Great bike. Awesome mods. I can't believe Kawasaki significantly decreased the cost of the KLX300 in 2025. I already considered it to be a good value compared to the competition. I have a G310GS that I bought for old man adventures, but that prompted a buddy who hadn't ridden since the 1970s to buy a CRF300L Rally and he keeps wanting to take us places my little ADV bike might not be comfortable going, so now I apparently need a dual sport bike. I've always ridden small displacement dual sport thumpers so the KLX300 appeals to me.
Thank you for your kind words! As your channel name implies, the KLX is an excellent lightweight choice that would suit your style of riding! For under 6k USD it's quite the machine that will take you to more places than you think! I have had a variety of heavy ADV bikes, KLR 650, R1200GSA, and an F800GSA and this bike appeals to me far more! Your G310gs is a sweet ride and I believe the KLX would be a compliment to your stable, you won't regret purchasing one, cheers!
@@Bikes_N_Adventure - I'm trying not to fall into the n+1 bike trap. I have a friend who has almost 40 motorcycles... taxes paid, licensed, insured and ready to ride. That's nuts! 🙂 I keep looking longingly at the KLX300, but BWM recently announced their F450GS that's the same weight as my G310GS, more off road capable, and 14 HP more for more comfortable highway cruising, not that I spend much time on highways. The Kove 450 Rally and the CF Moto 450 Ibex are also interesting new bikes in the 450 ADV market that is finally emerging after decades of the Big Moto cartel ignoring the pleas of the ADV community and telling us to buy their bloated mid and full size ADV bikes. However, I miss having a small lightweight dual sport bike and the KLX300 keeps calling to me.
Thank you for watching and congratulations on your new bike, the mod journey is half the fun! Here's the link to the levers: www.amazon.com/dp/B0957B6ZPF?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1
Thanks for the walk through! Looking at getting one of these, how vibey would you say this thing is? Is is slight buzz or like put your hands and feet to sleep on the highway kind of thing? Thanks for any input!
Thanks for the comment! The KLX is buttery smooth for a single cylinder bike, at 60mph in 6th it sits right at 6,000rpm, no numbness whatsoever, at 70-75mph you will feel a bit of buzz but nothing unbearable, I have done 40 miles straight highway pushing 80mph and it is definitely acceptable for what this bike offers, around town definitely a nice place to be, hope this helps 😎
I'd say the front tire could be slightly more aggressive, otherwise a blast in the twisties, and holds it's own on hardpack dirt/rocks 60% Street, 40% Dirt! Agreed on the Sag, a couple clicks off of rebound made a huge difference for me personally, awesome bike!
@@user-pp5or5og4k correct, I did that on purpose since I flipped my throttle cables/clutch cable due to having the taller bars and risers, thank you for watching 😎
I CANT BELIEVE I MISSED THIS UPLOAD! Amazing rig bro!!!!!!
Thank you brother 🙏🙏🙏
That’s a nice set up! Looking forward to seeing your KLX videos next season! Liked & Subscribed!
@@redeemedadventures much appreciated! Thank you!
Dang. Looking good! Thank you for sharing!
Dzienki Mama!
Cool looking bike. Very nice. I am surprised you kept the tires, but I guess it depends how/where you ride. Looks great.
Appreciate it! Lots of rocky/loose gravel and wash sections here in Las Vegas, figured I’d get some use out of the tires before upgrading them!

Thanks for posting this! I just bought a 2025 KLX300 and down the mod rabbit hole. Can you link to the clutch/brake levers you installed?

Really nice lookin bike.

What are you thinking about tires??? And the sag setting makes it better I think it is a great bike off-road. The fact it’s street legal is just cool

You didn’t start it? You tease! 😉
My apologies, she's bone stock sound wise lol
Still no fuel gauge? That’s ridiculous in 2025.
Agreed, only a fuel light once about a gallon is left.
@ oh good, that’s better than nothing. What you getting for fuel mileage, about 60-65mpg?
@@airadaimagery692 I’m a heavier/taller rider so closer to 55mpg 👍🏼
My God who really cares. You should know your MPG‘s and just reset your trip A every time
