Something useless about the game itself: Shen, Akali, Kennen, and Zed used to do one less damage when they were on the same team together. It was something along the lines of "Ninjas work alone." And it was referenced in the Fates set of Teamfight Tactics.

@@platiuscyndar9017 This just reminded me of a "normal" game I played a few years ago. We had a Kayle AND an Anivia jg. Anivia d/c'd early on and by the time she finally comes back, the rest of us are defending base. But Anivia decides that it's as good of time as any to mindlessly wander the jungle with no vision... where the entire enemy team wo0uld be waiting in a bush every single time. Anivia rage quit, not that it made a difference, then we lost. Lol.
6:21 was a missed opportunity to tell everyone Malphite's punch on the ground left the original Riot symbol.
Initially, Fiora's reworked ult was supposed to teleport her and a chosen enemy to a random part of the map for a death duel and the winner was supposed to be taken back to where Fiora casted her ult and receive some buffs, but it was scrapped because Riot thought it would be too OP against supports. Funny they gave it to Mordekaiser years later tho
Many recent champions have been revisiting old ideas that were scrapped at one point in time for various reasons ^^;

Fun Fact: Evelynn has a "Mood" gimmick in some of her recal animations. The director of her rework mentioned it but doesn't remember what trigger's it but she'll either flirty wave at the player or flare her claws aggressively, i'm assuming based on KDA or on whether you got a kill or not before you recalled. I assuming it's getting a kill or not because i'v had bad KDA's on her and still saw her wave, so KDA shouldn't be the trigger to make her wave.
velkoz, along with zed, doesn't really die in his animation. His eye remains intact, pops out, looks around, and flies back to spawn, suggesting that he is not the actual body of Vel'Koz, merely the eye. Quite literally "the eye of the void."
Hm... But isn't it just the exact same color and shape as the eye of the herald? Really makes you think.

Lux's ultimate was called "infinite light" for literally one minipatch. It was known for much longer as Finales Funkeln
there was a time that pool party skins with sunglasses took 1 less damage from leona R. Zombie brand also has a different walking animation when nearing enemies; this works when they are in fog of war also.

I liked how dynamic Slay Bell Katerina's recall was... don't know why they changed it....
They said it "didn't fit Katarina's character" which is why it was removed. Whether this means that pole dancing fits Nidalee's character or that Nidalee simply is super old and hasn't been updated yet is technically unknown.

The nasus hat thing also worked on Cassio before she got her no boots passive because the joke was how would they wear boots they have no feet. Also Lux's original ult was called Finales Funkeln (basically final spark in german) as a reference to a fighting game character she was inspired by.

In season 3, there was a point where Kassadin had a 99.55% pick/ban rate (with a 96% ban rate) in ranked and a 100% pick/ban rate in the pros (it could be that there was one game in NA where nobody picked or banned him, but I'm not sure) until they reworked him in season 4.
Imagine current Kassadin, but with a longer ult range for a cost of 50 mana, perma lichbane, a 2 sec silence and higher AP scaling. You just stalled the game till Kassadin reached lvl 16 and you've won the game. Some teams even surrendered preemptively when he hit 16 to save time. It was ridicolous.

All of Vlad's quotes are blood jokes, none should be taken seriously, it's all puns like "Be negative" being a blood type, or saying "The clot thickens" instead of plot
There are actually numerous champions that don't die when they die. Ekko is a pretty good example

I don't know if these were jokes or were removed but:
Champions with a skin where they have sunglassess take 1 less damage from Leona's R
Having multiple Ninjas in the same team would reduce the HP of every Ninja in the team by 1 for each Ninja in the team. Because Ninjas prefere to work alone.
Also Cyberpop Zoe is a reference to Futaba Sakura. Not only her look but even her voicelines, heck she is so much into that, that it's borderline a straight copy. She even says "we are Zoe and we are going to hack you" which is a reference to Futaba's "We are Medjed and we'll hack you"
I used to be obsessed with Elise’s loading screen you could even turn on and off the voice (god I miss log in screens)
