Not all “ bulky stuff is out of style for a while”; furniture of good quality and good wood craftsmanship is still a good investment. That is why there are people who still collect antiques. I am pretty sure if some people can afford to buy their own home, they would get “ those bulky “ furniture.
I am a beginner to woodwork, the main test I have with this bundle th-cam.com/users/postUgkxTNB_zFBSnTo_O1PqfVUwgi7ityw0JlKt is that I think that its hard to settle on a choice of the plan and outline to use as there are a large portion of them there. Nonetheless, I like the simple stride to step directions laid out there.
@@EdwardGaydosIIIyes! Necessity and desire are inspiration for creativity❣️ I love to find ways of making things with repurposing and diy as much as possible…even when I could afford not to. I find it much more challenging, in a good way. A lot of wealthier people are so because they don’t spend money unnecessarily.
As someone who build furniture as a hobby, longevity is a concern. As someone with a rudimentary understanding of engineering, I recognize that articulation points are notoriously prone to breakage. I'm curious as to what the life expectancy of some of these load-bearing structures are what with all the point of articulation built into them.
Most probably won't last long especially if children use them. You probably get 5 years at most out of them but then again that is how long most last now.
Nowadays, the younger generation does not care about the longevity. They want to get cheap furniture, toss them if they have to move and get new ones. I have nice furniture to give to my kids, none of them want them, as moving them cost more. They will just go to the nearest IK## than to deal with the solid wood, heavy and bulky stuffs.
@@valeriapw7908 it doesn't cost more to move a heavy piece of furniture across town than it would be to just buy it new. Unless you're talking about using a moving company and going across state lines or even worse across country lines now I don't know about going through countries but here in America if I wanted to move from Massachusetts to Florida with a heavy couch I can't imagine that it would be that much cheaper to just buy a brand new one in Florida
Sure, we can't afford these things, but we can now use the ideas presented and make our own versions of them. If the original designs are flimsy, we make better, more durable variations. Better hinges, better bearings, better wheels, better brackets, better wood, better articulation. I've been wanting to build me a privy gaming podbox with soundproofing, a bed on top, dresser on the side, and a multimedia entertainment center at the end, and PLENTY of these ideas are already being considered for use with that build...
Uh you just aren't resourceful enough and thinking outside the box. Just DIY. One of them is actually a take on how poor people used to sleep in China if they couldn't afford to buy a bed. A plank laid across 2 wooden stools that have no back is your standard poor person's bed.
That cube kitchen seems so cool--but who has enough space to store that bulky, folded-up cube when not in use? If you have a place to store it folded, you have enough room for a permanent kitchen.
The first idea is the best for me. It can be placed in a small house and even a small studio. Very useful. I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner without getting my bed dirty.
These are wonderful things and very genius and smart ideas... Thank you, owner of the channel, for sharing those things that I cannot describe their beauty... Thank you And honstly I loved them all
great video, really loved the creative ideas! but i can't help but wonder if some of these designs prioritize style over practicality. sometimes, it feels like a compromise on comfort, especially in a small space where you want to feel cozy, not just trendy. what do you guys think?
Personally, I love these space idea's that also help with using one piece of furniture in different ways. It's aesthetically pleasing and calming to me. Even when owning my own home i'm still not interested in bulky furniture, it get's so boring to keep looking at the same static pieces over and over that just serve their one purpose and that's it.
I really liked the last one, the sofa bed with chaise storage, which I really need, but it wouldn't fit into my budget, I am sure!! And probably also would not fit in my 72" space. It would have been great if you could have put the price of each item in, say, a bottom corner of the screen!!
The soft chairs are wonderful for young people but not for older folks. You would need a frame or something to sit it on so that older people could sit comfortably without falling down. Here in the U.S. the older generation is quite a large population. That's something the manufacturer might want to consider.
My future tiny house is going to have a loft and the chair mattress at timestamp 1:08 is perfect for a seating alternative in a space where you can't fully stand up. I also love the ottoman that accompanies it. At timestamp 2:58, that sofa is a masterpiece and also perfect for my loft. At timestamp 5:02, the swivel table is awesome. I can fit that in my loft for guest to have space to work on and keep their clothes.
This video was so fascinating to watch. I would have to say that the hidden room with the tiles which could cover the windows was my absolute favourite. I also liked the soft chair with the straps. I have subscribed. Thank you.

I am into small spaces design build Honolulu Hawaii. The automated tables benches TV lifts interest me the most. I would appreciate knowing where to purchase the hardware for such projects. As we do build our own custom furniture and cabinetry.🔨
!谢谢。
Dang wondering what heavy duty brackets they used for that fold down bed the two beds that fold down, I bet they're the like 200$ brackets and the whole set up for them is least a couple grand.
The first table has been around for ages. My pastors mom had one and it folded out much further than that one. I specifically remember it because we had a carry in dinner at her house and there must have been a dozen people sitting at this table. It was amazing. That included the plates/bowls of food that people brought. I loved all of the ideas except the last. I’ve never been cool on sofa beds. But overall there were some great ideas!
bulky furniture isn't out of style, I'm looking for a small 2 seater lounge and they don't have any in any store I've been in in Australia. They build smaller and smaller units but bigger and bigger lounges.
Never been fan of smart beds (bunk beds). I don't feel like making my bed or times when I run late. This smart beds needs me to do a whole lot more that too it's a everyday work.

Find a way to build it yourself. Your about to witness the indomitable human spirit😂😂😂

Moreover such a stuff is not too safe as you may easily harm yourself while moving its details.
It is possible in 248 carpet 1 Rk ?
How comfortable would a single mattress be on a flat plank of wood or flooring? Probably not very.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like the designs, but I hate "white". But I can put a tripoly of colors and textures together in a jiff.
can you just do a video about twin beds with storage
👍👍👏👏
And how mush $$$ for such convenience? 3 to 5 times the cost of normal furniture...
