@@mrfxr1695 update: thanks to your guide I was able to change the oil and oil/air filters myself. It's actually very easy, I can't believe garage quoted me £160 for this quick job. Thank you again. I will be using more of your guides in the future in order to service my car.

Clean sump with brake cleaner. Need to check oil after engine is started as oil filter fills up. Good video.

Yes they do " drink" oil . Recommended is 5w-30 synthetic, that's important part and any well known brand will be good

You're asking about corrugated hose? I'm not 100% sure, from memory I think it is a vent hose. It ventilates space within battery housing into front frame
