I woke early this morning, alone and troubled. So I decided to listen to Eckhart, knowing it would shift my mind's focus. The very first sentence he spoke made me smile and relax. As I continued to listen I started to feel better. God bless you always, dear Eckhart, and thank you with all my heart. ✨🙏✨

When dealing with "difficult people", they are usually very angry, bitter, unhappy people with no love in them. So if some kind of problematic situation arises with them it's unwise to get angry and hostile with them. They usually love to fight and hurt other people, and they would love to have someone to attack.
If you get into a situation with a difficult person and you say or do anything disrespectful or offensive towards them, they will take that extremely personal, they will label you as Enemy, and they will feel justified in getting revenge against you a thousand times worse than anything you said or did.
They will attack you back not only once, but will attack you over and over and over. Even when you stop fighting back they will keep attacking you until you lose your cool and attack back. They really want you to attack back, and they really want you to disrespect and offend them. The reason they really want you to disrespect and offend them is because then they feel Justified. They will use it as an excuse to attack you yet again and say it's justified, because you just said and did something disrespectful and offensive to them. It doesn't matter that they've been disrespecting you seemingly forever and you didn't disrespect them all that time, now you just did so they will use that as an excuse to say they have the right to abuse you some more and that it's justified and you deserve it.
This is the kind of absolutely exhausting minds that we are talking about. Some people have absolutely miserable minds filled with hatred and ugliness, and they love to drag other people down into their very low levels of consciousness with them into vicious cycles. This is what is behind school bullying and even workplace bullying, neighbor disputes, etc.
There are some extremely vicious and difficult people in the world, absolutely unenlightened and ignorant. You want nothing to do with them and whatever you do, never disrespect or offend anyone. Just keep your distance, stay respectful, and wish them the best. Maybe in another life they will find Consciousness.
      Respect your enemies.

    • @onreact
      @onreact 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

@@RobertF- I like to quote the Dalai Lama on that: "I defeat my enemies by making them my friends". Don't create a worldview based on the dualistic belief that there is black and white, good and evil, friend and enemy. What you call "difficult people" are often people who are in pain, fear and confusion. Thus they lash out.
I have been labelled difficult by others in the past quite often. What they did not bother to ask was "how are you", "what's the problem", "how can I help you". I've been literally in pain, despair and short of a nervous breakdown at such times.
The people who labelled me as difficult had strong egos who were considering everything "difficult" to be bad and to trying avoid it. That's a really selfish way of life. It's often passive aggressive and causes lots of that difficulty you mention above. Solve problems instead of hiding or running away. Ask what the problem is in the first place.
For years I have been difficult because I suffered from chronic migraines. Even my family labelled me as angry or having a bad character instead of inquiring further. They did not even bother to find out about that illness or why I got it (constant stress and being overwhelmed). So don't create enemies and see "difficult people" where there is pain or fear.

I am really thankful to live in such a time as it is now, unsecure, very challange for all of us, now we know how to behave to have the best outcome. If I don t know I listen to him and read THE POWER OF NOW. Thanks Eckhart.
We are connected and Universe is in us, he says that Universe is awaken in every human and every human essential identity is one consciousness. How real is this. Are we aware? I try to listen and be a little bit more aware. It s becoming better, my life is more easy and peacful. Slowly I know and feel this Quantum power in us. I think this is the most important.

Shift in consciousness is certainly what it’s about. The thinking brain processes are continually trying to fix the problems that it created and this is called progress or the response of positive psychological conditioning on which the ordinary world spins. Suffering provides the space in which a hiatus occurs naturally and by remaining unmoved In that space, the ‘what is’ mystery unfolds in and by itself. Krishnamurti referred to this as insight that is not yours or mine. Unfortunately, this is not the wisdom usually taught or passed down by mainstream society, it is certainly found by learning self knowledge.

85% of Humanity has Low Self-Esteem which brings difficulties for everyone they encounter since FEAR is their normal reaction. If I do encountered a being that has Low Self-esteem, Anxiety, Depression, Fear I always keep the conversation at a bare minimum since they don't have the Emotional or Mental Capability to go Deep. I have noticed whenever I'm in the presence of a Strong Confident human Awakened or not there is 0 difficulties 0 Triggers only Direct Communication and Peace.

