this idea of documenting civilian life in hyrule is very fun and interesting and I enjoy it a lot and I hope you keep making content. I will be liking every video to show support.
not quite a video idea, but i do want to say i love the idea of this being semi-linear? Youre currently living in Hateno as established in a prior video and that carried through to this one; you don't have a horse so you took the journey on foot; I like the idea of it being something you sequentially work on and each video's progress is based upon the work of the prior ones. Getting a horse could be a whole video, then taking that horse out for whatever you're trying to do that day and keeping their name and markings and tack consistent; things like that that make it linear are really going to make this stand out moreso than it already does. Incredible work as always; you came right out of the gate with incredible quality, a fun personality, and what seems like a really solid grasp on what makes a video good in terms of visuals, audio, scripting, and pacing. Excellent work!!!
Video Idea: This format is extremely enjoyable and if it was used for the other major towns it would be interesting as each have their own challenges for them.
video idea: How to visit Goron City. One of my goron buddies is mad that I never visit him, only the otherway around. It's easy for him to say when he can eat any rock on the side of the road!
Video idea: travel guides to some of hyrule’s best vacation spots! Satori mountain and some of the hot springs around the map come to mind. Id especially love to see satori mountain
Honestly, you are very quickly rising to one of my favorite TH-camrs! This way of thinking about Hyrule from the perspective of some normal guy is a topic that I would have never thought of, but I’m so glad that you did!
Video idea: Its always a good thing for an average Hylian to know how to defend themsleves in Hyrule! Maybe you should make a weapon manuel for every Hylian out there and who knows, maybe that strange traveler that lives in that house near Hateno could help
Yeah, good luck with getting Lonk to help: he's constantly running around and will just magically disappear straight in your face without warning. On the other hand: He will do ridiculous tasks for fairly little compensation, though, like fetch you some goron food ingredients half way across the country in return for a meal or something. So you never know.
Video idea: (sort of) Would really like to see how you get to some other settlements as well, like Lurelin or even as far as Rito Village! Also, personal opinions on the best stable? For things like location, supplies, but also the usual patrons you can chat up and just vibes haha
These are some of the most creative videos I've ever seen for Breath of the Wild! Not to mention the high quality and lovely editing. Loving these videos so much!
were any horses harmed in the making of that intro? (the one that got hit by the sentient boulder) also I love how you frame these! I genuinely can't think of a SINGLE thing you could do to make it better, just keep on doin what you're doin
Forget a horse, save up for whatever that motorcycle, or maybe it's owner's teleportation ipad. Who knows, maybe he'll sell it to you, for enough rupees!
1:32 As an average hylian, how did you get a map? That map you showed was from the Shekahslate.. if there's an average map, it would be way less detailed, and you got to hope people in town have one for you to look at/memorize.
Someone has been making copies of that huge map, all of them with a bunch of different stamps and colorful markings on these random geological formations. Whoever it is keeps dropping copy after copy! I guess they make so many that they just fall out of whatever bag they're kept in?
Video idea: since you are thinking about getting a horse, you could do one about your journey trying to find and tame one. I’ve heard rumors of some pretty strange horses out there… maybe you’ll stumble upon one
Video idea: The different activities you can do to have fun. I personally love exploring everything in Breath of Wild and I don't even really know the story of how Link's 100years and he still looks 18 Also how ganon was able to take over the whole world of hyrule.
A couple tips for travelers: When you do make it to Kakariko, pick up some of their traditional garb, it makes you stealthier and you can sneak past some monsters. Another tip I have is to carry some meat on you to throw the bokoblins’ way, as it makes a great distraction. Safe travels~
Early! Your videos are always awesome! They have such a professional feel even tho you just started and I applaud you for that. Keep up the amazing work!
Your channel is right up there with bread pirate and zeltik. That's insane. I can't believe your new. Your channel just HAS to be years old. It's impossible.
Oddly enough, and despite how absolutely *terrifying* they are, I've actually found that bokoblin-stalfos are easier to deal with than living bokoblins: Now, obviously, you *never* want to engage in a fight with a monster without proper equipment and training, and running is almost always the safer option than fighting, but if you are ever cornered by stalfos, remember that their bodies are surprisingly fragile, and swift hit with a sturdy tree branch can make them fall apart. Or even better, a single arrow to the skull will do the trick as well! HOWEVER, they are still dangerous! They will pull themselves back together in only a few seconds, but that can buy you the precious time you might need to escape.
