This board has only one problem. The polycarbonate top case is very flexible, as a result when you install the screws the top case will bend slightly. I don't know if this will affect the sound of the board. But it makes me feel that the design of this board is meant for it to be made in metal, polycarbonate case is just an afterthrought.

@@KIBA1690 By the time there are more of these you will lose interest due to the lack of hype and rarity of it, the same way TGR boards were overhyped before it was made readily available by Monokei. I'm not saying they're not good, but most "hype boards"' value perception are just made out of control by artificial rarity and after market prices.

Interesting...is this going to be another limited GB? I 'won' the raffle for the R2, but PC wasn't an option then. I would have jumped all over it in that case. I really like PC as an option and I have many other colored boards in some form of metal. Would have been nice to have had this back then. Not sure I could justify throwing as much money at another Kohaku though...
Which color did you get in r2? I got the autumn lilac and it's beautiful 😍. Really considering joining raffle for the PC kohaku, but the upcoming one is stainless weight so silver on PC, instead of brass on PC

I used to think like you. Until one day I saw a CNC PC board with brass weight and I picked it up, and it feels really substantial. Definitely not heavy like aluminum boards but at the same time does not feel cheap like regular injection molded abs or PC boards.

Once you go to split backspace you can never go back. \ is far more convenient for backspace, for your pinky to reach.

Could you told me that the Nixies Switches in this VDO were stock or lubed/filmed/break in?
SO i lubed them with 205g0 and added a new spring (62g slow springs) and used Deskey films !
