I study voice acting in Italy and have a good idea of what "good voice acting" is in most languages and i can tell you that the only good ones are the original and german is aight, the rest are dreadful

This is a free voiceover (pirated), the original is done professionally - but you have to pay a sub. It's because Russia is the fastest to translate with dubbing (we just hate to read subtitles - only dubbing). So we found a way to quickly make a translation with dubbing. I can say this (and every time for absolutely every anime the same scenario): 1) Japanese dubbing, 2) Russian dubbing 3) all the other countries dubbing/making subtitles Since the original voices of actors are not removed - to voice translation in Russian takes 1-1,5 hours - then you can safely watch.
@@kairosan5483 You get used to watching this kind of stuff (you watch one episode for about 5 minutes and you don't pay attention anymore). Well, at least we don't watch it with subtitles, as many people do. Although it is worth noting that more and more anime are officially translated - it's good :). But until the anime creators themselves will not provide the source code - the other way you can not get a voice :(. We kind of have the first movie "home alone" also dubbed, the next parts have an official translation. But here it is not surprising, the creators did not know whether the film will pay off at all and did not take the risk.
It doesn't always have to be true to the original. It just has to fit the character, his personality and each situation. That's why the English and Arab dub don't fit at all. My favorites are: Japanese, German and French.
In my opinion English is pretty good it'll never be better than the original but what counts is that the people had enough love for the show to even do a dub
