We use coconut milk and thyme in Trinidad
We use it here in the States as well. I guess you can use many things anywhere.

Interesting...never seen 🌽 cooked this way
My grandma made it the same way but put 1tablespoon of sugar to
Hmmmm…that’s nice🥰🥰🥰🥰
Hello!!
I usually don't put the corn in the water to boil, it makes it soft and mushy. I use a steaming rack and keep the corn out of the water but still cook it steamed its good and less wet.
What is the last thing you added?? Thanks
Thank you for your thoughts and support Caroline at the end. You can put like parsley or chives or.Thymes but that’s was parsley 🌿 have an awesome Sunday 👍🏽
It says thyme on the bottle?
Who knew !! On our sweet cor. From CO
Thyme leaves?? At the end?
Thank you sweetie ...So good ...Thank you so much...mm mm mm
Great tip!
Nice way to cook. We Marylander's then sprinkle Old Bay seasoning on our corn after putting on a bit more butter. Worth a try!
Microwave best way ever to cook corn
May I know why the milk is added?
Hello and thank you for your awesome support. My grandmother used to do this all the time. When I was a child and her family in Georgia and also Tennessee and I would eat that corn 🌽 up.. the corn would be very tender and juicy so I start doing that to my corn as I got older, so that’s why I use it because I love it. That milk makes my corn 🌽 delicious try and tell me what you Think 🤔 thank you again and have an amazing Day🥰🌽🍋
Everybody's so creative 😅

It's the same color as it was when you started.
Never knew milk could go in corn
Just microwave it for 6 minutes and it comes out perfect!
😂😂😂
Please everybody always have the right way to cook corn
Is that unsalted butter
Thank you for your awesome support and sorry for the late answer to your question you can use unsalted butter or regular butter. My grandmother would use salted butter all the time.👍🏽
Omg trying this right now❤ thank you😊
What is the seasoning?
I’m bout to make this rn it’s 422am
You’re definitely going to love it. Thank you for your awesome support.👍💕
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen it was good
Making this tonight#
The directions on pkg say boil 3-5 minutes. I'm curious as to why you cook it 15-20minutes? It doesn't make it soggy? I just want to make sure I'm doing it correctly. And do I double everything to make 8 ears or just add 1/2 extra?
i.e...
3 cups water
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 stick butter
Good Morning Renee this is the best question in the world? And the reason why I say that I have boil corn for 3 to 5 minutes and that’s now how I was grown up on corn to me it’s still too tough after 3 to 5 minutes my grandmother boiled corn at every family Reunion and she would let it boil for 15 to 20 minutes and it would be absolutely tender and Delicious not mushy at all, you’re absolutely going to love this recipe. You can even keep the fire on low to keep it warm, but please boil your corn for more than 3 to 5 minutes unless you like a tough kernel on your corn 🌽 thank you for your awesome support and great questions. Have an amazing day and thank you again.👍💕
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen You're right! The corn was amazing! Thanks so much, you rock!!!
A whole stick of butter! 😢
What does the milk do?
Good morning the milk makes it cook very creamy and delicious. You won’t even need salt and pepper after the milk cooks into that corn with some butter. Thank you for asking I truly appreciate you have an awesome Saturday and a great Sunday.👍
@@MamaRayRayInTheKitchen Thank you so much! I will try this😋
The description recipe is completely different than what you said in the video
the only way my mom do it
A whole stick of butter for 4 cobs huh gotdayum
😂
15 min??????? That’ll make mush
THANKS SIS FOR THE VIDEO. I WILL START DOING MY CORN LIKE THIS..❤
What was the seasoning you put in it?
Oregano 🌿
Add sugar thank me later
How much milk
1 cup
I know I’am late but if you’re only going to boil two pieces, you really only need to put some milk in there like a half a cup just to get the milk to flow into the Corn 🌽 corn kernels👍
Waste of butter
Another way is to boil it
Quite a whack a doodle
Looks good! But please stop using the term picnic… when ya kno ya kno. ❤
Weird to take corn out of its natural packaging and then repackage it.
15 to 20 min????? dam, I cook mine 6 min.
Good morning Six minutes is fine the longer the better everything gets up in the corn I like my corn on the tender side. Thank you for your awesome support. Have an amazing Sunday and a great week.👍
3 to 4 minutes. Try it.
Corn cooks in 5 to 7 minutes according to the size 15 to 20 minutes kills the vitamins and nutrients in the corn
You don't need the milk .
That's overcooked .u put corn in cold water and as soon as it boils your corn is ready.perfect corn
Why does it have to be so complicated
She said the ingredients will be in the description 🤔 water, milk, butter 🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂 Thank You 😊
Aaayyyyyyyy did she say pignic?!? Oink oink
Milk? 🤮
U can't taste the milk
U ever heard of cream corn.
Seems like a waste of butter.
Hello and thank you for your awesome support. You could use half of the butter. If you like that particular day I did add more corn 🌽 have an awesome night👋🏾🙏🏿
Too much milk and water and butter , it’s a waste
Good morning Carolyn it wasn’t a waste I just did a little bit on camera, but I boiled another 15 pieces of Corn 🌽 that day.
you guys down there ever hear about the ongoing cholesterol problem in the country
@adamfero4414 Jesus . Check out my cousin Vinny ya uncultured fuck
Live a little
TOO MUCH BUTTER, WATCH THE CHOLESTEROL
Got you Thank You 😊
That cholesterol warning is bologna. How rude. Unless you’re a dr. Leave the lady and her recipe alone. That cholesterol is a myth.
Cholesterol, the good and the bad cholesterol is genetic I can eat all fat and my cholesterol is perfect. This isnt a medicine channel.
Kroger has GMO corn 🤢.
Сплошные калории!!! Было полезным одно лишь молоко, - если, конечно , оно не из соседнего магазина! - и то вылил его....
A whole stick of butter???? JFC
Thank you for your awesome support. You can use less butter if you like, it will still taste awesome👍💯Happy Corn 🌽
