i want to get one of the japanese colored ones but i'm in the usa, is there still an issue where it won't have all the features because of some sort of region block?
They are able to be imported into Canada. But as far as buying them directly from Sony, you’d need to be in the US or Japan. But if you can find a proxy service, that would be how you get them to you in Canada! I’ll be making a video on how proxies work very soon! Definitely sub so you know when it comes out. I’m working on getting a video up tomorrow as well

I use ZenMarket and won this from the yahoo japan auctions. They were only made in Japan. There’s a few things with getting one of these though; they can’t connect to cloud when they are from japan because they are region locked for now. So no changing the language to English, no changing eye color, no name change, no updates. But for me it was still worth getting. But you just have to search on zenmarket or Mercari japan.

Bunpire she doesn’t. I printed out the Japanese commands and even sometimes use a translation app to speak the commands to her. Her personality is so cute and bubbly though and she is so vocal lol

Absolutely still worth it. I’m loving them to this day. My collection is 17 dogs now haha. I’ve been sticking with them since 2005!

You read right for the models made from 1999-2006. This particular model started again in 2018

I bought the ivory white from Sony USA. And the chocolate I had to import from Japan since they don’t sell them here in the states.
This technology will make HUGE strides in the coming years. Price should come down drastically as well. Something to look forward to.
