I agree finally, I am 48 years old and yes,I play slowpitch. Please more on the subject. cheers!
Start posting the mic'd up games again! Hands down my favorite videos of yours.
You said more slow pitch content….subscribed immediately
lol 🙏
Finally actually entertaining slowpitch stuff. Mooooore I say more!!!!
We need to see more of your game videos, i enjoy watching those
Yes plz
Dude those are so fun
Do a Javier Baez break in video
this
My friend played first. He is 6'7'' and had a 15" first baseman mitt. Thing was half a cow. We called it angus. I have used the same 13" Wilson since I was in Jr high (in my 40s now) and retired it last year for another 13" this time a worth. I will use it some times but picked up a Rawlings 14" this year. I mostly play outfield or catch when my leg is hurt. Loved that Wilson.
15 inch glove in the outfield. If broken in properly the ball just funnels into the pocket.
I personally play a 13.5 for the infield
Love your baseball glove content but yessss more slowpitch content!! There’s a lot of slowpitch bat reviews channels out there but not much slowpitch glove or in game content!! Keep it up !!💪🏼🔥
Very encouraging thank you bro!
I’ve played high level softball for 15 years. Meaning upper level tourneys. And I’m telling you that no higher level player uses anything smaller than 13. And that’s infield. I’ve seen as high as 15. Almost all outfielders use 13.5-15. Most using 14. That’s what I use. 14”
I have a 20 year old LS 13.5 and just got an a2000 14".
I can't imagine using my kid's 11-3/4 with dudes jacking 110mph lasers at the infield spots.
part of that is also probably because the ball gets smoked so hard the priority is to just get it in the glove versus a quick transfer
Yeah so you guys are huge and that is part of why going bigger works. My argument would be that there is such thing is too big for guys who are average dudes.
In the end you gotta use what’s comfortable and when you’re catching 120mph line drives I bet 13.5” is more comfortable at short lol
E and D are not upper level tournaments 😂
@@ballgloveking I’m 5’9 200. The ball is moving too fast. No one uses gloves in the 12’s. I had a custom 14” Diaz and now a custom 14” 44. And the best defensive ss I ever saw used a 15” bfg
Keep up the slow pitch content man! As a new slow pitch player this is great
My slowpitch SS still wears his 11.25" baseball glove. I always give him a hard time that he's wearing a batting glove out there. But he's amazing with it still.
I love the slow pitch content
I bought a 13" Rawlings GG series pro softball glove like 17 years ago. Hardest glove break in ever. Stopped playing about 12 years ago. Now that kids play softball. I use now more than ever. Favorite glove to play catch with. Still going strong.
I play Senior Softball and you see all kinds of gloves out there at the tourneys. Rawlings, Wilson’s, 44’s, Marucci’s, Easton’s, and Mizuno’s. I actually go old school and play with a vintage Louisville Slugger 125 Series, G125-2C(13.25) for infield and a Louisville Slugger TPS GTPS5(13.50) in the outfield. Both closed webs. Very well made Japanese gloves. The leather is not stout as an A2000 or HOH but I love the feel of them. Very good quality leather. A comparison in leather and quality would be the Rawlings SG series of gloves in the 80’s. Keep up the great work on the videos, really enjoy them!
Great video love the mix of all types of content.
Left handed thrower and 2 in the pinky. I use a 12.75 a2k for outfield and have an 11.75 44 for infield. Got a custom 11.75 a2000 this year. Absolutely hate big gloves for softball. Have way too many bats though. Big variety of weights and brands. Only have ever bought 2 brand new bats though. Play it again is huge if you have one to check out.
Finally! ha. huge thumbs up for more slow pitch content. I miss the "mic'd up" series
great series, hope to see a lot more videos on it.
Starting from the top here.
Shoes, I have been using Under Armour lacross turfs for turf fields, and New Balance 4040 TPU cleats on dirt. Im gonna move my Under Armour lacrosse turfs to my dirt bag, and for a new set of Under Armour yard turfs for turf fields.
Batting gloves- i love thin batting gloves. I have a couple pairs of the Spiderz Lite gloves that are surviving, but they arent made anymore, so once those die, im hosed.
Bats I love Eastons. Where i play we have been able to stay swinging the 220s, and easton 220s are ridiculously hot. I dont use pine tar or spray, but the Vuk grip, or 3M grip, makes spray or tar unneeded.
