literally everyone that comes to my house wants to go on my loft bed. And im just like 1: i dont want your germs on my bed and my pillow. 2:its literally just a bed.
I've slept in a loft bed for pretty much 7 years, luckily though I got a low down bed a couple of months ago. The thing I hated most was the fact that I couldn't just jump out of bed in the morning to wake me up, so I was always late for school. It's either the loft bed that does that or I'm just really lazy. 😊.
Bailey Mooney Because she is an ignorant spoiled kid you idiotic three year old. Not to many people have beds like those kids in Economic and Global situations. Plus those beds cost like $300 dollars.
All these things are so accurate... Bunckbeds are the same. You can't jump on it and everyone wants to climb on it. I want a loft bed so bad.. I share a room with my 2 sisters and a loft bed would save so much room.
Kloie Fleming I understand 🤣 I shared a room with my three younger sisters and we had bunk beds but finally in March I moved to the guest room in the garage, and now I have my own space!!
Me and my 2 sisters share a room aswell but soon we are converting our loft. Me and my sister are going to move into it, it will be 2 different rooms though. Won't be that big but gives us spae
3:13 the cat said: *whispers* wake up jadalyn! jadalyn:i am! *gets up* *falls down* cat: hahahaha! omg now how can i get down from this large thing?! cat:I HATE THIS ROOM!!!
I'm likely getting a small home soon & I was considering a lot of bedding options. Don't know if this is right for me but gaining extra space is always a good thing.
Ok but like what if i was considering into switching from a normal bed to a loft bed… In the summer its rlly hot but my bed is literally right over the ac vent... My room is small so i kinda wanna have more space Pls give some advice :)
definitely consider the height of your ceiling!! that’s honestly what makes it worth it or not because if you’re feeling like it’s too tight/too hot up there you’ll be miserable! but honestly i kept my bed for like seven years and it saved me SOOO much space i loved it, i just grew out of it. hope that helps!
I have a bunk bed, which for me is sorta the same as a loft, since I throw all my extra junk under the bed... Anyway, I love it! My bedroom is normally pretty cold, but I have a fan right over my bed [ok THAT is sorta annoying] that automatically turns on at a certain temperature in my bedroom. I've been bugging my parents a lot lately to get me a loft, buttt I don't think that is happening, since they already got me a king-sized bed for when my new bedroom is finished in our basement. In my new bedroom, I'm going to have plenty of space to keep my small pets [just a fish right now] as well as plenty of office space, and a walk-in closet. It'll be beach themed (; pretty dope, honestly, and I am seriously excited. although I will miss being in a higher bed, you make some fair points here. That bar that you sometimes trip over? I would consider putting a carpet over it, so it acts more like a small ramp. And hitting your head? Well, you'll just have to get in the habit of not doing that x3 To fix your heat situation, try minimizing the amount of blankets you use. In the summer it does get really hot for me, and sometimes my fan's automatic thing doesn't work, so really the only blanket I ever sleep with is very airy and light. If using less blanketing doesn't work, try sticking your blanket in the freezer a half hour before bed. Makes it really cold at first, but after you use it a while, it'll even out with your body temperature. Hmm... what did I miss...
GUYS: stop with the hate. if you're saying stuff like, "be grateful not everyone has a loft bed some kids sleep on rags," then that means you clearly weren't listening. she said clearly said in the beginning (AT EXACTLY 0:10) that she loves her loft bed but she just wanted to make a fun video on the annoying things. so chill.
I love my loft bed bit I also hate it because one time I fell of of it and cut my leg and foot wide open because I landed on a fan. After that I was scared I would fall off again so I slept on the couch in my room for like a month.
It depends if you have three or two bars if you have three bars then you can't probably do it but I am seven and you are 14 so you should probably be able to do it with three if not then you're going to have to climb down but it's really easy to just slide down from your mattress to the ground that's what I do but it might mess your mattress up so you might have take those risks.
