    A couple of days ago my inner body awareness reached new heights. For around three hours I felt nothing less than bliss and pure love, it was incredibly beautiful and such a relief from my normal anxious brain. Thank you Eckhart.

    Often as a child (starting at age 6-7) I would purposely lay in my families green grass and stare up at the clouds and my mind would be quiet without having any difficulty doing so (probably because I had no worries). I was encased in sunshine, fresh air, and with a sense of deep peacefulness. I have been able to pull from those experiences to this day at the age of 65.

    • @jr6200
      @jr6200 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      How do you "pull" from it now, and with what results?

    • @deborah6085

      @@jr6200 From understanding how to bring forth a mind rest. Probably different for others. For me has been a positive, tranquil sense/space like clouds moving with no thoughts (childhood way), or a blank screen, music, being in a flower garden, positive childhood events to bring on positive mindlessness, repetitive prayer. To bring on a sense of starting afresh, a positive reset, ability to come up with ideas, solve problems, have answers, or most often just for no reason. I notice time becomes not a concern/factor.

      Love this! I've heard that the sense of self doesn't really start to develop much until around age 5/6 so at that age children are living purely in the now, without the constant mind chatter. So what you remember is the pure awareness, the true you. Beautiful

      One time when needing a procedure done by my medical doctor I was surprised and was asked by the anesthesiologist what I would be thinking while he put me under. For me by knowing that having a decreased sense of stress would be the best so I ( and answered him) put myself into a positive mindless way I walked myself into a flower garden with sunshine. I think I surprised the surgical crew.

      The only thing that is appearing to stop you from enlightenment/self-realization/eternal life/knowing yourself to be unconditional love is identification with thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences instead of being aware of being aware and knowing yourself to be that unconditional love pure consciousness in which all thoughts, emotions, sensations, perceptions and experiences appear but are not inherently one with you; they are an expression of unconditional love; you are that infinite that is expressing itself as suffering/pleasure but inherently you are neither; you are that nothing/unconditional love/pure consciousness in which they are appear and by which they are perceived;
      Suffering/pleasure comes and goes; there is an awareness that is aware of them coming and going; that you are; remember and know what you are; never identify with anything that is appearing within you; since it appears within you; it can't be you; you are that in which it appears. When you abide as that in which it appears instead of identifying; nothing has a grip on you; if anything comes; it quickly goes; like clouds passing; only if you identify as a cloud then it will appear as if the cloud is here for longer than it is originally supposed to; if you simply rest as the awareness and do not identify; it will quickly dissolve; be unconditional love by being aware of being aware; this is the highest; this is what you are seeking in absolutely everything else; you are seeking yourself; you are seeking unconditional love; but you are looking outside of yourself; instead of being aware that you already are unconditional love. • @onreact
      @onreact 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      When you argue to be right this will happen most likely, not always but in most cases, but when you argue to find the best solution, then the situation is different. I don't argue to be right. I just try to find out what is the right thing to do in a given moment. When you always walk away you just let other people decide and do the potentially wrong thing on your behalf. Thus being conscious does not mean being an opportunist. It's "arguing for the sake of being right" and "bolstering your ego" you give up.

    • @jamesdodd9916
      @jamesdodd9916 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, but it takes two solution based people in discourse for mutual progress.
      Be aware that the other person might be right tho, and if they seem to have the best answer, take it. Follow it. . As a gift to the other , follow their course of action. If it fails, love them even more.

    • @biljanas7931
      @biljanas7931 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@jamesdodd9916 discussions are not that simple. My mom had strong intuition to take left turn, while I wanted to turn right. We were disagreeing and arguing. What is good for her may not be good for me or...maybe I needed to step up my own intuition. Bottom line, bomb exploded and if we had followed my way, would be hurt badly. There is no right or wrong, but its better with less suffering or preserving life, if matter of life and death. Its not always clear which "solution" is better, but I am glad I was still young so I followed her "recommendations" or rather screaming orders at that time.

    If you've had horrible trauma, this can be very threatening and not helpful at all. I have DID and am slowly integrating. I had over 200 parts, some very distinct. I spent my whole life dissociated and out of my body. Being connected to my body when all of the horrific abuse was happening was too threatening, that's why I had so much fragmentation. People with unhealed trauma can become very overwhelmed when asked to pay attention to their breath and bodies. They can completely decompensate. This very beautiful practice that Eckhart is teaching can be safely learned later, after much work on inner stabilization and inner safety and ability to tolerate body sensations and emotions etc has grown. I love Eckhart Tolle's teachings.

Please consider checking for a TM center near you to get formally introduced to it and & to learn about its scientifically proven effectiveness compared to many other healing methods.
    It has been shown to help with everything from insomnia to PTSD to eating disorders to anxiety. And it requires no specific faith or belief system or level of physical fitness or age. It is for everyone. It is an amazing practice. 💜

    Success starts with you. We must dig deep within ourselves, and first find what we believe to be success. How can we chase something, if we don’t even fully understand what we are chasing.
    I ask you to ask yourself what you believe success to be. Then understand you can make it all happen, by becoming your own version of success, by stepping into the shoes of success.
    What you think about comes about. Your thoughts manifest at the level of vibration at which you respond to your thoughts. If you feel sad, and you take action on your thought in a low vibration, you’ll manifest a sad reality. It’s our job to keep our level of vibrations high, and understand we create our own reality.

      It's not your thougts that create your reality, it's your consciousness that evolves through various states of being ranging from chaotic to harmonic. The states are what attracts thoughts, & it is the fuel we give them with our belief that either holds us in the current state, or allows us to move on. Focused breath, meditation, yoga etc clear distortion in our electrical fields adding coherence to the harmonic spectrum of the heart. Our thoughts have only the power we give them to interfere with our state of being, or add harmony to it. Mooji explains it well as far as "letting thoughts pass like clouds" while remaining as presence, which is naturally blissful. 🙏

    I have tried to use willpower in order to keep myself from thinking when I first discovered Eckhart and it actually brought about intense suffering and a deeply negative thought process that I wasn't "spiritual enough," which was only the ego coming in through the back door when I was resisting thought. The mere exercise of gently laying attention on your inner body is a far more feasible and ease-y way to reclaim energy from your mental energy field. Like Eckhart said, what you resist, persists 💫🙏

    Do not resist being who you are and that is a soul in a body, you have that body with a reason, don't try to reach something out of it because you have it so you could experience all within it. A couple of times a day I give "order" or impulse, you can call it either way, to my being "Every cell of my body loves, accepts and honours my body" while I am saying it I feel the whole body, it brings me back to my body and it helps me to be aware that I can reach my soul, my peace, my real existence only within my body.

    Took me nearly 2 years to learn how to quiet my mind so i could hear my soul speak in the silence... All my unnecessary thinking turned to feelings which helped develope my empathic abilities... People don't even realize I'm not listening to their words, I'm listening to the feelings and getting what i need to know about them from their energy and vibes tbh most don't even understand what it is they're feeling cause they've shut down their emotions because they can't verbalize them t h e n they wonder why they're unable to achieve true happiness which makes me think like really?! You've closed down your emotions b u t still expect to be happy? Ugh 🙄 you can't have positive emotions without having worked thru the negative and defining the difference between the whole range of emotions and feelings that make us human... We are spiritual beings having a human experience... Thank you for the informative video ☺️
