Appreciate you Yvan! Especially your lecture points regarding the halo-product lesson and the largely untapped tractor market. Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸🗽🎆🎇
Great Video Yvan, something I have learned since starting my detailing business is your not detailing for other detailers but rather for your customers, If your customers are happy than that's all that matters. There can be so much misinformation and negative judgement in this industry, you really just have to get out there and practice and learn what works best for you.
Today I applied C6 Hydro to my Tesla, and all I have to say is. Bud, this should have taken me 2 days to do like the last time when I bought the car new. It took 6 hours by myself from start to finish. Pretreat, wash, Decon, dry, polish, IPA, APP, then C6 Applied. This is the most slickest Ceramic Coating I have ever seen. Tonight the Interior when it cools down. Can’t wait to see what the industrial application will do. And Yvan, To Date you have the hottest Ceramic Coating on the market to date. Don’t change a thing, just keep it up. You have a Client for life.
do you told them that I'd they wanted their car the same day , they would have to pay $200 more if they wanted it the same day, even though they would have a loaner car? They ypu Saif we where able to get the car back to them the say day? So did you still charge them the $200? what coating was the most expensive or top of the line coating? what did you charge them? Do you still have your shops today Ivan? Thank you
Hi Yvan, you mentioned after the ceramic coating for maintenance, washing every week or two. How do you sell those maintenance washes? I’m mobile and that wash would be at least $120 in order to stay profitable. How did you approach the maintenance in your shops after the vehicles were coated? Thanks!
47:16 "Humid days the coating cures faster than a dry day"... Is this meant to be reversed? Everywhere I read, it says, coatings cures faster in a dry climate not a humid climate.
@@Detailers-Business-Academy sorry, one more, is it the risk of high spots? I’m stuck using old technology at the moment. I’ve done a couple coatings and it’s rained very shortly after. I looked for high spots because I figured that might be the main problem, with it curing faster is some spots over other spots, is this a correct assumption?
Who’s selling a 15ml bottle let’s be real mate! You’re literally criticising things that YOU have made up this whole video. This was like watching 100 detailing shorts put together “ in terms of advice
@ no mate, I’m having a fine day… who sells 15 ml bottle of paint protection? You can’t argue the point I made which is you’re making things up and then arguing against them? Which means you’re just arguing with your self about shit you made up and the. Pretending it’s education 🤣🤣
Funny you speak of Florida and fracturing but you C6 coating has Never been tested in Florida. That's why I turned down your product. I need to see to believe.
It’s been tested all over the world, including Florida. C6 Ceramics would not release a product without extensive testing. Just because you haven’t tried it, doesn’t mean others haven’t. C6 Ceramics have been in testing since 2019 FYI, and have survived much harsher environments than Florida.
As always, a beautiful speech! 👍👏👌
Thank you so much 😀

Well said
Thanks Yvan for all the infos! Super interesting!
Merci
I like the idea of not limiting myself by only working with one ceramic coating company. I’m thinking of working with two: DIY Detail and C6 Ceramics.
DIY and c6 are part of same company
Good choices
Nothing against either, but this is a silly comment. Literally sister companies lol
😆
As always, extremely informative. Thanks!
My pleasure!
Merci Yvan pour le soutien d'aujourdhui, super apprécié.
Thanks for the conversation we add today. Mathieu
Avec plaisir.
Wow great video and a Lotta great information

Next time I wish you can give the microphone to the people so we can hear what they’re saying with their questions. Thank you.
We just purchased a solution for that

Sold our shops in 2019. At the time our best offering was $2500

We had a hand car wash, maintenance was easy

Humidity and heat allow coatings to cross link faster.
Une vidéo sur la communication de la clientèle et leur attentes serait super. Est ce que vous donnez des cours privés?
Bonne idée, oui pour les cours, envoie moi un e-mail yvan1lacroix@icloud.com

Thank you.
I market to the guys who own antique vehicles too there the ones who put time and money into restoring and old vehicle
Great
Why can coatings not go in the rain. And conversley, wouldn't rain make it cure faster?
Newer technology coatings can. Humidity is good, too much isn’t.

@aarongrantthebulk high spots are not the concern.
@@Detailers-Business-AcademyHi Yvan, any coatings you recommend that are good to go in 1 hr?
DIY Detail and C6 Ceramics
So good. Long term storage to cure a coating is outdatedl, and costly to us.
Agreed
Second 😂,
Anyways looking forward on how to increase prices and more importantly how to interact with clients 😎
