The rear fender is what really makes this for Jr. "If the rear of the bike doesn't look exactly like the rear of the car, then we have failed"... and he absolutely nailed it.
@@travislindsey7256 I would agree with you on that. I mean they’re great if you want low riders, but like I don’t like them on cars, but in this case to park a chopper or motorcycle I think they’re pretty sweet. Otherwise to me air right suspension really does not have any place in the auto industry other than to be cool but then again I don’t know that much about cars so I really can’t say that. I guess it has its place in the industry.
Jason has no creativity. Sure he’s good on the computer and the pictures look pretty, but when you design organically like Jr does, you’re always going to have something far superior. Jr’s bike is far and away the better one.
I have to agree with you. I do think junior’s bike is much much better seniors bike is just you know traditional junior’s Bike he went above and beyond and hopefully the people at Cadillac were happy with what they saw.
Cadillac told Sr to take his bike back home with him he missed the assignment. Junior nailed it. And I love the audiences reaction when Junior's airbags deflated you can hear their amazement. We can see where the real talent comes from and it's not senior
Jason takes pieces from here and there and bolts and welds. Jr is an artist who brings visions to life. No comparison no contest; Jr's bike is epic!!!!!
The shit eating grin on Sr and his boys when Jr pulls up and sits down on those air bags is priceless. Jr made the company stand out from the rest. Sr has a bunch of corporate type pencil pusher and CAD designers there who lack real artistic talent.
Please. The son had no respect for the father in the least. All the old man wanted was for the kid to SHOW UP ON TIME FOR WORK and to DO SOME WORK instead of STANDING AROUND watching everyone else do something.
@@woeuntousall2611 JR made that business. He's an artist. Yet his father looked down on him as a son that never lived up to expectations. Look at them today. Sr is losing in life and Jr is slaying it.
Paul jr made occ. he even made the logo. From the early episodes he was the 1 putting his ideas into every build. They were his designs that were making people go wow. Even as you watched the build from beginning to end and craziness of the show when the finished bike was shown I was always amazed at how everything came together. His father never respected his talent and put a ton of negative energy to every mistake or flaw jr made instead of realizing the most important person in custom building or designing anything is the creator. Let it be motorcycles, cars, guitars, or whatever. Junior built mind blowing show pieces. Jessie James poked that his bikes were not rideable. Well most choppers are extremely difficult to ride because of the rake of the front end. That is why not 1 major motorcycle manufacturer builds 1. Most choppers are built for show. The second build off that the guys from fast and loud were in,built the only bike that was not totally custom but by far the bike I wanted to ride. In both build off shows you could tell from the builds of senior and James that they were afraid of what Paul Jr was going to build.
Sr built OCC Jr was lucky to have his father bring him in on his business. I can't believe people really believe Jr got the short end, lol. In the end he fucked his dad over by leaving. Sr had good points, Jr was lazy if you actually watched the show.
I loveeee jr's bike especially the rear part of the bike, the exhaust and the mind blowing kick stand especially the silence when he was doing it at 1:52.
Paul keep being a humble man like you are. The LORD will take further then you could even imagine. Your pop sees it in you too he just doesn't know how to exspress himself. He's old skool
Sr. was so busy timing when Jr. came into work each morning, when he left for lunch, when he got back from lunch, and when he left for the day, and also became engrossed with arguing with Jr., and hardly ever allowing his own Son to defend the choices that he made, that it came down to just that one morning, when Sr. called Jr. into the Office, and started in on him again. That was the straw that broke the Camel's back. Jr. lost all patience with Sr., grabbed the Chair he'd been sitting in, slammed it to the floor, and walked out! Sr. just couldn't seem to keep from picking on Jr. about every little thing, and Jr. did what I would do:He walked away from that horrid situation and, in doing so, made the best decision of his life! Then he started Paul Jr. Designs. He had to wait for awhile to do that, as he was under a non-compete clause from his old Contract. Once that date passed, though, Jr. went to work, finding a building, and making his own stuff. Paulie never wanted to fight or argue with his Pops. He loved him! However, in this case, enough was enough. He did what he had to do.
Junior's bike! All day, every day. I love Jr's creativity. That Black widow bike he did long ago sold me on his ability, completely. He's fantastic, and I couldn't be more happy for him that the finally left his toxic father's business. As far as I'm concerned, he had had supernatural help that allowed him to stay in that environment as long as he did. I'm glad Senior has changed a lot in the last few years, and he's not as nerve grinding as he used to be. But if there ever comes a time that I want a custom bike build, Junior is gonna be the one to do it.
Just loved it when Jr. came in with his bike and revved it a few times when he stopped - I think he knew just from looking at Sr.'s bike from the front that he destroyed them. Then when he lowered it - priceless. Jr. is the real deal - all heart and his designs are what made OCC famous. Good luck to the nerds they have working there now.
JR's bike looks complete and a well thought out design, while SR's looks like he grabbed parts off a parts counter and assembled it on the trailer on the way out to the unveiling.
I noticed that nearly all of the comments about these bikes weren't about the bikes, but Jr and Sr and their difference in designs. Sr had a gorgeous, old school feel to his bike. Jr had a modern type bike which was pretty cool. Elegant design, sleek shape. I give both of them a 10.
I'm sorry but when Jesse James, Sr., and Jr. did their build-off, Jesse's bike was far and away the best bike. I hate the guy, he's an egotistical jerk. But his bike was bad-ass. His "theme"? A Motorcycle theme. I love that.
Seniors bike looks like you can actually ride it. While Juniors looks like you can't really, it's only for show. If I had to pick a bike to own to ride... it would be seniors.
two great bikes here. Looking at Sr's bike, I'm having a hard time finding anything I don't really like. it's a great bike. In fact, if I had to pick one for myself as a daily driver, I'd pick Sr's bike (more compact, not as stretched, would fit me better). That said, when you get away from Sr's bike and move towards Jr's bike, it's on a whole another level. That's when you feel that Sr's creation is best enjoyed for what it is, on its own. In a head-to-head competition like this, though, it's just hard to compare the two. it's almost like comparing a Porsche GT2 (Sr.s bike) with a Pagani Huayra (Jr.'s bike). given that custom choppers are all about expression and design, I'd have to give the win to Paul Jr.
They love each other. Sr. loves his son with his father heart. They just have different positions about creation and assembling being Sr. old fashioned and Jr with more opened mind. Resuming they can't work together at all BUT deep in his heart Sr. is proud bout Jr running his own business and rocking!