solution: extension chord. you’ll need something for it to sit on obviously but it’ll definitely save you. just make sure you don’t lean on it i don’t want it to overheat and explode 😳 i’ve heard stories...
@@JayOrtiz922 Not risking it nahnahnah 😳 What I've been doing is using my computer to charge my phone, because my computer charger can reach. Probably not very smart though o-o
I'm going to get a dresser desk combo where my current dresser is. I see lots of people putting desks under the bed but under my loft will be a TV & beanbag couch 🤣💖
3:28 FYI sun rises east so any windows from east will absorb the most. insulations...also what you meant to say is the higher elevated you are, the more likely there's not much air compared to surface ground applies. easy way to try this is touch your floor- can't be carpet... and touch your ceiling... if the fan is shooting upwards instead of downwards it'll possibly be the opposite experience but normally fans will typically shoot downwards. insulation plays a very huge role in your room as well as the air current... i have my air vent hitting my fan thus whenever someone turns on heater or cooler it'll either hit me with hot air or cold air and delivering more slightly more range than before. I used to have a other air vent on my door and they said it should be there so all the air current can flow and if I have my door closed it traps all the air in making my room absorb more heat than what my room is providing. so they said if I open my door and leave it open for a good 3yrs my room would be a good room temperature. the reason why it isn't is like I said... leaving door closed and since my room has poor insulation the sun will cause it to easily make my room hot. how do I keep my room permanently cooled?... four options. leaving door wide open for years, get a a/c unit cooler, demolition the walls and redo insulation, have a vent to push air flow out my room. leaving windows open can help... just depends usually on what's the weather that day but definitely will suck since flies and other things can possibly come in. demolition trust me I tried it and you got to worry about how the hell you going to make your structure support itself and not only that but gotta be cautious when ripping off the walls... sheet rock! trust me that's just a Hella fun to just destroy it and satisfying as it's like those stuff you see in movies in concrete destruction since sheet rock is brittle and a bit fragile but is a bit strong as well. it'll keep its shape if punched but not completely rupture. but trust me it's not worth the time and effort to redo insulation... depends if you want to have no walls for a good while and sleep somewhere else. then good for you. a/c cooler unit... drilling holes on brick is a pain and finding a place the best area to put it and such is a pain as well as where to get the piping going is a pain and is highly expensive. air vents... just gotta find the best route for the vent on your ceiling. it'll possibly take maybe a day or two to complete it or maybe even just hours. If I am right it's not as expensive as what I mentioned. also if you have poor insulation with a nearby attic... your room will definitely absorb lots of heat. you'll actually feel the attics heat on the ceiling of your room possibly could feel the end point of the heat too. I used to have a mattress coolent and ngl it was possibly the best thing I used! just the only downsides.... don't overlap it/cover it up that's thick or it'll actually do the opposite. the coolent paint is actually annoying once you have the mattress maybe over a year or two. as it'll break down and get on everywhere and anything nearby it. since it's paint I have a feeling that it'll stain anything. now since I do know coolent paint exists I'm not sure if it'll exist on wall paints... which that is exactly what I've been trying to look up.
As someone who had a bunk bed as a little, some of these points are valid for those as well lol. As I got older I outgrew the "novelty" of the bunk bed (and the kid mattresses that came with it!). Now I sleep on the floor.
I would suggest that you get foam bars or swimming noodles and cut them and put them on your ladders that's what my dad is going to do for me when I get my room done up soon xx
If you read the description or even watched the video before writing this comment you would see how grateful I am that I have this and that I actually do love having it. Thanks though.
