Goodbye, no use leading with our chins, This is where our story ends, Never lovers, ever friends; Goodbye, let our hearts call it a day, But before you walk away, I sincerely want to say--- I wish you bluebirds in the spring To give your heart a song to sing, And then a kiss, but more than this, I wish you love And in July a lemonade To cool you in some leafy glade, I wish you health, But more than wealth I wish you love My breaking heart and I agree That you and I could never be, So with my best, my very best I set you free; I wish you shelter from the storm, A cozy fire to keep you warm, But most of all, when snowflakes fall I wish you love;
jane monheit IS GOOD FOR JAZZ! Does anybody remember that insulting feature article in the New York Times Sunday Magazine entitled "Is Jane Monheit Good For Jazz?"? Read it. While petty critical of "Twisted," it shows how Jane got this way. Jane not only phrases this song, she sings her own fill-ins. How does she fit all those embellishments in? I just get thrills over her! I LOVE YOU JANE! I was there at New Haven's Shubert. Don't you all just love the band's solos!

Jane Monheit is the greatest show on earth ..... The best interpreter of jazz at all times ......... She is my GODDESS
Fantastic. Unbelievable. Too much for words to describe.
Wow! They groove! And this loving very beautiful woman... The Lady Singer... wooh...
Fantastic! "Twisted" is my favorite song of Jane's! She's really swingin' with this tune!
Fantastic interpretations! Love it!
Brilliant; Keep it coming!!!!
"Twisted" is such a hard song to sing. Her voice has a lot of swing, sweet rithym and her "scats" reminds me of great Ella Fitzgerald. :-)
