weird take but Rondo is actually my favourite boss of this expansion. it has no safe zones, soft stealth mechanics, and your targets are very dynamic despite it being technically a stationary boss. also the sound design is ridiculous and i love it.

If side order took place in a mindscape (such as the trauma ridden mind of agent 8) then my view on it would be much different, but even then it still feels underwhelming, especially with the bosses. Instead we got “Teehee it’s a computer simulation Marina made!” and that just felt so… basic
Why does the Asynchronous Rondo sound like it’s in pain? The sounds it makes before you ride the cage sound pained, or possibly like it’s trying to sing anything familiar just to cling onto the last bit of consciousness is has before being totally taken over by Order. It kinda scares me, honestly.
Honest to god this boss keeps me up at night in the best way possible. The voice has the most DISTRESSING sound to it that feels so alien to the splatoon we know. It sounds like a wind up baby doll put through a meat grinder. Like maybe a recording the machine had and thats all it has to communicate. It just keeps replaying it. But what creeps me out the most is when it sounds like crying during the bomb rush/wail rush. What in the FRESH HELL is happening there. I love it

I still would have like to see him to some capacity. Maybe confirmation of his death or atleast a passing mention. On top of that I like the idea of his consciousness being transferred digitally is cool. Him and order essentially try and do the same thing just different methods.
Well, the Memverse was made using data from the company Tartar was part of, so who knows? Order might be a backup of Tartar which saw how Marina was originally focused on Order, and used that as their goal.
With the Dlc coming In waves I wouldn't put it past them to do that. Like one big endgame DLC. Would be a good place to pay off on the implication that little jud is a villain that we've had for awile.

And to get you're basically replaying it over for 12 times, nowhere close to 24 hours, so yes, I would expect them to beat this game in a day span

One design had him as a large blender with human eyes and teeth and another was a mechanical spider like design that shows him coming out of the phone which in the concept seemed to just be a facade and was using it as a disguise for his real body. Something that was changed to him just being the phone itself. There's plenty of videos covering it.

I gotta say, this was a very interesting DLC, in more ways than one, The Story was pretty fascinating and so were the Bosses, i really do appreciate that Side Order didn’t go the same Route as Octo Expansion did with it’s Bosses and actually had it’s own unique Bosses. Also i feel like this DLC had the best Boss Themes in the entire Series so far, By the way, aside from the First and Final Bosses, it seemed like the Game just had you go straight into the Boss without a presentation or an introduction or any kind of Cutscene whatsoever, it just had you go straight to the Fight, as interesting as I think that was, was that due to you already having done the Bosses before or is that how it is when you first do the Bosses too? Side Order made me appreciate Marina and Pearl’s relationship so much more. Marina lived a life where she lived at the will of others, living orderly from day to day doing what others told her too, but Pearl was that loud presence and chaos in her life that made her realize it’s okay for things to change and for her to explore what she wants.
Had to remove this video from my recommendations yesterday. I looked away in time, but I’m sure a lot of other people got spoiled by the thumbnail. Genuinely uncool behaviour imo, it’s not hard to censor it, at least for the first week

I like how the bosses in Side Order are not total Reskins of Bosses in the Main Story like in Splatoon 2's Octo Expansion.
Well, to be fair the Octo Expansion versions were harder, more powerful versions than the main story.

you mean the very last phase that is almost impossible to lose because you gain literally every color chip and exists more as a nice power trip and cutscene

People like him have no respect for the process of how a game is made. Games made by Triple-A studios weren’t meant to be beaten, have it all posted, and spoiled within a DAY.

Side Order made me appreciate Marina and Pearl’s relationship so much more. Marina lived a life where she lived at the will of others, living orderly from day to day doing what others told her too, but Pearl was that loud presence and chaos in her life that made her realize it’s okay for things to change and for her to explore what she wants.
