Thank you for emphasizing which example works “for YOU and how YOU shoot”. Not all hands & shooters are created equal. I do not think enough videos emphasize the importance of find what works best “FOR YOU”. Thank you for your work on this post!
First impressions, amazing designed and constructed range, perhaps one of the best I've seen on here to date. Beautiful landscape around it. Excellent selection for comparison. It'd be splitting hairs on which is the best overall, but that'd be down to individual preference.
Great comparison, not many have done this yet, appreciate it. I’d be curious to see how a Glock Ramjet comp compares to these. I’ll probably get the Echelon eventually but Glock and Smiths are my favorites still in the striker segment.
@@TheRancor53 Actually I can give you a quick summary in the meantime. The s&w carry comp recoils felt unnecessarily bad. The Glock 19 with Ramjet feels amazing. You can look at my video that shows my reaction shooting the carry comp and it was not great. BUT I really think the carry comp is oversprung from the factory, and if you put a lighter recoil spring it would make the recoil feel a lot better. I think the harsh recoil impulse is from the slide going back forward rather than back.
Good video. I sent my echelon to monsoon tactical for their lucky 7’s porting. It shoots really nice. Curious if the factory chunk port is better ? Hope someone does a review of that someday.
M&P fan.. they just run and very little muzzle flip even without ports/comps. I carry a ported 2.0 in .40 and between the groups I can produce and the performance of the gold dots I run in it, its a force to be reckoned with.
I really don't think that's a equal comparison since the Smith & Wesson is all metal frame and from the performance center is there upgraded model in Springfield is not the upgraded model that's not a fair comparison if you ask me
I feel like were so close to something amazing. Smith port doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Echelon is just ugly but hopefully the aftermarket will catch up for it, shadow systems and canik both have qc issues but terrible with ss. There are so many great concepts and i feel we are on the right track. Just no perfect execution yet. I think ideally ide like a dwx compact, ported with a decocker. But with a 17rd sig magic mag lol. I think the 365 axg legion is the closest to what im looking for, but i just wish it was a little more high speed competition carry
Thanks a lot. I was looking about the specs of both but the MP has stainless steel barrer. Im not sure if the stainless could be better or not than Ported 4.5" Hammer Forged Steel, Melonite® Finish, 1:10 on Echelon. If someone know more about of this, please tell something. Thanks for the video.
I have the Metal Carry Comp and it is fantastic. 1200 rounds with zero malfunctions, it is the flattest, most accurate and softest of the bunch that I own including Glock 19x MOS, CZ P-10F and Shield Plus. I am looking at adding either the Echelon or Hellcat Comp in the next couple months.
Good video! I love my M&P Carry Comp & may be my favorite IDPA CO gun for now. With that - I am a big SA fanboy & also looking hard at the Echelon Comp.
XR920p for sure if you can conceal more capacity or want a duty sized weapon open carry. As a MR920 owner though I think I’m switching over to Springfield and selling mine.
@@David-mz8moSpringfield is killing it lately. You get the ultimate carry with the hellcat pro or hellcat pro comp. Ultimate duty/home defense in the Echelon/Echelon Comp. Plus the actually very good Prodigy for range and competition. Especially with a few hundred bucks in egw internals. Plus!!!…. Their Saint Victor rifles are very good and a great price. Everything you need with one manufacturer. Great 1911’s too! TRP and emissary and Garrison. The latter two with optics cuts now too! Excellent excellent manufacturer and firearms. Springfield Armory for the win! Extreeeeemely reliable handguns too.
@@ddd910m4 appreciate the feed back 👍 I own the OG echelon and built my battle belt around it with a level 3 safariland and the whole 9 yards. Gives me the G17 feels but with better ergonomics. There’s starting to be a better aftermarket over time for it, but it is the one down side when leaving the Glock platform
I have and love both, but I find myself enjoying the Echelon more. Its ergonomics are fantastic, in my opinion. I’d also like to see Aaron shoot the Echelon more often.
Bought the echelon comp because they called it a glock 17 killer. Well conveniently i have a Glock 17C , Factory ported model from glock, 3 shooters agreed the 17c was flatter and faster. Though the echelon is beautiful and fast and accurate, the 17c still holding its own.
@@pops.davis85 I just shot my first class with mine. Had it for a while closer to when it came out. U would not believe how many people say “I never thought I’d see one of these in person.” 🤣 and they’re surprised that I have one, guess they expect me to pull out a Glock

I own the M&P comp and love it! Having said that, I also plan to buy the Springfield. Yep, it’s a sickness.
There's medication for that. 115 gr or 124 gr
Get down with the sickness
I fully understand 😔
Join the Club Bud..😂😂😂
I have both, you won’t regret either.

I pick my guns like I do my women. Base it on looks and hope it doesn't cause me any problems down the road.
hahaha
Ready for the compact 4’ echelon comp to drop
I bought the m&p compact comp polymer for the reason of holding out in a compact comp'd Echelon.
I wonder if it'll compete too much with the hellcat pro comp?
First impressions, amazing designed and constructed range, perhaps one of the best I've seen on here to date.