I did make a video on why I love it, and I hate when people say their opinions before making sure what they're saying is valid. Sorry to sound harsh but your comment was a bit unnecessary.
I've had a loft bed for maybe a year now and its my favorite thing ever. I can agree that there are some bad things about it but I still am really grateful for it.
When I was six my friend had a loft bed and one night I slept up top and his mom had turned the heat on at night so not only did it suck that heat rises but also to they had an odd central heating and cooling system so the vents WERE ON THE CEILING I was so hot and I woke up at like six am and was like almost dead
My 14 year old son has the exact same bed in a full size. We ordered a twin but they sent a full size frame. Instead of sending it back I wrapped a piece of plywood with foam and black fabric to give my son a flat area about 12 inches wide that goes from the foot to the head of the bed that he can put things. It works really good. But now he’s too big to get up and down easily so we’re cutting the legs down so they start where the desktop is currently. That way his bed is high enough to use the area under it for storage and the desk is being moved to the outside of the foot of the bed although that’s not a definite plan. We also took the bar that goes across from ladder to ladder because everyone was tripping on it. The bed was still plenty stable without the one bar.
When she said that a pro is you have more space because her room was kind of small I was just like "girl I can't even fit a loft bed in my room" 😂 my ceiling is too short That bed is pretty cool though, and people need to stop saying that you're ungrateful. Of course you're grateful, you're just saying what's annoying about it.
+Jill Stephenson ❤️❤️❤️ lol I do have a good sized room you are correct I meant that there is just a lot of stuff in there that wouldn't usually be in a persons' room :)):)
jadalyn lol okay, I have a lot of stuff in mine too 😂 I just have a ceiling that slopes on either side so there is no way I could fit anything tall in there.
if you can choose, i’d say do a solid wood on they seem to be more sturdy than the metal (though of course more expensive) but i’m excited for you the loft has been the best room choice ever for me!
I can relate! However, I'm trying to solve those problems. #1 the ladder sucks! Ow, my feet! Ow!!!! So, I made a stair case out of banana boxes (accept no substitutes!) and 1/4" chip-board and it's squished between the short side of the bed and the wall. It's totally strong enuf to hold you. Lemme know if you want the plans. It costs as much as a full 8'x4' sheet of 1/4" chip-board and a 1/4 sheet, same. Cuts are free at the lumber store. Boxes are free from the grocery store. Plus they hold stuff. #2 No night-stands are tall enuf! So, I'm going to make shelves out of egg boxes (the 60-pack kind. They are 1'x1'x5") and attach them to the wall next to the bed. I will use as many as I need to hold all the stuff I need up there (glass of water, pill bottle, phone, book and some pens, light, fan to cool me off!...) #3 Yes, the heat! I have a fan up there. I often leave it on all night. Point the fan at the ceiling and let it push the hot air down to the floor so the cool air has no where else to go but up! And I cool the bedroom down for about an hour before bed. I may even leave the window open a bit during the Winter. IDK. It's def hot up there! I don't bump my head anymore. I guess I just got used to it. About that bottom bar... If you move your dresser so that it is backed up against the bar and you have to turn left when you come in the bedroom door to go around the bed and enter from the side, you won't go thru there anymore and won't trip. If you put the dresser on a platform so that the bottom drawer is higher than that bar, you can turn it around facing the door and open it from the foot of the bed. It's not a good idea to have the dresser opening under the bed because you have to stand up to get into it and that's not really possible under the bed. Only have things under the bed that you can deal with sitting down in the chair or on the floor. I have my desk and my vanity under the bed and one chair between them. Bookshelves are good because you can sit down to find a book. Stereo is good too. Esp. if you have a remote for it. I 💜 loftbeds!
why would you wanted to be jumping on the bed? haven't you heard the story of the ten little monkeys jumping on the bed? they all fell out! i strongly suggest that no more jumping on the bed for you dear.

