The red Z is mine. Very pleased with the remote tune. The car was dyno tuned twice prior to Frans remote tune and his is much better without even having the damn car. Oh and the cam is Texas Speed’s 4.2 LS7 grind.
@@ssoffshore5111 The heads are PRC 265’s and it’s a ported MSD with a NW103. The drivability is still a little rowdy down low as expected with a cam with those specs. Frans tune did clean it up some over the previous tunes. I think it drives ok for such a radical cam but that’s obviously very subjective. I still take it on road trips.
@@D_Morgan Thank you for the info! I'm just trying to get some direction on what others have done and what I want to do with mine. I appreciate the response...
If anything there is more "left on the table" with a dyno tune. The street or track is the real world where the car will be driven. You cant simulate air moving over the car doing 140mph on a dyno. He did a remote tune on one of our builds car runs perfectly.
This is literally exactly what I was looking for!!! I'm doing your guy's Stage 4 over the winter, and really wanted Fran's tuning as well, but getting the car down there is a bit of a chore. This is awesome...thanks so much guys!
I just remote tuned my 2012 C6 Vette. Man it is opened up . Fran has to be the most patient guy ever lol . I didn’t make it easy. Thanks again to RPM and I will definitely be back for more! Loddo out!
I'm from dallas texas.... uow do you go about getting a remote tune...after seeing everyone blow motors here local tune not an option😅😅..2010 auto coupe, vararam, billy boat bullets,x pipe..nothing else..what is needed on my end is the question
So is this a live tune where the tuner can take over my laptop remotely and tune my car using my HP tuner? Or email only?? I have a gen3 camaro that’s been genV LT swapped and it’s lean AF I just got it driving a few weeks ago looking for a tuner I can trust and available

How many 1/4 mile hits did u get out of the stock clutch?
Only attempted 2. I might have taken more but I was having trouble with it not releasing all the way on the launch. It still held good once released.
@@D_Morgan Which TS heads and intake manifold/TB? How's is the drivability? Did Fran's remote tune improve the drivability from the previous tunes?

Wow perfect timing. Good to know there's not much (if any) left on the table with Fran's remote tuning.
I think Fran is one of the best Honesty.

This is the best channel on TH-cam SIMPLE 💙
Also... what type of caster wheels do you use for that crane/hoist Matt? Legit asking.
I didn’t realize those exh ports were so huge on those LT’s
This just gave me confidence to attempt a track day on my stock clutch in my low boost Z 😂
So Jeb... when you getting rid of the Nissan and getting a Camaro?
You know you wanna... ;)
How much would a remote tune cost? Curious for my 2010 Camaro SS.

17:57 if that jack let go it would pinch the life out of you on the radiator support.
Need to start a go fund me for some new castor wheels for the engine hoist.
Will there be any more videos? Asking for a concerned friend lol
Yes. Next week back in full action

Any idea if Fran will remote tune a C7 ZR1 that was modded somewhere else. Low speed and off idle tune now is NOT good and I'm not happy with it
C7 ZR1 was very tough to remote tune bc they take so much time getting right even in person