A year ago I witnessed a weird chap bounce his shield upon a frozen enemy and dash into the clouds. It took me 6 months of training just to gain enough strength not to die upon launch and another two to gain enough grip strength not to lose hold of the glider that smoothens the fall. And even then, I almost died; blessed be Hylia I didn't. It is not the most accurate mode of transport, and can't be done too often, but it is certainly fast. Very, very frighteningly fast. Whoever that man was, he is a madman of the highest order.
Video idea: Based on the ingredients that can be hunted or gathered in each area, what are the signature dishes and/or elixirs of each region of Hyrule? And which foreign (outside of their region) dish/elixir would be beneficial for them if a restaurant were to open up? For example, you can find Chillshrooms near the Hebra region and Mount Lanayru. There is one vendor in Gerudo Town selling them, but it would be better if she could make it into a heat resistant elixir to sell to any travelers.
Watching these videos is making me want to play the fan made table top game "Zelda, Reclaim the Wild." Where you're *not* the hero trying to explore Hyrule.
I thought I had notify on then I saw this in my recommendations and realised I didn’t have bell on lol, I am so sorry for missing out on the one video you did in that time!
Video Idea: explain what jobs in hyrule are like and which one pay more or have more reasonable hours. (also cool video I had no idea that that little cooking are was under the bridge, I really does make you think how much time went into BotW!)
If you haven’t already left Kakariko Village, I’d stop by the clothes shop first. You can find a special outfit there that may help you sneak past monsters more easily
The high quality and awesome content aside. Your comment section is really as good as your content, it reminds me of ARGs where the players also interact with the creator in the fictional world they created if you get what I mean, pls dont stop creating awesome content dude!
Video idea: to get the money for your horse (and pay off your house mortgage), do trading trips between different towns. Choose trading good, explain their worth in various towns, and how much of a profit you might make. Of course not all trade good are equal, while Gerudos and Gorons might want to buy Hateno Milk, Zora and Ritos might find milk disgusting.
Gorons eat rocks, so I'm not sure they'd like milk... but that seems like it could be really fun, potentially combined with future travel videos. He'd need some money to get started, though, and a horse would also be a good investment for a travelling trader, I think.
You mentioned us commenting any ideas for videos we have, so here are my thoughts on this: Advertisements for the different shops/traders, guides for travel/holidays in the different regions, documentaries about specific animals/plants or the ecosystem of a region, hyian life hacks, whats the best job to have for an average hylian (in this economy‽)
Video idea: List the best places to make a quick but durable settlement for the long term trips! Saldy, not everyone has the luxury to get a house in one of the (very few) cities of Hyrule, and people like myself have to roam the land, using the ruins as temporary homes. But I'm sure that with the right tools and materials, I could be able to build some facilities around one of those safe remnants and make myself a house that could last me for months before I have to move again!
I know a hunter that only comes to town a month or so. He says there are some places like this if you know where to look, but warned against trying to find them without a guide, since most of them are a ways off the road... Anyway, he recommends Scout's Hill, and the building to the west of it IF you clear out the bones before nightfall. There's also the ruins of a village southeast of Batrea Lake, but you have to weave around like three monster camps to get there. The most defensible location in the area is Kolomo Garrison ruins, if you can take out a chuchu or two, which I certainly cannot but my hunter friend can.
How to travel safely. The M151A1 jeep is a ¼ ton truck/personnel transport, with a four wheel drive, containing a straight-four four-cylinder piston engine. The M2 Browning heavy-machine gun is a short recoil-operated .50 caliber machine gun with a rate of fire of 450-600 rounds/min and a muzzle velocity of 2,910 ft/s (890 m/s). The M72 LAW is a portable one-shot light anti-armor weapon with a effective firing range of 200 m (660 ft).
Well, if you're willing to do some hunting and fishing before and during each trip, and you're sneaky, you can 'appease' a monster camp by throwing meat into their midst before they spot you and sprinting past. They don't chase you forever. Unfortunately, doesn't work well if they do spot you. Can't really reason with 'em, can't bribe 'em, and can't beat anything stronger than a blue. There's a guy who keeps the roads clear. Think he does it for fun. Maybe ask him about the placement of monster camps and ambushes? You'll know him when you see him, he's always in some ridiculous getup or another and wielding weapons from like three separate cultures, along with that Shiekah block on his hip. Frankly, he's saved trade with Gerudo Town, there's always some great hinox lumox sleeping on the bridge after a blood moon. I don't particularly have an existence with bokos and the like, per se, but their ilk need to be beaten back from the roads. Though I have heard tell of a strange little fella with a monster obsession. Buys and sells monster stuff. Maybe he can help you out? Edit: hey, that Lynel in Lanayru Promenade is weirdly chill. I've taken his road before, and, yeah, it's feckin terrifying to be stared down by him, but if you skirt the outer edge of his territory, and don't draw a weapon, he won't kill you! Of course, then I had to come back, and go back around him, because everything else on Lanayru Promenade WILL try to kill you, and I could just feel him judging me. I've started visiting that lynel, and leaving an offering of whatever is my biggest cut of meat. Maybe some day, we could be on friendly terms...
