Hi! I am convinced about Anker motion plus but my requirement is for a 15*12 or a 10*10 room. Since party speaker is mentioned, is it too much of a power and will I be playing at very low volumes that the optimum performance from the device can't be enjoyed? My requirement is a long term device for good musical exp and pod cast/TH-cam listening. Or should I go for tagg sonic angle Or tribit? Budget wise I am ok

So glad that anker motion+ can handle lower bass frequency in lower volume. when pushes in high volume, it's more on upper bass. I have this two speakers, in terms of outdoor loudness, the motion+ is more louder. Charge 5 looses its bass in high volume simple because it doesn't have upper bass, and the speaker empower the mid and high.

Achei super qualidade sonora e em relação ao custo benefício a anker está muito a frente. A JBL carrega uma tradição ótima e não deixa a desejar, porém seus preços são bem mais altos. Battery life actually depends from person to person based on the volume level you're playing it at and the content as well.
So,in most cases,their advertised battery life is based on 60% volume.

You are missing one thing on the placement of the tweeters on both speakers , combined with a 10 w difference and JBL has a tendency to tune their speakers emphasizing the highs and bass. Just the location of the tweeters to your relative location facing the speaker will factor in on the presumed clarity of the highs.the soundcore has the tweeters on the far side front, where the JBL has the tweeters full front facing. The soundcore boom, would blow the JBL away especially with bass even at the same wattage as the soundcore motion +. Allen Ross has a great custom settings for both the motion plus and boom….. watch his video on it.. ..you seem to like bass so ,you’d probably like his custom settings.I think heavy makes it too muddy.

The motion plus is the best budget HiFi speaker out there now... Clarity with a combination of sudle mids and slight emphasis on mid range bass. On heavy eq setting, the highs and mids get muddy... Not the clarity you can get from customizing the eq yourself.

Nice video man!! Please test it against the Anker motion boom! I have both Anker motion plus and Anker motion boom and the boom is better for me it has better battery life and bass it even competes against JBL xtreme 3 and wins in some areas and also for much better price :3
Since the release of Anker SoundCore Motion Boom Plus, the need for Anker SoundCore Motion Boom has disappeared.
Anker SoundCore Motion Boom Plus is generally better in absolutely everything.
But this is a speaker of a different weight category than the Anker SoundCore Motion Plus.
Yeah, also $80 more with lesser battery life.

I own both and at stock, Charge 5 sounds better. With Alan Ross’s EQ settings. Anker sounds a lot more powerful, balanced and enjoyable to listen to. There’s a lot more power behind its music.
Charge 5 outperforms in terms of bass, sub bass and bass can be felt. Anker also has solid bass albeit slightly less but definitely more than enough for most people.
At a fraction of the price and better portability I’d say Motion+ is the way to go. Go for Charge 5 if you value bass over everything else and do not mind the weight and price. Both are good and I enjoy both for different purposes!

You will understand why the TH-cam comparsions with no EQ (or factory EQ's) on Anker SM+ make absolutely no sense.
I like my own preset more then any others (Alan Ross's, Oluv's from OluvsGadgets and many more) because I like deep, dark, elastic, mild, thick, heavy, warm sound. Not too bright, sharp and tiring. Therefore I like Sony SRS-XB sound (have and had 14 different speakers) more then JBL sound (have and had 12 different speakers).
Alan Ross EQ is not the best. Maybe it have a more flat amplitude-frequency response, but not the best sound. IMHO.
What people dont realize is that if you are a console gamer the motion plus will beat every single blutooth speaker because it can produce perfect highs with foot steps atmosphere and fx sounds that are usually muffled by other speakers that are more focused on base. The soundcore has a built in on board equlizer which is saved on the speaker itself so even if your console doesnt have an eq(ps4 nintendo switch xbox) your frequency settings will work on them without an eq. Infact it would be impossible for most speakers without a built in eq to compare to a speaker with on board eq. Sadly most people dont know about this nor do they focus on it. Eq puts even $50 speakers on steroids.

@@udayakumarp452 with Ross Alan EQ, Distortion occurs but at more than 80% volume. Even at max volume Ross Alan EQ can harm the woofer coils and cones.

Of course. JBL Charge 2+ is amazing speaker... For its time.
I bought it recently out of nostalgic feelings and immediately sold it.
If you need a compact speaker, I highly recommend Anker SoundCore Boost Upgrade or JBL Flip 5 (or Flip 6).
If larger, then Sony SRS-XB 3X models or Anker Soundcore Motion Plus. But only with a custom equalizer (read my comments here). Without an equalizer, Motion+ sounds terrible.

Don't buy JBL I purchased a JBL flip. After 4 months I started to hear distortion in the music. For the service we need to go to the service center, customer have no option to describe the issue. They have specific error code. Like "04" which maps to issues with the device. But in my case I only hear distortion in specific frequencies. Which I cannot explain in the service form.
I got service within 10 days. But issue not solved. I have gone to the service center 3 times. I got frustrated.
What a bad service from JBL.
Now it is out of warranty. I am using it as a paper weight.
At the same time anker offer 18 months warranty. When I had a fast battery draining issue, I raised a complaint through email. I got response very fast. They picked the product from doorstep. And replaced speaker. It was brand new. Very happy with the service!!!♥️

I had a sony xb 32, and now im willing to buy this. Can anyone tell me if its better or even equal to sony.
My answer is higher (with EQ for Motion Plus)
Now (today) I have a Sony SRS-XB 13, SRS-XB 21, pair of SRS-XB 30, one SRS-XB 31, one SRS-XB 40, pair of SRS-XB 41, pair of SRS-XB 43.
I also have Anker SoundCore Motion Plus (and others Anker's) too.
But I have no SRS-XB 32 (95-99% equal sound with SRS-XB 31 judging by binaural comparisons from my favorite TH-cam sound reviewers: Speaker Toni, GymCaddy, oluv's gadgets, DLX Willington, "Такой Обзор" (Russian reviewer) and others).
My opinion is. If you have SRS-XB 32 you no need Motion Plus.
But if you are geek (like me) and love to customise equalizer you can buy Anker.
Motion Plus have more playtime and little brighter and promoted, forwarded sound from speaker.
And many, many other advantages.
SRS-X3 are amazing speakers (especially with EQ, for XB 31 my preset is is 6/0/4, but I love warm muffled sound, such as Sony, not JBL) and you will have no much improvement by comparison with Sony. Maybe even a deterioration.
If you need compact speaker I recommend Anker SoundCore Boost Upgraded (not Sound Core 3 and even more so no SoundCore 3) or else JBL Flip 5 (or Flip 6).
Strongly do not Sony SRS-XB 21 or Flip 3.
Maybe JBL Flip 4 too, but most likely not too.
If you do not need compact speaker, you have one of the best already.

It depend on the distance between you and your speaker, if under 1 meters motion plus with EQ on of course the sparation sound detail is good, more than that the sound is almost the same sparation detail as mono on charge 5, both of these two speakers is loud. but charge 5 has a better deep bass and slightly on the highs. The diferrence is vocal sound charge 5 is like on the front and the motion + is on the middle from i heard
May be its mono or stereo Soundcore never misses the detail . While JbL did miss the bass and detailing
We had chance to compare them and soundcore have much better bass and sound is more rich. So glad I prefered it over JBL.

Just buy JBL charge 5 really awesome sound and that bass MY god.......