This is too adorable, thanks for the laugh! :) I know this is an old video but I was looking up loft beds and yours popped up, I'm glad I watched it.

Am I the only one who wants a loft bed in 2022
I've slept in a loft bed for pretty much 7 years, luckily though I got a low down bed a couple of months ago. The thing I hated most was the fact that I couldn't just jump out of bed in the morning to wake me up, so I was always late for school. It's either the loft bed that does that or I'm just really lazy. 😊.
That cat up there tho
When she did like she fell of the ladder
Hahah I didn't even notice! Aw ahaha the way it just watches
Isa&femme I noticed that. Lol that was soook funny
why do some of y'all hate on her
Bailey Mooney Because she is an ignorant spoiled kid you idiotic three year old. Not to many people have beds like those kids in Economic and Global situations. Plus those beds cost like $300 dollars.
my house is already really hot at night, and my dad is building me a loft bed, so imma wake up in a pool of sweat. I might drown.
heyy how was it now? I'm thinking about building one but it's really hot durant summer and spring where i live, so... did u adapt?
I kept replaying 1:30 😂😂😂

If you spam it it sounds like a swag remix
Madison Y. Because she fell

Space*
you: climbing down bed
also you: *falls*

thank you! ♥️
changing the sheets is such a painnn i swear
THE WORST
I'm likely getting a small home soon & I was considering a lot of bedding options. Don't know if this is right for me but gaining extra space is always a good thing.
Guys she isn’t ungrateful omg could you leave her alone
Ok but like what if i was considering into switching from a normal bed to a loft bed…
In the summer its rlly hot but my bed is literally right over the ac vent...
My room is small so i kinda wanna have more space
Pls give some advice :)
definitely consider the height of your ceiling!! that’s honestly what makes it worth it or not because if you’re feeling like it’s too tight/too hot up there you’ll be miserable! but honestly i kept my bed for like seven years and it saved me SOOO much space i loved it, i just grew out of it. hope that helps!
Well, you'll just have to get in the habit of not doing that x3
To fix your heat situation, try minimizing the amount of blankets you use.
Jumping on the bed:
The couch and/or your parents' bed will be just as bouncy!
Friends always want to go on your bed:
Post a sign outside your door telling them not to go up there.
Recording difficulties:
You could make a custom hook(?) on your ceiling that stays there permanately that you attach your camera to.
Painful ladder:
Wrap the rungs in a rubber covering [not cloth! you could slip!]
Nightsent Plays jesus i dont think u missed anything i think u put extra stuff
Well if you're on a mountain then it's colder
What
+Bethany Jukkala oh. Well I'm not on a mountain so my statement is still correct
That is because of altitude, a bed is different then a mountain
1 RisingStar i#you go to the desert it's hoter then that
I would definatly want a new bed if I kept hitting my head and falling over the bar
GUYS: stop with the hate. if you're saying stuff like, "be grateful not everyone has a loft bed some kids sleep on rags," then that means you clearly weren't listening. she said clearly said in the beginning (AT EXACTLY 0:10) that she loves her loft bed but she just wanted to make a fun video on the annoying things. so chill.
when you have no more youtube video ideas
when i've made plenty of videos after this one
jadalyn You go girl 😂
I have a loft and I agree with everything you said.
mary church omg yasss😂
mary church was I the only one that noticed that all the ppl that committed on this had no profile picture but me
I love my loft bed bit I also hate it because one time I fell of of it and cut my leg and foot wide open because I landed on a fan. After that I was scared I would fall off again so I slept on the couch in my room for like a month.
Ouch. Are you better now?
OMG ARE YOU OK NOW???
don't worry I fell off the in the middle of the night when I had to use the bathroom then I got a normal bed I was happy
But My loft bed has a metal bar to keep me from falling off??why doesn't yours??
Mine was wood and my little cousins broke it some how
It depends if you have three or two bars if you have three bars then you can't probably do it but I am seven and you are 14 so you should probably be able to do it with three if not then you're going to have to climb down but it's really easy to just slide down from your mattress to the ground that's what I do but it might mess your mattress up so you might have take those risks.
This is actually super helpful so I know what to look for when I buy my bed frame lol
Thanks for your honesty. Your video was perfect. Filled with relevant information. You did not sound like you complaned at all.
My charger. That's actually it. MY CHARGER DOESN'T REACH.
solution: extension chord. you’ll need something for it to sit on obviously but it’ll definitely save you. just make sure you don’t lean on it i don’t want it to overheat and explode 😳 i’ve heard stories...
@@JayOrtiz922 Not risking it nahnahnah 😳 What I've been doing is using my computer to charge my phone, because my computer charger can reach. Probably not very smart though o-o
anyone think that girl who bummped her head looked like super women
lol that's my mom
+jadalyn She does look like super woman
Heeheee
Ye a lot like her

For heat I recommend getting a ceiling fan! I have one and I’m always at *perfect* temperature
I'm going to get a dresser desk combo where my current dresser is. I see lots of people putting desks under the bed but under my loft will be a TV & beanbag couch 🤣💖
love it!!
I love how the cat just watched her fall off the bed 😂

FYI sun rises east so any windows from east will absorb the most. insulations...also what you meant to say is the higher elevated you are, the more likely there's not much air compared to surface ground applies. easy way to try this is touch your floor- can't be carpet... and touch your ceiling... if the fan is shooting upwards instead of downwards it'll possibly be the opposite experience but normally fans will typically shoot downwards.
insulation plays a very huge role in your room as well as the air current... i have my air vent hitting my fan thus whenever someone turns on heater or cooler it'll either hit me with hot air or cold air and delivering more slightly more range than before.
I used to have a mattress coolent and ngl it was possibly the best thing I used! just the only downsides....
don't overlap it/cover it up that's thick or it'll actually do the opposite. the coolent paint is actually annoying once you have the mattress maybe over a year or two. as it'll break down and get on everywhere and anything nearby it. since it's paint I have a feeling that it'll stain anything.
now since I do know coolent paint exists I'm not sure if it'll exist on wall paints... which that is exactly what I've been trying to look up.
is a loft bed a like a bunk bed
Loft bed: room under the bed
Bunk bed: bed under a bed
Ady Bee you're*

