I just love Tom Bergeron, he is my favorite AFV host and my favorite Hollywood Squares host, like Drew Carey when he hosted Whose Line, Tom just seems to be a magnet for jokes and can bounce them back easily.

May 16, 2000, as this is from the week of May 15-19, 2000, and Just Shoot Me is said to air on Tuesdays.
The next season, 2000-01, introduced the floor logo, a new intro, and the spotlights around the Squares, then. I didn't know the cats in Whoopi's square were introduced earlier than the 2000-01 season.
I think there might be either tape glitches or a time-compression machine fouling things up here. Some parts seem oddly sped-up and stilted.
I think it was actually GSN speeding it up to add more commercials

Was this from the 1999-2000 season or the 2000-01 season? I'm leaning towards the latter because Whoopi has those cat pictures in her square.
I think it's 2000, but another commenter think this is 1999, but it's 2000.
If this was 2000, then this would be either a B.Y.A. opening episode (they only play a previous season-style opening once a week) or early 2000.

GSN didn’t air Hollywood Squares’ 3rd Season, but they did air the rest
