I have to say you are extremely kind . People know that it's not easy to care for a paralyzed cat that's why they don't keep them and you care for your cat like a mother. Recently my cat got hit by a car and the doc told me the cat can't urinate on his own I will have to rub him on the belly so he can, that's why I'm watching this. It made me cry so much. I felt so bad. He has a broken jaw and a broken pelvis. It will take time to recover. You are a very beautiful soul. May god bless you.

What a good boy he is and what a wonderful mum you are. My very elderly cat has nerve damage and has progressively been losing mobility. He has a special mew for when he urgently needs the litter tray and I have to hold him up, but today, he urinated twice on the floor and I don't think he realised. I don't think he's in any pain, and the vet didn't think so either. I knew this day would come, where he wouldn't know he needed to pee, so it will be nappies now when he's on the sofa.

Hi! My cat is currently partially paralyzed with hope of recovery. The vet is advising I don't express him even though his bladder is full because he's fiesty and I could rupture his bladder. I'm hoping he'll recover quickly.
In the meantime, he absolutely hates being diapered and keeps escaping them. His bladder has a constant drip everywhere he goes. My room, where he's stayed most of this time, smells strongly of pee, it's been 2 days. How do you manage the pee smell if you're not really sure where all he's peed.

You’re so wonderful! You have absolutely saved these precious babies lives. Please don’t take this the wrong way I’m not being rude at all. I’m sorry but I really think you really shouldn’t be doing that in a kitchen sink at all even if it’s separate and never used with dishes. It’s too close to the other side and everywhere else you prepare food even though it’s in its own bay. It’s super unsanitary. The stuff splashes everywhere. You should really have this in the bathroom…

would there be an alternative aside from doing this? Our cat had a spinal injury 5 days ago and the vet said he can no longer pee and poo on his own. We made him pee by squeezing the bladder but when we massage him to poop, it doesn't work. Please help, we've been desperately trying to search how to help our cat and nothing seems to work 😔

What a good boy! I am thinking of adopting an adult cat that is paralyzed. This would be totally new to me. Is there any products you can recommend? As in wipes, diapers, cloth diapers? Any suggestions would be helpful, thanks!

My friend’s family had a cat like that, and he would poop and peep on his own, but it’s true what you said because I do remember whenever some9ne would accidentally step on him, everything would get so messy! My friend’s mom would always be saying, “Mr. Fluffs! What do you think you’re doing?! Why are you such a messy kitty?” She’d call him her little pig cat! But yeah, it was a lot of work, just like with you, so they eventually got rid of him, or he passed

What kind of diapers do you use? I’m having difficulty finding a diaper system for bladder incontinence that doesn’t leak. He isn’t paralyzed but is unable to walk. Thank you