Video idea: Document the activities of the strange hylian that lives across the Hateno bridge. If you can get his consent, of course.

this idea of documenting civilian life in hyrule is very fun and interesting and I enjoy it a lot and I hope you keep making content. I will be liking every video to show support.
Thank you!!
not quite a video idea, but i do want to say i love the idea of this being semi-linear?
Video Idea: Not any wild stuff with lots of planning, but just an average day in
hateno village
I absolutely love your videos! It's crazy to think you just started!
Same, your videos are top quality
Video Idea: This format is extremely enjoyable and if it was used for the other major towns it would be interesting as each have their own challenges for them.
Video idea: proposal locations! Beautiful, scenic, or otherwise memorable locations in Hyrule to propose to a loved one
video idea: How to visit Goron City.
Wow, thank you!!
What a journey! I'm sure these travel tips will come in handy next time I need to visit a nearby settlement. Thank you. :)
Video idea: short term money making ventures! Like finding ore deposits or selling monster parts
Oh ty! Havent really travelled around Hyrule that much, and I just chilled in town lol, so this is a good plan!
Video idea: how the average hylian deals with the looming threat of the calamity
Video idea: disguise yourself as a lizalfos and live with some for a week. Would be dangerous but entertaining
Video Idea: What is the mysterious glowing observatory overlooking Hateno Village?
video idea: where certain materials can be found throughout hyrule. like agriculture and scavenging in hyrule or something like that
Ooh, I like this one. I think different mining nodes have different drop rates, too.
Video idea: (sort of) Would really like to see how you get to some other settlements as well, like Lurelin or even as far as Rito Village! Also, personal opinions on the best stable? For things like location, supplies, but also the usual patrons you can chat up and just vibes haha
"You want to see grandma. Too bad!" Oh my goodness haha
Video Idea: Best easy-to-prepare foods that an average Hylian can make. Baked apples can only satisfy you for so long!
Video Idea: A journey up to the Akala region to document the region, this could make for a nice multi part vid.
This guys definitely gonna get kidnapped by the yiga sometime
These are some of the most creative videos I've ever seen for Breath of the Wild! Not to mention the high quality and lovely editing. Loving these videos so much!
These videos are amazing! Most people never think about these things, this really shows a whole new side of BOTW
I hope (and would assume it probably will) that the sequel will have the same charm care and detail into it as the first
were any horses harmed in the making of that intro? (the one that got hit by the sentient boulder)
also I love how you frame these! I genuinely can't think of a SINGLE thing you could do to make it better, just keep on doin what you're doin
Somehow the horse survived, in fact it didn’t even get hit by the boulder! Me on the other hand… might be a while before I try that stunt again
@@youraveragehylian make some videos fr9myour Freinds like your average zor or Rito etc
My cardio can't take this much walking! I'll have to sell my hylian 'shrooms to afford a horse!
Forget a horse, save up for whatever that motorcycle, or maybe it's owner's teleportation ipad. Who knows, maybe he'll sell it to you, for enough rupees!
Video idea: wildlife in hyrule and their varied adaptations and habitats (lizards and bugs especially!)
Awesome video. I would rly like to see this same concept applied to different areas of Hyrule such as getting to Zora’s domain or rito village
Yeah I really want that too
Zora’s domain would be interesting because of all the monster camps on the path
Video idea: since you are thinking about getting a horse, you could do one about your journey trying to find and tame one. I’ve heard rumors of some pretty strange horses out there… maybe you’ll stumble upon one
I wouldnt mind more of these type of videos. Hateno to lurelin, kakoriko to Zoras domain and rito village to kakoriko to name a few
Video idea:
The different activities
you can do to have fun.
I personally love
exploring everything
in Breath of Wild and
I don't even really
know the story of
how Link's 100years
and he still looks 18
Also how ganon was
able to take over the
whole world of hyrule.
Video idea: say the 5 most dangerous and 5 safest regions for an average Hylian to live in.
