mind-bending cinema, it just needs to work.
They should just make an Andrew Garfield movie based on him and an alternate universe Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone's Spider Gwen) and have this sonyverse sinister six make an appearance as the villains but have most of the movies focus be on Spiderman and Spider Gwen. Maybe throughout the movie this sinister six could even be played for laughs and not be a serious threat, just a bump in the road.

I gotta say this is a very FRESH take on Spiderman and The Sinister Six. I can only imagine the scene where Jameson gave his speech after the presumed death of Spiderman, saying that he ended the menace and now he is coming after The Sinister Six, and they watch from different places as it is broadcasted through the news, the internet, and everywhere just like in NWH I also love the promise that these people are just freaks and not all evil who is being hunted down by the authorities

In recent news, this whole thing can no longer be in the TASM universe. The Kraven trailer has the Rhino and it’s the rhino mutant skin instead of the mech.
I like the idea, but maybe having Andrew's spiderman beat within 1 scene by Jameson, Smithe and Scorpion would leave a bad taste in the mouths of the public who (in majority) have just recently started to like his version of spiderman. You could have Spider-man play more of an active role but not necessarily a main role. Maybe (if we're taking a more fun route) you can have him team up against scorpion and smithe with the 6 in a final battle, and maybe his relationship with the team (the Sinister 7?) makes them all hate him, so you can lead into a Sinister 6 vs spiderman film in future. I also think because we're using Scorpion, Venom, and Kraven, this is a perfect opportunity to de-power eddie by either giving the symbiote to Andrew and then crafting a story around Kraven's last hunt, or giving the symbiote to scorpion and having him appear as a villain to Andrew in a new TASM film.

I do believe that sinsister six movie would take place on earth 120703. Since Morbius does not ask who spider-man is he most likely already heard of him. And it would most likely be a story of vulture forming the sinister six to get back home to earth 199999 and they still do crimes and things but just to get the things vulture needs, where in it seems like betrays them but has a change of heart and take his new 5 friends home with him (with bands to stop them from doing the spiderverse glitch) And that's how we get the sinister six in the mcu.
Imagine El Muerte had a solo movie and he battle an evil El Muerte. This sounds so bad that sony put Spiderman cameos. And in opening weekend they earn $6 Billion. Turns out the spiderman cameo is in the post credit only.

The first Madame We was elderly, but she got succeeded by Julia Carpenter, who has also formerly gone by Arachne, and by Spider-Woman before that. Sony's probably making a movie about her.
I kind of just assumed that when the cured villains were sent back they simply created branching timelines, with one not affecting the others. Tobey and Andrew go back and things still went down exactly the same from the previous movies. Mostly I thought this because I didn’t want anything to get reconned from the movies I liked.
Well, this video has set me up for a massive disappointment when the Sinister Six movie comes out and is inevitably not nearly as well-considered and sensical as this.

Is it really that incomprehensible? Most of the confusion really just comes from the Morbius credit scenes, which are easily fixable.

I love the ironic timing of Nando releasing a video with a pitch to kind of save this universe right after Sony does a Sony and announces the El Muerto film.

The fact that it takes 13 and a half minutes of a 16 minute video to remotely claw together the canon of whatever universe this is should be indicative of how unlikely it is for this to be conceived by Sony heads, let alone work as a movie.
The best villain for a Garfield-verse is of course, Mondays. Perhaps a Monday that will shoot a laser beam into the sky that destroys lasagna.

Also, the Vulture that transitioned to the SPUMC was in prison. He had nothing on him. Because he has no identity, he has no money. This world was not invaded by the chitauri, so no chitauri tech exists. We don't know if the Tinkerer exists in this universe, but if so, he doesn't know Birdman. And yet, he ends up with wings that look like his chitauri-tech wings from the MCU.
...instead of simply patenting this revolutionary technology that only he knows about. He could get rich and experiment with finding a way to get back to his daughter.

I had an idea for a spider-man game where you have to fight the sinister six but the ending changes depending on the order you fight them. Each time you defeat one the others get stronger/more difficult. I also had a mechanic where you had to choose what side missions you do (Crime fight/Make Money(Tech)/maintain relationships) and you can only do a certain number of them (i.e. 10 out of 15 total missions).

I feel like maybe Vulture will trick Venom, Morbius and the rest into thinking Spiderman is evil similar to how Eggman tricked Knuckles into thinking Sonic is evil and pretty much they want to fight Tom Holland's Spiderman or at least Vulture does because he encountered him before but just doesnt remember Peter being Spiderman and obviously him being transported to the Sony universe already shows that its due to the spell Doctor Strange has did to undo everything that happened in No Way Home the plothole is how did he get there when his universe is the MCU that doesnt make sense much but maybe hes been brought there so Vulture wouldnt be able to find out Peters identity again but that wasnt said in No Way Home so it throws people off!

I think the "Sinister Six" should be a references to the most connected villains in the city, like Kingpin, and the others fighting Spider-Man are just brought on for that purpose.

