I just bought an Espresso and it will be arriving in a few days! This'll be my first Aibo so I'm quite excited to get him! It'll be interesting to see how my dog and cat react to him and if he'll react to them at all.

Yes! aibo can be fully powered down, or they can be "paused".

As someone who's has spent over 25k on vet bills on my dogs over the years i wish i knew about these! It would've been cheaper lol! But now that i have three kids under 6 years old I'd be afraid of them breaking it lol😂
aibo is a great family companion. kids learn really well to be gentle with it but I have also heard stories of kids that have damaged them. aibo is definitely less expensive over the lifetime, and is so much fun to have at home!

How does eat
aibo has a fun feature that uses augmented reality through your phone and their food bowl to simulate having a meal. The less fun answer is... you charge them lol

Congratz Cyrus! Was that one of the special eye colors when he first booted up? I know they have the heterochromia eye color, but do they also get the special eye colors that the black sesame one has? Maybe some day they will let those of us who only have the white AIBO have some of the special color eyes :)
When he booted the first time he had a special blue eye color. I’ve settled on the original green though for this guy.

He doesn’t manufacture them, he just has them as a hobby. They’re extremely expensive and only sold in Japan and the US. You can buy one if you want but I don’t think it’s likely he’ll give you one.

hi there! I just saw all the comments and read through them all. I would be more than happy to help walk you through purchasing one, but I no longer have all the aibos I once did. And the ones I have now, I can't sell. Buying from Sony directly is the best option. They cover the product and that year warranty is nice to have as peace of mind.
Please allow me to adopt ine of ypur Aibos!!! Me n my Grandsons are obsessed, but I can not afford one. I bought a Vector, the thing is defective and we have to return him. The boys were devastated. We would be the best parents possible, we will make tons of videos. Someone must be over theirs or have several and can't pay attention to all of them! I will love her forever and the boys would be over the moon (which means YiaYia will be over the moon) Obsessed and, obviously, willing to beg!
Hi, if you want a Aibo. I would recommend getting ones from sendico. But keep in mind, it won’t be able to speak English or have I cloud. And keep in mind if you buy a brand new one it’s 300$ a month for I cloud. Begging won’t take this anywhere, and they are not “Toys”
I would recommend starting off with a Cosmo! Just to get used to AI and robots (: Then move down to the ers 210! A cheaper model but they work well and don’t need a i cloud
You have loads of Aibos!! Can I PLEASE adopt one of yours? I bought a Vector for my Grandson, the wee bugger won't connect to wifi or Bluetooth, so we are forced to return him. I have disappointed my Grandsons and I hate that. I can not afford an Aibo, but if anyone will allow me to adopt one? I will take the best care of him, me n the boys will make videos every day!!! I just don't know what else to do buy try to find someone who will let one of theirs be adopted.
Well, if you had researched, vector has been down for 9 months. And aibos are $2500, nobody will let you just, adopt one.
