I just watched a tutorial video on this topic that shows the guy PULLING the cat by the tail when it jumps down from the table. It made me so angry, especially since pulling a cat's tail will lead to an injury that necessitates the use of diapers! Thank you for sharing a MUCH better way to do this! I'm currently trying to master this skill!

We have covered the lounge area with a waterproof mattress protector so if an accident happens before we have to use the diapers it will not be too much of a big deal. Getting prepared is all. Watching you do this is encouraging to say the least, thanks.
This was great. My cat had to get a catheter put in for a few days and he’s been leaking everywhere 😭 I’ve stuck him in the bathroom for now but hopefully the diaper will let him wander about the house haha
My cat has been having strokes and heart attacks lately and has to wear diapers because he can't make it to the litter box and he has diarrhea making the situation worse in my area newborn sized Diapers with 35 diapers in one pack is 11.37 and sized 2 diapers with 40 in one pack is 8.00 so I have to buy him those this video has definitely itly helped me learn how to properly put on his diapers until he gets better

Very late reply,, sorry. If you are considering this path, please note that you must keep your kitten clean. Ask your vet for cat friendly, genital friendly disinfectant. Diapers are a great way to interact with your incontinent cat. They are not to be left on your cat all day.. It's hard, if not impossible, to keep the cat clean enough to prevent infection. This little guy leaked regularly. We went through a short period of trying to express him, but neither of us really enjoyed that.. He ended up with a playpen with a floor similar to the indoor dog wet boxes. We built a wooden tray 4' x 4' and painted it with porch paint. we used a dog fence to make the walls. We lined the tray with dog training pads, and initially we used drop ceiling light covers (1/2 inch open grid style 2'x4 panels') over the pads with a cheap indoor outdoor carpet from Home Depot that easily let the urine through. Eventually we ended up using woven rubber matting used in gym changing rooms. It helps to have several of the rugs cut so that you can swap them out. The rug was actually easy to throw into the washer. Luke lived with us for almost 4 years.
My kitty is only 10 years old, but she's been diagnosed with a tumor in her spinal cord. Unfortunately the vet can't operate without making things worse. The prognosis is poor. My little baby can't control her pee anymore, nor her poo so the diapers are the only solution. Thank you so much for the demonstration. It's super helpful! 😢
I see other videos where you should put cloth tape over both sides of the hole in the diaper so the gel doesn't spill out because it's an irritant it can cause UTI and it's really messy. Also, no offense but you're wiping him wrong. You should wipe him like a girl front to back and fold it over or get a new one cuz you're just grabbing from the back and then re wiping the front with bacteria. But I do want to point out how gentle and kind and great you are with the cat.

After I cut the diaper, it seems like the inside is filled with some powder that keeps coming out. Anything can be done about this? Should we be concerned about it getting all over the place?
those are the absorbent beads that collect the urine and feces. from what we have seen, there is no real way to prevent that from happening, unless you tape the edges of the hole with duct tape or something but that could be a bigger area for pee or poop to escape through. the diaper is so close to the cat's body that there shouldn't be a lot of spillage when it on the cat, just a few little gel balls here and there. be careful and they shouldn't go everywhere. if they do, just vacuum them up and don't get mad at the cat, it is just one of the risks of having a diapered cat :)
My cat Cleopetra wears nappies due to her forgetting why she is in her litter box, standing there looking as if to say what am I here for, then goes toilet in different places, I've carried her to the litter box but now the nappy is a good solution. At times she becomes a bit dirty so I wash her down, or give her a bath. Because she's disabled I've bought her a pet stroller. Not bad for a 87 year old

Not actual baby powder though, the perfumes in that are bad for cats. Also maybe give him some time while you can watch him closely to not wear a diaper for a couple hours each day so the skin can have fresh air?

My cat will never lay on it's back. Cat claws very sharp, even when trimmed. This will never work for my cat. Running out of options to eliminate my cat (female) peeing on the baseboards.
My cat keeps spraying to mark his territory. I’m not sure if there is something I’m doing wrong to make him start acting out in this way . I’m not sure if spaying him would fix this issue . Is this an option I should consider until I arrive to a decision that works best for both of us?
Spaying usually fixes them marking territory however some cat's will continue due to behavioral problems. I've had many cats before and only 1 continued to mark in a single spot.
That cat's bottom area looks awfully red/ sore! Have you looked into any cream for him/her? Wearing a diaper will make that area tender just like a baby's I would think.
If your cat physically needs a diaper ask for help or get someone to assist you if your cat does not need this and you want to do it for fun don’t try it. It won’t make sense.

Some cats had accidents where they can't control their bladder. Which makes them pee and poop without feeling it. A diaper will catch it all so they won't pee or poop around the house and leaving bacteria and harmful stuff around that can be danger not only for us but for them too.

The cats skin looks raw and irritated where its covered by the diaper. I'd use some coconut oil on it or ask the vet to look at it.

How well do these diapers hold diarreah? My cat has to be cleaned out and expecting loose stools for awhile. Will this work?
The nappies will hold lot of liquid, I would buy a good brand of nappies like Pampers then go for a cheaper pack of nappies.