Glove, I play 1B and C usually, and have a Vinci 1B glove (JBV04) and an Easton El Jefe 14 inch for when I am playing C. Bigger gloves help me out with a bigger pocket.
So ready for another softball szn
Yessir
The video we’ve all been waiting for! I’m considering getting a JL glove co, 12.75, with an I trap web. Watcha think? I play middle infield and some outfield
Thank you for doing this video. There is such a huge market for slowpitch. I rock my rawlings RBG36B from high school. 12.5 in 25 year old glove but have always wondered if it's time to start looking at something newer
Great video man love the content .
Dang you’re good at breaking in and repairing gloves! Wish you could fix my dad’s old a2000 from when he played minor ball… He’s 78 now and it would be such a cool gift to give back to him. If you are ever interested, I’d send you some photos and you could give me a quote for how much it would cost? Love your channel man! Keep the vids coming! God Bless!
more slow pitch content!!!!!!!!!!!
13 inch is fine for everyone. 26 balanced bat is the go-to & if you can swing a 220, do it. Good video bro looking forward to the slow pitch series!
Great job man!
Much appreciated 🙏
Dope video! QQ...what model mizuno cleats are those that you had on in the video?
I love your hoodie!
13.5 Vinci glove covers infield and outfield for me...been playing 40+ yrs...Louisville sluggers are great Utrip bats and Franklin gloves are long lasting and high quality for the price..so far so good for your analysis
love to hear it!
My slow pitch glove of choice without feeling like it’s made for a giant is an A1000 12”. No issues keeping the ball in the pocket. I’m 5’7”. Hardball glove of choice is an HOH 11.5”.
Keep up the good work nice Video ❤
Great video as always! It'd be awesome if you could get with some fastpitch players and work on a fastpitch gear series.
Can u do a review of a slowpitch softball glove pro 44.
I use a 12" for slowpitch. mainly middle infield but in league I play every position at some point. Came up .25 from a decade of using 11.75
Love your sweat shirt bro
Those are two great bats. That specific geny is ridiculous. Great choices.
You need to review the Louisville super Z glove. I absolutely love it
Smash it sports has close out prices on Viper gloves. Very good durable, high quality leather gloves. Usually $200+, can get the for less than 70
I wear my 11.75 third base glove from highschool for third and a 12.25 for outfield both 2 in the pinky
I personally have both the sanchez and the axe avenge pro flared and both are ridiculous bats. Sanchez is a little more forgiving i mean barely but the axe is definitely hotter on sweet spot. Just ordered one of the nex axe infernos and im looking forward to swinging it. Their insane! I play tournament ball and i use a 13" for both infield and outfield, though im usually at MM, 3rd or 2nd and im about to order a 13.5(torn between ordering a 44 custom and an A2000) and my current glove will become my backup. Going up in size is mainly because of when im at 3rd or OF.
47 year old, playing slowpitch softball for the first time this season. McCaslin Park field 4 last night actually with my church team. Skimped on all equipment this year since I wasn't sure how much I'd like. I love it. Now, where to I get a green mit (i play 3rd) that does not break the bank? Also, hitting is hard.
Easton 1 Piece Tantrum and Ressmondo are 🔥🔥
You need to try the Suncoast with the sticky barrel. Seriously adds spin, maybe the only new tech on the market worth it
Let’s goooo another uploaf
yessirr
Have you ever thought about doing a boombah review? I have 2 boombah veloci series modified T web and I absolutely love them especially for the price
How do you feel about the Rawlings KB17 pattern for middle infield? I bought one a few weeks ago, haven’t gamed it yet tho
i will play slowpitch this year thanks
Is their a problem with palm creases and wrinkles in a glove if so what should I do about it
More slowpitch videos!!
i hope you see this chris but i was wondering which youd recommend for a utility player the rawling r6 the rawlings gg elite or the mizuno mvp prime
Let’s goo God bless you bro
You camera man is dedicated
🎥 👨🏻
I've been using a 2022 - 4 The Fallen, easily the hottest bat I've ever used!
Sick name for a bat
Yup those monsta bats are hot as hell. My first swing on an uncle slam 340+
Anybody ever run an SSK Z5? finally making the transition from my 11.5 to bigger glove for softball as a middle infielder and was looking for some budget gloves to play with sizing? looking at trying 12.5
Looks like the Emery Cordura has been discontinued, any idea if they're replacing it with something similar?