I don't hav a loft bed
As someone who had a bunk bed as a little, some of these points are valid for those as well lol. As I got older I outgrew the "novelty" of the bunk bed (and the kid mattresses that came with it!). Now I sleep on the floor.
I told my husband keep one of the beds because our daughter is tall and only 10 she going hate that loft bed we going have put foam on the ceiling 😄
I have a peeve of myself: every time I make my bed I always bang my head on the roof
preach
GURL YOU ARE MY SPIRIT ANIMAL YOU FALL JUST AS MUCH AS I DO 😂❤️
I would suggest that you get foam bars or swimming noodles and cut them and put them on your ladders that's what my dad is going to do for me when I get my room done up soon xx
Then why did you ask for a loft bed. Be greatful you even have one. A lot of people have to sleep on the hard, cold, floor.
If you read the description or even watched the video before writing this comment you would see how grateful I am that I have this and that I actually do love having it. Thanks though.
+jadalyn if you were truly grateful, you would make a video about how grateful you are instead of complaining
I did make a video on why I love it, and I hate when people say their opinions before making sure what they're saying is valid. Sorry to sound harsh but your comment was a bit unnecessary.
+Nina I did. It's literally called why I love my loft bed.
+Nina
shes not complaining... i have a loft bed, and all of this is true.
I have a silver loft and my mom bought me pool noodles to put on the ladder
Smarttttt
thank u
omg so smart thx for the idea!!
I want one but idk how my cat will cuddle me at night...
I've had a loft bed for maybe a year now and its my favorite thing ever. I can agree that there are some bad things about it but I still am really grateful for it.
right!! i’d definitely suggest it to anyone who wants extra space!
When I was six my friend had a loft bed and one night I slept up top and his mom had turned the heat on at night so not only did it suck that heat rises but also to they had an odd central heating and cooling system so the vents WERE ON THE CEILING I was so hot and I woke up at like six am and was like almost dead
I used to have a loft bed and hated having to climb it because it felt like the metal was going through my foot
accurate especially when you aren’t wearing socks
Me:*Laughs so hard when she falls of the ladder* HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
I first wanted to get a loft but then I REMEBER HOW FRICKIN TALL I AM AND HOW I WILL PROBALLY BE TO BIG FOR IT :(
same :(
I’m pretty small
So I can probably get a loft bed
I'm laying on my loft bed right now😂
In my loft bed I got a new and there is literally like 1 foot between my mattress and the ceiling ;-;
rip your head 🤯😞
I have a bunk bed, and I RARELY, and I mean RARELY hit my head on the ceiling. Am I that short?
maybe but you could also have high ceilings lol- this place i rarely hit my head but the place i’m at now i have to be super careful 😂
3:21 nobody sleeps with their glasses lol
My mom does no joke. She needs to see her dreams
I do all the time. It's not a big deal
+jadalyn lol roasted 😂😂
your right
Mythical ROBLOX I do
Who else was in their loft bed while watching
I have adjusted to hitting my head by taking an extra step and then after a few months I adjust
When she said that a pro is you have more space because her room was kind of small I was just like "girl I can't even fit a loft bed in my room" 😂 my ceiling is too short
That bed is pretty cool though, and people need to stop saying that you're ungrateful. Of course you're grateful, you're just saying what's annoying about it.
+Jill Stephenson ❤️❤️❤️ lol I do have a good sized room you are correct I meant that there is just a lot of stuff in there that wouldn't usually be in a persons' room :)):)
jadalyn lol okay, I have a lot of stuff in mine too 😂
I just have a ceiling that slopes on either side so there is no way I could fit anything tall in there.
okay so i have a super small room but a hugeeee ceiling
Instead of buying u should make one its easy and u can customize it to fit in your space That's what imma do
I’m getting a room redecoration for my birthday. I’m getting a loft. I still want one, but now I know there will be consequences!, 😂
if you can choose, i’d say do a solid wood on they seem to be more sturdy than the metal (though of course more expensive) but i’m excited for you the loft has been the best room choice ever for me!
jadalyn ok! I will take your advice! Thank you! This should help.
YOURE 20 NOW? OH MY GOD THE TIME HAS GONE
OMG IM GETTING. THE SAME LOFT BED
My loft bed is wood so it doesn't hurt my feet😂
FayC My loft bed is wood too!
lol i have a bunk bed...well 2 a wooden one in my dads apartment and a metal one in my house
Faith Cushman mine too and it has stairs instead of a ladder just so I don’t have these problems 😂
I hate it because I get dust
This girl is 18 right now-
Lmao
I feel you on everything!

my sister is making her own. l dont know why but l going to sub
isn't this just a bunk bed
yes but it does not have the bottom bed
It's a bunk bed with no bunk at the bottom
A bunk bed without a bottom bunk is a loft bed.
+Cup Cake still a bunk bed a loft is like a giant shelf that you put a mattress/bed on look at Sasha Morgan's new room tour
Ya that's what i said
I can relate!
I will use as many as I need to hold all the stuff I need up there (glass of water, pill bottle, phone, book and some pens, light, fan to cool me off!...)
#3 Yes, the heat!
P.S. get a mini-trampoline. They're anywhere from $15 to $100. Put it under a decently high ceiling and bounce your heart out. LOL
No offense but I think your being kind of spoiled
+jadalyn you must be so spoiled
How so she still likes it