A couple tips for travelers: When you do make it to Kakariko, pick up some of their traditional garb, it makes you stealthier and you can sneak past some monsters.
Another tip I have is to carry some meat on you to throw the bokoblins’ way, as it makes a great distraction. Safe travels~
Talus: **Throws rocks at a Farm**
Farmer: What else is new.
I want to see a vacation journey where you go to your vacation village
Early! Your videos are always awesome! They have such a professional feel even tho you just started and I applaud you for that. Keep up the amazing work!
Your channel is right up there with bread pirate and zeltik. That's insane. I can't believe your new. Your channel just HAS to be years old. It's impossible.
Oddly enough, and despite how absolutely *terrifying* they are, I've actually found that bokoblin-stalfos are easier to deal with than living bokoblins:
Now, obviously, you *never* want to engage in a fight with a monster without proper equipment and training, and running is almost always the safer option than fighting, but if you are ever cornered by stalfos, remember that their bodies are surprisingly fragile, and swift hit with a sturdy tree branch can make them fall apart.
Video idea: you should make a documentary on the flora and fauna of hyrule. I think it would be interesting to learn more about it.
Video idea: since you’re a filmmaker, go on a tour of hyrule and show us the cool sights! (Maybe a series?)
These are quickly becoming some of my favorite videos to just sit back and watch. Great job!
Video Idea: Meet the weird girl looking above hateno
Video Idea: explain what jobs in hyrule are like and which one pay more or have more reasonable hours.
(also cool video I had no idea that that little cooking are was under the bridge, I really does make you think how much time went into BotW!)
Video idea: trade between the different peoples and towns.
If you haven’t already left Kakariko Village, I’d stop by the clothes shop first. You can find a special outfit there that may help you sneak past monsters more easily
I don’t know how you have done so good despite having done 3 videos but you have
The high quality and awesome content aside. Your comment section is really as good as your content, it reminds me of ARGs where the players also interact with the creator in the fictional world they created if you get what I mean, pls dont stop creating awesome content dude!
The community response has been amazing :D
Video idea: to get the money for your horse (and pay off your house mortgage), do trading trips between different towns. Choose trading good, explain their worth in various towns, and how much of a profit you might make. Of course not all trade good are equal, while Gerudos and Gorons might want to buy Hateno Milk, Zora and Ritos might find milk disgusting.
Gorons eat rocks, so I'm not sure they'd like milk... but that seems like it could be really fun, potentially combined with future travel videos. He'd need some money to get started, though, and a horse would also be a good investment for a travelling trader, I think.
People keep stealing my pot lid... It's so annoying, I don't know who keeps doing it! It's like after they get it they just vanish into thin air...
Video idea: Where a Zora/Goron/Orni would live if him/her decide to leave his hometown? Same concept that your first video but with other race.
Vidéo idea : vacation ideas and/or Monster documenterie
Hmm, the vacation sounds interesting.
Yeah
Lurelin is the best vacation destination, that's a fact!
I mean wild spots that are like semi safe
This is an almost perfect video, good job :)
I've been checking everyday to see if you posted and I'm so happy😁
Your Average Hylian, I was wondering, what do you plan on doing after you are done with your whole series of living in Hyrule?
I would love to see more videos like this! :D wonderful job on it!
Video idea your average hylian meets link again
8:15 Wait, that's so relatable.
Dude- love the videos! Keep it up :D
Video idea: Bird species of Hyrule
How to travel safely.
The M151A1 jeep is a ¼ ton truck/personnel transport, with a four wheel drive, containing a straight-four four-cylinder piston engine.
The M2 Browning heavy-machine gun is a short recoil-operated .50 caliber machine gun with a rate of fire of 450-600 rounds/min and a muzzle velocity of 2,910 ft/s (890 m/s).
The M72 LAW is a portable one-shot light anti-armor weapon with a effective firing range of 200 m (660 ft).
Do a video on the worst job in Hyrule and why it's pottery.
Actually Lynels don’t attack you if you don’t pull out your weapon or get too close to them so you should be fine
First, I already know this is gonna be awesome!
Edit: Definitely was, crazy to think this is only your third video!
I love your videos!❤ Im excited to see you grow!
You should make a video about the anicent sheikah machinery.
Video idea: more of whatever you are doing it’s great
"Want to go visit Grandma? TOO BAD!" not even 20 seconds in and I'm already sold on the comedy
Fun fact: Lionels will let you pass them if you don't have any weapons equipped.
Video Idea: Following a Gerudo girl on her quest to travel Hyrule and find a husband.