If I were in the weird position of Sony asking me what to do with this Sinister Six movie, my answer would be simple -- do it animated, use Into the Spider-Verse as the base and Jake Johnson's Spider-Man's universe in particular, then use the Superior Foes of Spider-Man as your base. I think you could get a lot of low-key hype behind that. You'd have to change some things around from the comics, probably add more Spider-Man into it here or there, but it's genuinely a story of the Universe of Spider-Man characters that they could do that could be reasonably described as both a "Sinister Six" movie and something I would genuinely want to watch.
I have a pitch of my own, it just completely ignores the SPUMC in order to favor Toomes and McCargan, who are already stablished previous to Venom and Morbius and the former seem much more interesting than the later to see, not to mention that Venom and Morbius are meant to be anti-heroes or whatever, I don't much care about them. NWH already made use of 2004's Dock Ock, so any chance of an MCU version of him is gone, but guess what, we already have a cold-blooded criminal head figure with a moral code of his own and a personal relationship with Peter in Toomes. The plot is very simple, they want to take revenge on Spidey and need to learn to work as a team, but it's mostly focused on the charecters themselves, their powers and the mechanics of it in relation to the problems that they need to solve. Also, Toomes is the veteran mastermind, but we get a battle of egoes between him and Kraven, who, despite having the same goals as the rest of them, likes to improvise and disobey a bit too much and risks putting the operation in a premature end, but luckily the things work and the rest of the crew likes him at first. It starts with a montage of all of them being captured, it downplays a lot of them as we see Spidey taking them down quite easily while having a laugh at them. They're a bunch of goofs with excentric powers, how could any of this work? The whole film takes place in the spider-man prison for spider-man villains (is it Ryker Island? Can't remember the name for sure, sorry) it's a special prison for super-powered folk and we learn a lot about it, how it works and all and how can the six overcome the security system using each of their own skills. We see them taking notes of the prison, the weak spots of it, them crafting their plan and executing it. But we must see it clearly, the audience must understand it, so stuff don't seem like it came out of nowhere, it's like they're solving a puzzle. It ends with them getting out, those who had special gear recover it and those who did not, get it. Toomes gets them to work as a swiss Clock, but, again, Kraven shows to be a problematic member, which ultimately pays off in our sequence, Spider-Man VS The Sinister Six. Sony wants a villains film, let's give it to them, let's show our charismatic, but evil villains gather and grow as a menance to Spider-Man and the whole city of New York. It doesn't need to be complicated or mind-bending cinema, it just needs to work.
They should just make an Andrew Garfield movie based on him and an alternate universe Gwen Stacey (Emma Stone's Spider Gwen) and have this sonyverse sinister six make an appearance as the villains but have most of the movies focus be on Spiderman and Spider Gwen. Maybe throughout the movie this sinister six could even be played for laughs and not be a serious threat, just a bump in the road.
Spider-gwen and Peter Parker aren't love interests tho. Making them romantic would remove a lot of what work with an alternative universe's Gwen Stacy

I like the idea, but maybe having Andrew's spiderman beat within 1 scene by Jameson, Smithe and Scorpion would leave a bad taste in the mouths of the public who (in majority) have just recently started to like his version of spiderman. You could have Spider-man play more of an active role but not necessarily a main role. Maybe (if we're taking a more fun route) you can have him team up against scorpion and smithe with the 6 in a final battle, and maybe his relationship with the team (the Sinister 7?) makes them all hate him, so you can lead into a Sinister 6 vs spiderman film in future. I also think because we're using Scorpion, Venom, and Kraven, this is a perfect opportunity to de-power eddie by either giving the symbiote to Andrew and then crafting a story around Kraven's last hunt, or giving the symbiote to scorpion and having him appear as a villain to Andrew in a new TASM film.

I do believe that sinsister six movie would take place on earth 120703. Since Morbius does not ask who spider-man is he most likely already heard of him. And it would most likely be a story of vulture forming the sinister six to get back home to earth 199999 and they still do crimes and things but just to get the things vulture needs, where in it seems like betrays them but has a change of heart and take his new 5 friends home with him (with bands to stop them from doing the spiderverse glitch)
And that's how we get the sinister six in the mcu.
Still doesn't seem that interesting, we've seen this kind of story done better with Civil War and the X-Men movies

Imagine El Muerte had a solo movie and he battle an evil El Muerte. This sounds so bad that sony put Spiderman cameos. And in opening weekend they earn $6 Billion. Turns out the spiderman cameo is in the post credit only.

The first Madame We was elderly, but she got succeeded by Julia Carpenter, who has also formerly gone by Arachne, and by Spider-Woman before that. Sony's probably making a movie about her.
I kind of just assumed that when the cured villains were sent back they simply created branching timelines, with one not affecting the others. Tobey and Andrew go back and things still went down exactly the same from the previous movies. Mostly I thought this because I didn’t want anything to get reconned from the movies I liked.
Well, this video has set me up for a massive disappointment when the Sinister Six movie comes out and is inevitably not nearly as well-considered and sensical as this.
