  • I attended. Suzuki motorcycles test ride event where I had the opportunity to test the 2022 Suzuki GSX-S750.
    Overall this bike has great value in terms of performance especially given the options available in Malaysia.
    In this video I share my initial impression during the brief test session. Enjoy!

    I had a 2002 GSXR750 and while this bike is intriguing but its too much engine for me in the city, going to get a 24 CB650R instead.

    Great review ride, thanj\ks.
    Key how was the wind compared with you CB650? I found it to be quite rough over 100kph compared with other nakeds. Something about the shape. Maybe a fly screen would help.

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. I feel the wind effect is around the same for both bikes. I purposely got a naked bike so the wind prevents me from speeding too much actually so a fly screen might not be good for me 😂

    Good job on the review, any kind of electronics worth mentioning? It does kinda look outdated just by looking at the screen :/ . But i do like the look's of this model, Very Aggressive :D

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea it does look streetfighter ish which I guess works for you which is good. Electronics wise it comes with the modern basics being abs, some power mode and traction control. Which I think is plenty at this price range but then again the triumph trident comes with a colour screen and Bluetooth 🫤

    Did you buy it? I’m looking hard at this and a Yamaha MT09.

      I didn’t buy it. Already have a cb650r which is not too different than the gsxs I feel and I’m not a fan of the design.

    I had read somewhere that the ecu cuts power to 70% in 4 5 and 6th gears. Can anyone confirm?

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow what?? That I can’t confirm but that makes sense. I feel that this bike has more potential to produce more power.

      @@RUBBERNMETALtoo many people saying that online. Maybe it depends on the country you live in?? Others say 150mpg is reasonable.

    The cons I heard on TH-cam were that it rusted and plastic paint faded after three years. It redlines too easily, it comes with supersport tires that wear easy so then how will the bike be after you put tour tires on it. The plastic is cheaply made. The low end is weak compared to the high end. Dull speed meter dash.

      gee -whenever I ride I think - what a great bike. I must like rust and plastic paint fade.

    Mr rubber n metal, if between cb650r vs z900 vs gsx s750??
    (Your opinion without bias answer😊)
    i aim for
    city ride 70%
    Road trip 30%
    *my only downside of Honda Cb650r is the price-kawa & suzy have more cc - same price range as CB650r (2k-3k different)

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi bro! I've never ridden the Kawa Z900 but it has the most HP. I only didn't go with it because of its design. I have a GSXS750 vs CB650R video about to publish it soon probably will answer a lot of questions.
      If you need power the GSXS750 is definitely the bike to go for but for me the CB650R is good enough (although sometimes I just wish the Honda has a bit more punch). The Suzuki is an overall great bike and looks like a sportier bike, it is just a bit older in terms of design.
      To me it will come down to design where I prefer the CB even though it has less power.

      @@RUBBERNMETAL i like your answer cause the looks of CB650R is the one i want to look at in my house 🙃
      Performance wise cb still can go more than 200km/h as im not into speed all the time

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@emirsyafiq4585 thanks bro. Yea the CB is a bike you can stare at. It looks good. Performance wise it can definitely do 200kmh you just have to push it properly. Maybe it will take longer than the more powerful bikes but it is powerful enough for most people.
      Most importantly because it’s a naked bike and makes a lot of noise it will feel fast which is why I love it hehe.

    isn't it supposed to be fazed out?, not longer in introduction.

      I think only in developed nations that follows euro5 but we’re not subject to those environmental regs. It was here before but fully built from japan so it had always been expensive. Now it’s assembled locally they can sell at a lower price comparable to bikes from smaller capacity.

    Not a lot of reviewers mention how buzzy this bike is. I just bought a new one and man it vibrates hard for an inline 4. Much more than my CBR650 did. 15 minutes and my hands and ass were numb.

    • @chuka10
      @chuka10 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      A numb bike is boring u don't feel one with it

    • @seth3000gt
      @seth3000gt 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I just bought mine a month ago and the vibration is too much to even want to ride it anymore. I took it to the dealership and they rode and said it was "Normal". Normal? I also read in their report that the mechanics hands hurt after 5 minutes and suggested that I upgrade my bars and grips! Brand new bike! It's bad enough I literally don't even want to ride it. Not sure what to do. Glad to hear someone else noticing the same thing.

    My buddy just bought one of these brand new 2023 GSX s750 can't believe how slow it is why is it so fucking slow even 600's or smoking it I know a huge part of it is regulations but my gosh this is a little ridiculous I can tell by listening to it it doesn't have hardly any power not to speak of I I ride a 2008 CBR1000 he's not trying to be faster than me but I think you thought the bike would be quicker than it is should have went with the mt10 and he almost did he's kicking himself now

    • @RUBBERNMETAL
      @RUBBERNMETAL  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t wanna say it was slow but it didn’t feel much faster than my cb650r which is supposedly ‘only a 650’. 600s are Supersports tho they tend to be fast in general and lighter too which counts for a lot.
