There are still tons of USSSA-220 available - and 95% of you Slowpitch players don't need to be swinging 240s. In the description section we've included links to tons of Miken/Worth 220s and Easton Fireflex OG 220s. There are even some Mizunos, Onyxs, and Louisvilles still available. And we’re bound get a whole bunch of comments like “what about the APG” and “what about the Red Bat” - so here are bats that are equivalent/similar to the ones we used in this video: Miken Freak 23: Comparable to any Miken/Worth 220 12” or 12.5” barrel - Last Call 12", Freak 12, Freak 30, Mach 1 XXL, Savij, etc. Easton Old Stamp: Comparable to any Easton Fireflex OG tech - Fab4 Helmer, Steele Lewis, Salvo, Blue Line, FFOG, etc. DeMarini DB44 Nautalai: Comparable to any 220 Nautalai: red bat, white bat, etc. Worth Mach 1 428: Comparable to any Miken/Worth 220 13.5”+ barrel - Krecher, Freak Primo, Menes, Psycho, EST XL, etc. Louisville Slugger Genesis: Comparable to any 220 Genesis - APG, Blue Autism, Red Genny, White/Gold, etc. Onyx: Comparable to any Onyx 220 Modulus 2-pc bat with the rubber connection piece. I’ve included links in the description of where you can find some of these.
Just wanted to say thanks for all the reviews and info. Discovered your channel last winter and you helped me pick some bats for my teams and friends. Grabbed a Genesis WhiteGold for myself and an Easton OG 2 piece and a 1 piece for the teams.
Also, super cool of you to go through all the work and looking for all those bats and adding the links in the description to where people can find them or similar. The videos are great. Keep up the hard work.
Would love to see a comparison of the same tech but OG/gem era versions… like a KP23 vs a F30 and F12. Same tech but is it thooooo? Or a Worth legit (fulk or Connell) vs the same tech now. Love the work y’all do!
If you look at the connection piece on the miken and worth barrels, if you spin it while looking towards the barrel you can see that it has a thin side and a thick side. Basically a BP side and a game side.
Crazy thing about this is.... The 2020 KP, I HATED. Broke it within 2-300 swings. The 19, LOVED IT. Swung it over 2k swings with no problems and was hot all the way up til it's last swing. The 220 one piece genny, HATE IT. Rings my hands so bad worse than I've ever been rang. 240 genny's, LOVE EM. My gamer for sure and by far the best 240 I've put my hands on. Not a conference player but we usually only play tourneys where we can swing 240's so might as well get comfy swinging em. 🤷🏼♂️
I was wondering why you guys choose 26oz bats over 27 or 28? With the amount of swings you guys have put in, I'm assuming you guys like the faster bat speed?
Me my self I do love the older bats that last a really long time so you don't have to worry about cracking . The old freaks like the original and the freaking 98 , the silver Evo ax , the old supercell est extreme shell technology, the old demarini double wall bats, the old Easton synergy extended and the flex, the old orange crush . I og swung asa bats growing up me my self the silver Evo ax is best for me.
Lol. The first slow pitch home run I hit, was with a Demarini Doublewall. I still have it in my garage and on random occasions will hit a few in BP with it. One side of the barrel is almost flat. But honest to god, maybe 4000+ hits on it and no cracks or anything
Back in '09 the Worth Titan was so hyped... Most of the team were using a 28oz one 🤔🤷🏻♀️ I loved my 26oz EST80... All I kept hearing was that I should use that heavier Titan cause at 26oz mine just wasn't enough bat, even though I hung with them hitting bombs... The EST80 didn't hit em as far, but far enough to go out and I didn't have to worry wearing it out... With the majority of the team swinging that Titan, the guy that bought it had to get another to finish the season... I wasn't impressed 😏
Have you tried the helmer blueline? The 2021 version was built exactly like the 2018, which was crazy popular. I'm using mine rn and when I'm done with it, I'm gonna take it apart to study it
I just bought the 2022 miken dc-41 Usssa the Amazon special. It compression tested at 275-280. I put 100 swings on it and the compression didn’t change. It’s really nice. Would love to see a review.
How would you compare the 2020 KP Freak 23 to the newer 240 12 inch Louis barrels? I recently grabbed a PassEmOut 2.0, but SPN isn't making us use 240 bats yet like everyone thought. I'm just wondering if I may as well get an older 2020 KP23 to use instead if it would perform better than my 240 PassEmOut 2.0. I still haven't opened the PasssEmOut, trying to decide if I'm better off with a 12" 220 before I do. My gamer is the Southbeach and I love it, but I wanna add a 12" to the bag too.
Planning on playing softball this fall. Which bat to get with no restrictions but still has the durability and also which ones will work with hard balls if they happen to use them in the league?
Okay I’m in a league with no bat restrictions. Looking for expert advice. What is the hottest bat I can buy today. I want it to have a little forgiveness though. Thanks in advance
What is a good weight that you guys use as your standard weight? Is it common to go a little lighter at the 26OZ range with modern bats? What do you think someone like Ryan Harvey hits? Appreciate the insight!
If you could find a new 220 stamp Genesis now you would be lucky. I had 2 1 piece Genesis bats, the APG and the black and gold he tested. Both cracked under 200 swings. They were gas but the durability was disappointing. I got an APG2 and a Marshburn as replacements. Both gas 240’s though.
The Easton Fireflex OG and Fireflex 2 bats only take about 100 cuts with a decently hard ball before they're purrrrrrin'. The Miken/Worth short barrel don't take very long either - but you'll need to put a lot of swing on the Miken/Worth long barrels before they really open up. That DC41 probably wasn't great at first, but a few hundred swings later it's fiiiiire.
Yo will look down the bat like a telescope looking down the handle you can legit see that it has a thin side and thick side where the barrel meets the he handle ...this side is for bp and thin for game. I only swing miken and all my bats have it .
Might seem like a weird question, but do you have a recommendation on a “team BP” bat? Compression rating and stuff doesn’t really matter, just something that would stand up for a long ass time hitting .44 core balls. I remember before you guys were saying the Anarchy and Juno stuff took forever to break in, so that might be a good candidate.
Question. So I have the KP23 from the year prior to the one you swung in this video (the black, gray, and like bright yellow with bright yellow grip tape). I never got to swing it much bc most of the leagues where I am at, are now USA/ASA. However I am getting back to playing some Utrip this year. Do you know how the prior year one stacks up to the KP23 you swung in the video? I had considered just selling it, but then I see a lot of people swinging the one you have in the video and talking about how hot it is. So curious if I should keep it and start swinging away or sell it and go with something else.
I only got maybe 50-75 swings on it. The first 30 or so off a tee. I let my sister take it for a couple games for her coed team when I moved to an area that is mostly ASA. so maybe she got about 50 more or so.
No testing league, hell, I can swing a baseball bat… I’m in Australia, real trouble getting shipping. So, what Amazon bat should I swing, USSSA, ASA, 220, 240, Senior? Literally after THE hottest bat, of any type, on Amazon

Comparable to any Miken/Worth 220 13.5”+ barrel - Krecher, Freak Primo, Menes, Psycho, EST XL, etc.
Louisville Slugger Genesis:
Comparable to any 220 Genesis - APG, Blue Autism, Red Genny, White/Gold, etc.

Comparable to any Onyx 220 Modulus 2-pc bat with the rubber connection piece.