I use my 13 inch Mizuno outfield, first and pitcher. I go my HOH 12 inch JV model every other position. The JV swallows a softball.
nice video
you should do a video on the a2000 d33
What state do you live in ? That gym looks sick 😮👏🏻
Got it l, two in the pink and one in the _____! 👏👍
I tried using a 12 1/2 made 3 errors in a row switched back to my 11 1/2 and haven’t switched back yet. Rawlings the golden glove 😂
I just started playing slowpitch this year.. i bought a cheap glove second hand and its gonna explode soon. Any recommendations for a glove preferably under $100.
Bro, I never saw that web before. The 15” glove has the Tic Tac Toe web. The Hashtag web #️⃣
#TooBig
I know the field that you were playing on, its right next to Wheaton Bible Church in Carol Stream just off of North Ave
how do you recommend to wear your slow pitch glove for middle infield
I go traditional but I would suggest two in the pinky for most people
can u do a glove review on rico custom gloves
Do a Javier Baez break in video
Rawlings glove idea: Rawlings classic steer hide leather 11.75 11.25 12.00 and outfield 11.75 12.00 12.25 it will be 300 bucks and pro 200 only it will have that classic look that shoe less Joe has and it will have similar a similar design but will actually be good
Can u please do a review about Ian kinslers nike glove 🙏
13” is the right size I think. I play infield and outfield.
Why do you say you don't need a 1B mitt for slowpitch? I still have to pick grounders here and there.
Or you can use football cleats they generally are round studs also
My out field is a 14 and infield is 12.75. I will say for someone new don’t skimp on the glove.
I mean I guess for rec you can wear any glove but as you play more competitively and more often infield is around 13 to 13.5” , outfielder shouldn’t have anything small than 14” . I personally have 14” Louisville glove
What music do you use? Such as the song at the beginning?
it all comes from Epidemic Sound!
What is it called@@ballgloveking
Can you do haga mizuno video please!!!
You left out the rev x1???
Love the sweatshirt! Jesus Won! Amen!! ❤ thank you for the Slowpitch content!
Hey ball glove king im almost 12 years old i play basicly everything but i play with a scout team for u14 my budget is under 300
Waiting on the next slow pitch video….
Keep the slow pitch content coming. The music could use some tweaking though, it's too loud and changes way too often, it's super distracting.
Mizuno Select 9 or MVP Prime for 8U player.
Hey man I was wondering if you could hook me up with a really good glove. My parents at the moment aren't willing to buy me a good glove even though I'm a high level player, plus i personally cant afford one right now. I currently looking for a 11.5. i am a shortstop and i have a 12.5 Wilson A300. Thank you so much for the awesome vids and keep up the good work!
I think maybe a lot of guys who use large gloves aren’t that great. 12 inch works great.
16 inch softball video when?
Those look like the joliet fields
Are you left-handed?
Bring back modified fastpitch
You forgot the other softball scam... where new bats come out... they all sell out and then go back for resale on FB softball group pages on ridiculous mark ups 😂 ..... I'd never spend more than 250 on a brand new in the the wrapper fire stick... honestly I'd like for other bat tubers to do a video on what they got in their game bag than just review bats... I watch the Chef mostly and man did yall disappoint us that swing the Lou 😂
It’s too bad that slow pitch bat bros channel got forgot about when the baseball bat bros channel started popping off. Also, just be aware of your local league rules if you’re looking at buying these bats. A lot of leagues are ASA/USA instead of USSSA so you wouldn’t be able to use those bats
Very true, and maybe the Slowpitch Bat Bros will get revived this year…
@@ballglovekingsounds like insider info...if so I'm looking forward to it!!
@@ballgloveking I hope so! I don’t blame them by any means. Gotta do what’s best for you, but I certainly enjoyed the slow pitch channel more lol.
Yes Jesus won!!!! Love it brother! The video is great!
Thanks my man 🙏
They doubled in price since you released this video
May 2024, linked Eastons are out of stock/$130
Slow pitch bat bros no longer do softball content. Check out average dudes softball. New content almost daily
why do you put a bubble in your mouth when fielding.
Please move up in the box when hitting
Nah
Slowpitch Bros hasn't done a video in over a year. He said he won't be doing any more videos for slowpitch because there is no money in it.
Really?
Confirming we never said that LOL. We switched over to baseball exclusively because we like baseball more. (btw there's tons of money in slowpitch)
@@baseballbatbros Never said that publicly, correct. 😁
Sluggers are good but durability sucks. Do not sleep on axe or demarini
Jesus always win ✝️