I have a Glock with a Ramjet, and I have a Smith and Wesson Polymer Carry Comp... I could do this 🤔

What brand are those tactical leggings?
😂😂
Can you guys create some content related to Dry Fire? What kinds of drills you run, what you work on, etc. Love the content you all create!
We appreciate that! And that's a great idea... we all need to be better about dry fire practice, we don't do that very often at all haha
Can edit for a slow motion draw?
That range is perfect
the best range ever
Love the surrounding area of your range!
Your Breathing is on point 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Got both, the M&P Metal Carry Comp has polymer inserts for recoil dampeners. It would be hard for me to choose a favorite also. 😅
10:22 I would recommend doing a MXAD drill when you do a vs video so you can see how you perceive their performance under pressure.
Good video. I sent my echelon to monsoon tactical for their lucky 7’s porting. It shoots really nice. Curious if the factory chunk port is better ? Hope someone does a review of that someday.
Stay tuned for a review of the Echelon Comp and Echelon Monsoon Tactical chunk port
Both very nice, I'm personally sold on the Echelon; Have both the OG and the Comp model.
Get that Sharps Bros frame, that frame alone is causing me to buy an Echelon.
Great video I'm actually trying to decide between the Echelon and the polymer frame carry comp right now just can't decide which one I want more
Sounds like you need to get both then 😂
If you like firearms don’t kid yourself you need them both
I really enjoyed this video. Thanks!👍

Great shooting and comparison!
in the long-run, do the comps integrated in the design of the pistol, reduce the longevity of the slide and/or barrel?
Bro, with those arms, the guns never had a chance!!!
Thanks for showing the draw from aiwb. Do you think you would actually carry these this way??
Absolutely!! Colin, our marketing director, carries his M&P Carry Comp quite often!

Would you recommend a compensator on a a gun that will be use for duty and EDC?
Same gun shouldn’t be used for both. Duty guns should be full size EDC would be better compact with mag extensions.
Just got my echelon dropped a surefire x300 on it. She runs like a dream, but I need you guys to make an Axis Elite for it. PLEASE!!!!
Mr. A-aron running that recoil delete spell again

I absolutely love my M&P Metal Carry Comp. Best lookin ported and comped pew on the market.

Echelon shoots much flatter but also two different categories. Hellcat is block-like in the grip and but thin for carry.
Hellcat sucks i have one it's so inaccurate I also purchased Springfield threaded barrel with indexing compensator and it's still aweful
The MP is just so good lookin
Great video, I would say that it comes down to price because the M&P is about $350 more expensive!
Fair enough!
Does anyone know if they are selling the completed slides only?
Can you do a review for the walther pdp pro x as well. Thanks!
Good video! I love my M&P Carry Comp & may be my favorite IDPA CO gun for now. With that - I am a big SA fanboy & also looking hard at the Echelon Comp.
M&P gang all day
Agreed
If the springfield used xdm magazines, I'd get one. Glock and S&W use the same magazine in many different models.
I am the exact same way I have the m&P comp and the sig 365 Mac’s I ordered the spring pro camp on sat lol
wouldn't it be great if they made holsters for the guns they made videos on?
A review of all current sticker fire comped pistolas would be Great!!!!
I have the M&P, No exaggeration that for me at 10 yards it produces clovers. It’s by far the most accurate comp 9 mm I have
Very nice review on both. Seemed equal
You should have added the Shadow Systems MR920P or XR920P in the mix. Which is the best bang for the buck?
That's easy, the M&P compact one, it's $750. You can add the Apex flat trigger kit and maybe an optic and still be cheaper than the Shadow systems
@@awokeone7997 Yeah, until you need good customer service. S&W is a terrible company.

I was a echelon guy till I changed the grips. Now the grips come off without rhyme or reason.
Been eyeing the shadow system cr920xp can get it for 611 with my leo dis but this is nice and springfield officers it to
Echelon looked a little flatter on the 20 yard line
Echelon with the Icarus metal grip is probably sick
What you said. I'm trying my hardest right now not to sell a glock I've probably got $1200 in and buy that exact set up.

What brand are those pants?
Howitzer Clothing Foxtrot pants - super comfy
With that brown cliff backstop it looked like he was just shooting between 2 wooden empty poles? 😂😂
Bro couldn’t even put his phone in his pocket because his jeans are so tight

Im watching this know damn well i wont buy either pistol lol. Im in the market for a XR920 Elite
Zev hypercomp FTW!
Also a great option!
I’ve almost hit “buy” on the Echelon comp several times. Ugh. Want it so bad 😂
These guns are obviously compensating for something.
I want a Springfield but I can’t afford it. So day
Need Aaron’s pants ngl
Howitzer Clothing foxtrot pants!
Aarons muscles*
Compare to the CR920XP.
Those pants can’t be any tighter if they tried. #NoBulgeEither
Which one will you choose?
me "yes"
wise choice
Would appreciate the human variable being minimized in the accuracy portion.
If they’re even close in shooting comparison which they are, the M&P is by far the sexier of the 2.

What are your thoughts on how the triggers compared to one another?
Pretty comparable! The M&P is better but neither are as good as the APEX trigger kit for the M&P.
