Definitely one of your most viewed videos... and rightly so!!! 👍🤗 So many parallel tracks, the route goes up and down, hardly a minute goes by without different multiple units coming towards you: an impressive railway and city panorama! And a successful testimony of the current state of affairs... What will people say when they watch this video in 50 or 100 years??? Reminiscence of so-called better times or a pitying smile: "Oh, that's how backward people were back then...!?" Of course I haven't read all of your many comments about this wonderful journey in the best, soft sunlight - so I may be repeating myself ☺️ Best wishes 🖖
Thank you for your comment. This route started operation in 2001. It is a converted freight line that had become obsolete. I myself did not know where this route actually passed until I actually rode it. I have the impression that the discovery of this route suddenly revitalized the railway network centered on Tokyo. People living along the line must have been surprised. Until then, it was a rundown route with few trains running on it.
Thanks for this awesome video. I played the train game Densha De Go and kinda remember driving on this route but in reverse with the blue and silver trains. So cool to see this route in real time❤😊
Densha De Go! That's difficult. A professional driver said it was difficult. The reason is that he cannot physically feel the movement of the vehicle. Simple is the most difficult. Maybe someday everything will be self-driving. Thanks for your comment.
Thanks for your comment. When it comes to the Tokyo area, I recommend the railway in the central part of the capital, the Enoshima Electric Railway, and, although I haven't introduced it yet in my video, the Hakone Tozan Railway in the west of Kanagawa Prefecture.
Thanks for your comment. I'm happy to hear greetings from India, where railways opened before Japan. I would like to introduce more Japanese railways in the near future. Please look again.

Hello, thanks for this video, loved it! How do you call the middle car, the one with two floors (sorry, Im not a train expert) Do the imperial court still use trains nowadays?
Thanks for your comment. JR calls the double decker, which is connected to passing trains, the "Green Car." This is essentially first class, and the name was changed in the late 1960s when the system was revised and the fares for the previous first class were changed. The Imperial Court platform near Harajuku Station is currently hardly used. There are weeds growing there. The previous Emperor was a person who hated being given special treatment, and when he traveled by train, he refused to ride on the imperial train, and the platform was no longer used. I think this is something that we common people should welcome, but some people say that it has actually made security even more difficult.