Lol who is trying? That is putting your personal will into action. "Doing" something. Even that "trial struggle" is a product of the mind, you see. Notice that. Stop trying or more accurately, identifying with the tryer. Your real sense of self isn't really action, but it is the source of it. It is BEING!!! with all that is. Life lives through you, and this difficult person is in your consciousness. How about you just observe, observe, observe. You're always already doing that. You just gotta realize. Blessed be, honey.

“Each individual is an Expression of the Collective Consciousness of Humanity and the Collective Consciousness of Humanity is an Expression of ONE Universal Consciousness”-Eckhart Tolle
You are not an individual; you are part of the vast mind of man.
      When you realise this fact,
You enter into an extraordinary world.
You are the entire humanity -- krishnamurti
You are an image based on experience, a soul mind and an Ego created by that image.
This is a illusionary image created by dreams and ego.
Otherwise; the image is a dead thing -- Jiddu krishnamurti
You are not your mind -- Eckhart tolle
Nor are you nor your mind -- Buddha
You are awareness. Awareness is conscious connection with universal intelligence. Another word for it is presence: consciousness without thought - Eckhart tolle
You are Individual only because of the ego.

It is frustrating at times to not SEE progress on the outside, or know for sure if my future is secure. Our economy feeds on fear of future. Our media feeds this fear. I have had many "lose everything" experiences, each time re-discovering Eckhart Tolle's "Be Here Now." I think I am finally getting it. It's not that you lose it all. You "let go," you surrender. You surrender the past and the fear/worry about future so you can be in the present. So you can be present. So you can be presence. When you are the presence, the consciousness, then creativity comes and it's almost automatic. The natural state we are supposed to be in, all of us is a present, creative, loving state of connectedness. The fear blocks it. The step he/I took (mine most recently, like his, involved a move at a relatively advanced age, to move from Oregon to Israel) was extreme, into the unknown. I had no plan. I believed I needed to move. I did. The move has proved to be inspiring, but I resisted the inspiration itself for the first year or so...why? We humans hate change even though we are change.

The greatest challenge is having and parenting a teenager.
Pain bodies love the drama, the mind thinks it's the greatest opportunity to keep you unconscious, and the selfless acts become twists in the wind.
It's an amazing path towards a deep awakening...
what I have discovered, is in my mostly awakened self my teeny seems to do all she can unconsciously to keep form the depth of consciousness that I so long for.
It would be such a thrill for me to go into depth about this...
and I look forward to us both riding own own waves in the deep sea of oneness.

Really interesting. "Life needs to be a balance between security and risk taking". I will work on this advice. I am much more risk averse, but getting to learn more and let go a bit as I go forward! Getting the balance even tho I feel naturally I will always veer slightly more on the security side ;) Thanks so much again Eckhart for your wonderful wisdom - it always brings me down to earth! X

Eckhart's speech often gets characteristics of stand-up comedy. The joke at 6:30 is constructed in just the way that good comedians usually do... "be safe? is that the main goal when we're on vacation?"... hahaha, the final joke was hilarious, and the same goes for 10:10. Sometimes I think he could serve humanity even better if he had chosen to be a comedian rather than a spiritual teacher.

"Life needs to be a balance between risk taking and security. Accepting the basic insecurity of ALL LIFE - to help one go into deeper Presence. Into the Present Moment."
Moral of the story: there will be unconscious people everywhere & difficulties are a way of Life. It will get lesser as we just accept life as it is and keep evolving:) (make new choices!)

You said one more thing that helped today. Life is insecure, who said I was supposed to feel as if not only that I'll have a place to live in a year or 2, or even for retirement. Shit, we are not promised tomorrow let alone a security blanket that something as mild as financial issues will not be a factor. Life's becoming much easier now that I worry less. I unfortunately have been battling this process, and a tragedy had been part of it all. Finally figuring out who I am. This process is slow.

The thing I worry about the most especially getting older (53) is what will happen to me when I am in my 80’s or older and can’t take care of myself... I have no family or children to help... society can be very cruel to older people and I worry about that... not every day but occasionally this idea trips me up and once I start thinking about it, it’s hard to come out of it...
