- The best way to grill corn on the cob is directly over the coals. By not using foil or cooking in a husk you get that really good grill flavor into the corn. In my experience cooking in foil or even the husk you get more of a steamed corn and not grilled corn. Not only is this method of grilling corn on the cob easy but your also going to get good flavorful Corn on the cob. The best way to grill corn on the cob is over the coals and then basting it with the BBQ butter I show in the video.
I like to set up the PK grill for 2 zone cooking - I cook the corn over medium heat until the Kernels begin to soften then I put over the coals to char up and bring out all the flavor. I then melt down some unsalted-butter, GQue BBQ rub (to purchase rub click link below) and garlic. This is a heavenly concoction for corn on the cob. Be sure to make extra as this is the best way to grill corn on the cob its also an easy way to grill corn on the cob.

The silk is inedible but has medical values 😊 great in a tea.

Here are a couple of tips that make assembly slightly easier th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . 1) One person can assemble, but if you have a buddy to help, it will make it go faster - especially steps 1-3 and 8 (the legs aren't heavy but can be difficult to hold while screwing things in). Step 8, 1st part will take some time unless you have two more hands OR are really lucky. 2) Use a socket wrench! 3) Step 7, 3rd part - the flame carry over tube has an open side, MAKE SURE THE OPEN SIDE IS FACING THE FRONT. If it's facing the back, the tube won't work. 4) Step 10, 3rd part - if you don't have small hands (I don't, they're gigantic) getting the nut on is really difficult (but not impossible). It took me about 4 hours to assemble, but I took a "union break" every 60-90 minutes and ate a quick lunch. Also, I'm really OCD so I took my time, looked at the instructions carefully, and cleaned up as I went.
I’m trying this
You won’t regret it!
I agree that grilling corn naked is the way to go, my neighbors disagree
To each is own! Thanks for watching
Good God man!!! What's up with all the butter? Holy cow!!!
Thanks for info
Thanks for watching!
I also usually require 2 pulls to remove the silk
I agree
what a nice and fast lesson to do this you instructed perfectly, only question I wanted to ask did you not soak the corn in water for a bit? I had seen a few others where they do soak the corn first, our family likes the sweet corn as we call it here in south africa, not sure if it is the same in the USA, We call the white cone ( corn or mostly miles ) . thank you for the vid
Merci mec👍
I love grilled corn I'm addicted to it 💓
I like a little corn with my butter too
Called roast corn from where am from will try this next time
Hope you like it!
I literally LOL'd watching you "struggle" with the husk silk strands.
The “struggle” is real!
Nice video…. I laughed when you said cooking out of the husk enhances the natural corn flavor….. meanwhile drowning it in butter.. 😂 looks good though
Best grill corn
Thanks!
😋😋
Can I have a little corn with my butter?
Looks delicious.
Do you initially brush with olive oil?
Me: holy christ thats a LOT of butter!
Also me: ok, lemme try
Haha
Had a little bit of corn with your butter!
Don’t mind if I do!🥳
how hot do you get the grill to become before you put the corn on?
It’s the same amount of time you gotta do what you gotta do so whether we do it in phase 1 and phase 2 is still the same amount of time
Leave the husk on, soak in water for a while, put it directly on the coals.
can you use a propane bbq and get similar results?
when i tried with butter everything CHANGED!
Haha true!
The true king of corn!
We got a yeller.
Gotta get the good grill marks and maybe some SnP
Wow thank you for showing how to remove corn from a husk like it wasn’t easy already
Some people don’t know, or have done it the hard way for years. Calm down. Everyone is in a different place in life.
Is that mold on the end of the corn ?
In the husk cut each end of the ear first then husk your corn
What type of corn is this? I’ve tried sweet corn and it was too sweet. Thanks
You sure you never did infomercials for flex seal
Grill in husk and everything comes of the cob like butter.
Thanks! That was great!
Glad you liked it!
Bro. How long is it on the grill for
Pickled corn: boil corn cobs and soak in a brine with water, white vinegar, pickling salt and garlic cloves. Soak in a 5 gallon bucket with a plate on top to keep corn soaked for 2 weeks. Eat cold, it's so good!!!
I’d try it! Thanks for sharing!
I tried it and it’s phenomenal!!! Thank you for the recipe
Is that parsley on the corn at 3:39?
How many mins ?
Is it the same type of method on a gas grill? Looks like the best corn I've ever seen.
Looks like it
love how the butter magically had a new ingredient at the end
Thanks Kenny Chesney 😆
How long does it (The G-Que rub) take to be delivered??
We ship usps so whatever their timelines are unless they are backed up
Which oil are you using? I'm guessing corn oil would be a good idea... for corn.
Canola or veggie is good anything with a high smoke point
When I grill corn this way I don't add any thing. The corn is delicious just by it's self.
